Hi all. Sorry yall are cold. Pretty pictures though Kassy. It's still hot down here. Believe me you would get sick of this heat also. I didnt know dave had horses. Looks like they may have some Arabian blood by the shape of the ears. Husband and I enjoyed our little escape last evening. Neither one of likes to go to much. Were old home bodys most of the time . Have to get away once and a while. I'm throwing a wave out there to you to Moon. Hi Smiley, Flowers ,Trina,Venice,Kassy,JJ, Dave .Waving at yall . And every cotton pickin body else that pops in. Grin.
Gypsies and Well-diggers....oh my
Hello, any one out there? Guess I'll go clean poo then. ha,ha,he,he,he,he
Oh Poo, I missed you, Dixie....LOL Glad ya had a good time....dates can be fun, grin. Waving right back at ya!
I think Dave said the horses belong to his neighbor....ah well, off again...later.
HELLO OUT THERE !!! Moon....? any one out there? Oh great. Now I think we have a storm coming.
Hows'it everybody!
The horses are actually ponies, and are my neighbors.
Brrr! Kassy those photos make me want to close windows and put shoes on.
The way the wind is blowing, I may land on one of your lawns. Just look for a woman smeared in poo. That will be me. Grin. I always have on clean undies just in case skirt flies over my head when I'm coming in for a landing.
Some ones alive,Out there! Hi Dave hows the house coming along.
Aloha ahiahi Dave! Is the white pony a female?
Well, thought I had detected life for a moment there.
Hi ya VENICE!! How the heck are ya girl? Our little thread is pretty desolate right now.
Dixie, I thought maybe you would take photos of your poo babies.
Just cleaned up my patio from all the plants I pulled up and all the clay soil I dug up when planting some stuff. That soil was really yellow!
Guess I'll go have dinner. But I'll be baaaaaaack !!
Hi Dixie & Carol! Aloha aku!
The white pony is a female named Wind, and mother to the other pony whose name is Baby.
I thought the white pony looked a little skinny but had a big tummy. Does she have a baby in her tummy or is it the way she is standing?
I had a cat who had a baby about twice her size!
Any building yet today? Is this your lunch break?
Dave, so what does -- A hui hou, aloha nui loa -- mean?
Also, one time I was trying to say "funny," like what you said was funny. Is that what -- ho’omake’aka -- means? Or did I do it again and tried to used that pathetic dictionary!
Beautiful Arabian!
Do the ducks and chickens eat the same thing? Where did you get them?
I think the Arabian's have the most beautiful heads out of all of the horse breeds. Elegant horse. Vinice, did yall catch the Poo's? Hope no one caught the poos. Bad virus . Grin.
Yes, cute little ducks and chicks. How old are they?
ok stopping by really quick as my shoulder itches and hurts at same time.
was taking care of a yellow jacket nest with hubby and two other guys from my moms trailer as she is highly allergic to bees . well i was no where near the nest but one of those devils attacked me. got tangled in my pony tail and bit me.
well never been bit in 37 years as knew to aviod the things. now my shoulder looks like it has a knot the size of a golf ball on the back. went to er as sorta had tightness of chest. they gave me bendadryl and told me to go home. wasnt having enough of umm reaction to warrent any treatment.
now this thing itches like all get out. but if you touch it hurts like hockey sticks.
did we get the nest yes and the queen. unfortunatly the nest had to be killed as the queen wasnt a normal jacket queen according to the bee saver guys. that queen was huge compared to the others but they say she wasnt a umm not right queen never did say if she was one of those killer bee type queens. but looked different too. here workers and drones we re like a quarter of her size. weird nest and very aggressive if i say so myself.
but now trying not to itch to death. still have isnuses and rain aint helping none. good for plants but not for me. which all look yellowish istead of green. anyway off to fix dinner. dont know what yet. see whats in freezer. hugs Rie
Until we meet again, a big aloha.
Make'aka means funny, comic, amusing.
Ho'omake'aka, is to cause laughter.
Hana ho'omake'aka, is doing something to cause laughter.
'Olelo ho'omake'aka, is telling a joke.
Mea ho'omake'aka, is a clown.
We bought the Poo's at The Flying Eagle Ranch down here. Yes , for now they can eat the same things . They eat chick grower now. When they were just hatchlings they started on the chick starter. They like, garden peas, pasta, rice, bugs, and worms. So far. I'm sure as ther grow the diet will as well. And guess what,so will the poo!! Grin.
Forgot to mention they love dog food. Put it in the blender and grind it up real fine. Little things love it.
Rie, can you put ice on your golf ball? Frozen peas or something? They say that is good for a sting.
Dave, wow, funny has so many different kinds of funny.
I forget, why can't the poo babies go out in the yard?
Rie, melt an asprin in a spoon of water and put paste on sting will take itch and swelling away. Should do this as soon as it hit but should still help. Even heard toothpaste is good but haven't tried that one. Wow Kassy didn't want to see that until late December. Dixie the poos are soooo cute!! Aloha kaola mika drake kia Dave Lol. Oh ;goody Venice more seeds lol.Moon how we gonna talk if ya keep dartin around????? Where is Trina hope she isn't sick.Smiley cook enough to share!
If any one smokes in the famiy, tobacco will take the soreness out of the sting. Just wet the tobacco a little and make a poultice. It will help the soreness of the sting a lot. I hope you feel better. Leave the tobacco on the sting about 5 minutes.
Is it raining everwhere??? I'm also starting to get web feet.
They can go in the yard . And do quite a lot. We have to watch over them . Because of cats mainly. Hawks as well. When they get bigger I wont worry as much. Our dog does a good job keeping foxes away.
are you raising them for the eggs Dixie?
Heard ya Flowers, its pouring over here.
Well I picked the knitting back up and have something that resembles a scarf lol. I don't know how to make it evolve into anything yet so guess I will keep stitching untill I run out of this ball of yarn, will be the biggest scarf in history lol
No we didnt raise them from eggs. They were 3 days old when we bought them. They are just pets. Since I am pretty much the mother for them . They will follow me every where. They are so gentle.
Thats sweet, have doctored ducks, squirrels, and birds. When kids were home we had a farm of sorts. All kinds of little creatures running around` Loved feeding them with little bitty bottles`
We may eat the chicken eggs Flowers, but not the ducks. I have heard of people eating duck eggs. Not for us though.
no never ate those either but the chicken eggs will be nice and fresh and save you some money.
What is wrong with duck eggs?
