well farrrr I mean shoot, May have to run a scan I am typing a whole paragraph before it shows up on the screen and clicking back and forth is taking forever. Nephew came over and got the furnace door on for me. I messed up on measurements when I had it cut and it is about 3 in too short Oh well can put strip across the bottom. Gutters are clean and door with handles put back on I'm getting there slowly but surely.

Smiley have a necklace that was my mil's that is very old with a butterfly and torquoise beading. I let my daughter take it to school around 15 years of age and she gave it to her boyfriend who in turn momved to Florida. I was fit to be tied and made her have him mail it back lol

Hey Rachel, I was thinking Dixie's Taro is Hawaiian, Colocasia esculenta var. esculenta, as it looks like it might be clumping. I need to see more photos to be sure though.
Does Colocasia gigantea form a clump, or throw runners?

Dixie, I am jumping ship. Don't take it personal, I have to go make dinner. Actually, heating up those leftover tofu stuffed shells. At least the sauce masks the boing-y-ness of the tofu.

Yep, Dial-Up! I noticed that other folks can post up to six photos in the time it takes me to do one, when the connection is fast. Takes about 10 to 15 minutes! I hit the send button, then go make a cup of coffee, pound a few nails, or hang some laundry.

Thanks Dixie, it looks like the plant is not clumping like Hawaiian Taro does. I think the plant is what Hawaiians call 'ili ua ua ("tough skin taro"), an Asian Taro.

It may well be what Rachel called it; Colocasia gigantea.

How much. Grin.
