I got a backet of 20 mixed canna seeds..so this will be interesting since I've only ever seen the red ones!

I love cannas Smilely, mine didn't come back but neighbors did that I gave hi;m.

All I can ever find around here is the red ones that are about 5 feet tall. There is a house on the way to the park that had a beautiful display of Canna's. They had them all lined up, going up the side of the driveway. Yellow, then orange, then red, then purple really tall cleomes. It looked really nice.

I haven't dug up the sweet potatoes yet that was my next question! LOL Venice has become a mind reader or we are starting to rub off on her! LOL

apparently they also come with differnt colored foliage....I like the Castor bean plants too those are cool! they get massive and come in different colors!

well if everything that I start from seed takes off I will have a very nice and lush tropical setting for my pool and hottub next summer

We got the hot tub because this guy desperately needed his car fixed but didn't have any money to pay so he traded us the hot tub to get his car fixed! so now I have a massive hot tub to go sit and relax in...or I will when we get it placed and hooked up

Got a heater for the pool that way too, just needs hooked up....story of my life a very LONG honey do list! LOL

Trina that sounds like some of the wheeling and dealing that goes on at our house. I dont think we will have a pool next summer. At least not in the convintional way. Husband has got it in his head to make a pond out of it. With a little dock and all. I have given him the goahead and do it. We are just sick of cleaning it. Thinking about putting Koy fish in there.Your hot tub sounds nice. I think you will enjoy soaking and relaxing in it.

Yall remember, some of the old bands? Heres some from when I was growing up. The J Guiles band,dont know if I spelled that right. Fog Hat,The Doobie Brothers, ZZ Top,Grateful Dead,Lynard Skinard. I could go on and on. Thinking a lot about music since we all had our singing bee.

Venice I think you already have both of those on the list I just hadn't recieved them yet. here's hoping it doesn't rain tomorrow...but I got my area all prepped for your butterfly bush the daylilies and the turtleheads from smiley...so If it doesn't rain I will be playing in the dirt...and I got some nice low growing shady ground covers to put under the roses down the fence line to keep the weeds from taking over.... again!

Seed that diddle diddle reminds me of the cat and the fiddle and the cow jumped over the moon....Do yall remember that? All though thats a rhyme. We can make a song out of it though. I'll play the drums, Trina you get the key boards and seed you play the Sax. We will blues it up a little.Grin. When Moon pops back in she can have the guitar.

I relish the countdown! and then about 30 minutes after they all finally settle and get in bed...me and the laptop go to the bedroom, more comfy sitting, jammies, my ipod, and some relaxtion

30 more minutes and then mom gets some quiet time....BF won't be home until 3 or 4 he already said....so I can really jam to the iPod tonight...Soon I can pretend I'm Janis and woohoo
