Just checking in at lunch and waiting on a phone call before heading back to work.. Droped off the rental truck and ate a quick lunch... Now its really getting back to work.. just hoping it picks up so I can get a few other things taken care of..

It's a beautiful morning here in the Miami Valley of Ohio. The leaves are really starting to turn now and I heard this morning that Cleveland is at their peak. So I imagine by this time next week, we will be too.

We've had freeze two nights in a row now, so I have some slimy plants to pull from the garden and some others to cut down.

I invited some sweet girls from "Girl Talk" to join us here, and I've already deemed them sistahs...so when they show up, please make them feel welcome as I know you would without me saying that!!!! ^_^

Forgot to mention that our Kathy is scheduled for back surgery the first part of November....I'm telling you, what are we going to do with that girl!!!!

Morning---er afternoon that is. I have been up since 6 but got busy right away on something and just now taking a break. Need to shower and go buy some groceries as we have pretty much cleaner the cupboards out with the soup I made yesterday.

The sun is out shining brightly but a nice chill in the air. Perfect day is you ask me--but then no one did so..........

BRRR!!! cold and raining here today. Kinda glad didn't want to be digging ditch again. I got a little tires working out at Curve's this morning but I managed to burn 637 calories whoo!!! Going to work on Barbie doll house, although I feel like sewing so I may make some Barbie clothes instead. TTYL ^_^

Sorry I kinda crashed last night. After services, we had to empty out a storage unit, and didn't finish till late.

I do raised bed gardening for some brugs and the veges. Doctor said not to be working in wet conditions.. so the water hose is a no-no for me too :(

Was supposed to drop to 40 last night, but mercifully, it hovers around 50. Didn't finish with mulching and thank God, the tropicals left outside are fine this morning.

Yah Pegi.. one can get hooked here easily. There were days when I don't see outside and my behind would be glued to this chair facing the monitor!!

Seems like our Bonnie will try to make it to the State Fair. Wish I'm living closer, would love to see all the arts and crafts for sale there!
This town is hosting it's annual Yam Festival, and it's a small one. I've never been to one, don't intend to.

Afternoon....not much going on really-Chris is having a bunch of guys over for Poker later.

I have to say that yesterday was the second worst Bday I've ever had. I guess that's only fair since last year's was one of my best. I was mad that DH (and the D is not for dear today) chose to stay at work and drink at the bar with colleagues instead of coming home. So I saw him for a few mins yesterday am and that was it. I was sleeping B4 he even came home last night.

Oh well, no use crying over spilled wine.

Cookie-thanks for the update on Kathy. I will be thinking of her and will try to remember to give her a call this next weekend.
