well have two girls, one looks just like me with brown eyes and hair, the other takes after both with brown eyes and blond hair like dad and son has blonde hair and blue eyes after dad and grandpa on my side. His dad had green eyes that changed with mood or color of shirts he was wearing Must say we did good.

welll not exactly sure how dna works but think blood type determines blood kin. So if mom even if she is gone had records of her blood type they could still determine if your bf's son is actually his. Needs to be done, think about what that poor guy is going through not knowing for sure. Yes I try to do something inventive with grandkids every year and have a homemade Christmas ornament receipe that we will probably do this year. Just wish I was more artistic.

Got all the neighborhood kids one year and we made Christmas wreaths out of grapevines. They drawed names and the one that brought the funniest gift won a prize. It was fun for them and see them all grown up now and they remember the fun we all had.

At this point the DNA thing doesn't matter, it's just keep him away from grandma....we had our home phone shut off cause she'd call and leave messages all day ranging from vaguely polite to screaming in the phone she's gonna kill us all....or she calls the cops when we didn't answer and told them we had him for the weekend and wouldn't give him back.

she's made complaints to social security, that we were mis appropriating his death benefits...so they stopped his check...she called DCFS on us so many times they told her if she called again they were going to file charges against her

Sounds like a good lawyer is needed to stop that nightmare.

Hey stplong I envy your talents, Love the quilting. I am just now playing catch up as work,kids,orthadontist,weddings and tragedys kept me busy for years. I'm trying to knit now but because I am always multitasking find it hard to concentrate lol

after throwing 12 grand at the problem we are done! at this point it's pretty much just let the cops take him away...I play referee every day between him and the other kids

Flowers, yes, she is bee-you-tee-ful and talented too. And I'm not even biased about it (ha ha). I should scan her junior picture into my home computer. Don't have a scanner here at work. She is like her grandmother (it skipped a generation) sings, musical, artistic, crafty, the whole bit. She has a piece of art in a children's museum in Japan, in a permanent exhibit. Bill is very jealous, calls her an international artist.
