yes to the bulbs, until it stops raining I can't get out there to plant them
hay once it gets wet once it won't move, and not completely covered cuz wet hay is heavy
and yes I do plan to cut all the sweet potatoes back, the ones that have tubers will be cut completely back and stored for the winter, the Freeze just came way faster than expected! so I got a little overwhelmed, and I still have a box of stplong's coleus I'm trying to get sorted out
Oh yeah and I planted this little vignette today too
GYPSIES MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND
Everyone kept saying how wonderful straw was!!!! If it becomes heavy, I don't what that!!!! Shoot! Now I will have to take it back.
yeah I know and I'm still doing trades!
Hello my name is Katrina and I am a plant addict....but think of all the great oxygen in our houses

Well I have all those very tiny plants under my gate and Judy's little . . I can't remember what it is called! How am I going to keep those from dying this winter?
Was anyone else sending me something that needed to be planted now??
Trina, were you going to send me anything that needs to go outside? Thank you but NO ROSES! If you want to share some of your bulbs. . . ?? But I think it is going to warm up to 60 degrees in a week. So maybe you can plant them then.
Oh yeah I almost forgot where I was

my 89 year old grandpa made the log cabin blocks I put the quilt top together and now I am working on hand quilting it.

do glad bulbs need to be planted now or are they suppose to be brought in, Patick bought a lot of bulbs from a co-op this past spring and we only planted a few and I think we have about 80-100 of them

oh those can be covered completely...not a problem...I don't think so I think I had more seeds and something special hehehe
Donna depends did he buy hardy glads or regular glads?
if he bought hardy glads plant them or wait, if they aren't hardy glads then you have to dig them up they won't survive in zone 5.....lost alot of those in the past until I finally learned...sometimes I'm slow
if they don't say then they probably are not hardy but you can look them up by name in plant files to double check....I keep thinking just zone 6 maybe a 7 would be nice, wouldn't have to dig glads in zone 7 and could have irises too
thanks for the info, I will talk to you all later, I have to resuce the dogs, she is chasing them around with a blanket to pick them up to take them to bed,
DG says Plum Tart starts in zone 8a.
LOL Donna, Night...I fanally got mine in bed!
Donna, all of those glad bulbs start in zone 8. Good site for many types.
