The storm got coverage (revisited) on Weather channel and CNN over the weekend. The sheer number of trees damaged and destroyed was boggling.

Haven't seen Lynnie much lately....think she had a b'day party for one of her girls and her FIL had accident, maybe she is really busy with those.

Hi! All

I took all the green tomatoes off my vines instead of letting them hang outside. I have a total of 5 pounds of cherry tomatoes that came off of 2 vines! I forgot, I suppose I need to wash them first before putting them away.

Can I put my bags in a room temperature closet? My other bedroom is cooler but no closet. I could put them in a box in that room. Or do they need more air circulating around them?

As long as its dark and cool Venice. And if real dirty would wash and dry them first.

I sure hope these taste ok. I would hate to waste all of them

They will be fine, just check them once a week and get the ripe ones and maybe rotten ones out.

Flowers, I think nigella is a flower, but last time I mentioned flowers being in the eye of the beholder there were 1000 posts of pictures weeds and they made me cry.

I was digging up my sweet potato vines. No tubers. But I found a seed! Then I started looking through all the other plants. I just didn't know what they looked liked.

The pods are like a petunia pod but at least half as small. I found one brown one that was open and the rest were green but took them off anyway. They are located in the V where a leaf stem grows from a branch. Sometimes there are tiny leaves there but I must have found 30 in all. They were just hiding! I bet your plant has seeds since you know were to look now.

I am saving a couple chunks of root and a few that have leaves on a branch. Most of my leaves were not in good shape and had either spots or holes. No way am I saving a whole plant!

Smiley, thanks for the link to the yummy forum of itty bitty termaters!. I am so hungry now. Since it is late I will just have cottage cheese, Wasa, and cherry tomatoes of course!!! I would have a salad but no lettuce. That is my favorite way to eat my tomatoes.

Flowers, I didn't think that my tomatoes were dirty but washed them anyway with a drop of Ivory. When I took them out of the water, the water was dirty! Glad I washed them!
