The Basil Gypsy Rockband
Yes Dave Philodendron....sorry....hey I'm getting better!
29 minutes and all the little children must go to bed.....YEAH!!!!!
I knew the other one was getting too long and I couldn't think of anything...I still say BB King is better
yeah the heathens are all in bed....I'd have a party but no one's here....everyone's watching "Dancing With the Stars" aren't they?
Hey guys! Just now got this laptop to cooperate. I feel like I am talking outside of the box. I was typing on my keyboard and couldn't figure out why it wasn't showing up lol.
Hi Dave, love the tropicals!! Hows the addition going?
Can you use a laptop like a regular computer?
I guess so, I'm doing it lol. Just plugged in the modem and the mouse and walaa I'lm here. Hard to get use to the keyboard The keys are up high on the board and makes it awkward to type in my opinion.
Well, finally I am back. I had a Trojan! So I cleaned my computer and ran a full scan.
Hi Flowers!
Been waiting for the weather to let up so it is more convenient to build. The floor is soon ready to put on, I don't won't to do that when it's wet.
I may have to paint the flooring, before I put it on the support.
My son has a wireless modem so therefore can carry his to other parts of the house and is not confined to one area.
Dave, I don't get it. You get less rainfall per year than any of us. And it seems like it is always raining there!
Hey Venice, Trojens are bad news for sure. We cllick on so many links it is easy to get them. Dave it sounds like things are humming along and you will be hanging curtains before you know it. What is the lowest Temperature y;ou get there in winter months.?
I use AOL and have been doing all my searches on it. Tonight I couldn't find a photo of the plant that Dave ID'd so I tried Explorer. That's when I got the Trojan and my computer froze. I guess everything is ok now.
Hope you are getting use to your keyboard.
I think every where all over the map has had an ample amount of rainfall this year which has been good for most as the last few years have been awfullu dry.
hey I like my wireless netbook I get to sit in bed now and play on here and listen to my iPod!!!! and most importantly be all comfy cozy in my warm blankies and pj"s!
well I'm not real impressed with this set up Venice but glad to have something to browse with. I guess its just according to what you get use to. I do like the fact that the clicking is quieter when typing on the laptop.
we parked a boat in the driveway and it floated to the neighbors house.....just kidding although today it's windy enough I was wondering if my chupacabra would make a good kite
That is the trick for sure Trina! If I could unhook this one and take it to my warm bed that would be nice indeed.
Trina, glad you are all warm and comfy! That rose is so pretty. Is that regular size rose? You sure are a wiz at knowing the names of plants! I put 2 groups of plants on your list. I hope that is it for today.
Temps are nice here right now and supposed to continue that way for the remainder of the week, so dealing with a little rain is not a problem its the cold I'm dreading.
yes that is a regular size rose one of the many unamed ones lurking here and there in the weed pit in the back....it smells good too....oh and venice my stepson got the camera fixed so I can go get pictures of those hostas for you
I guess we are getting all that wind tomorrow.
There are some locus leaves in the office park where I have physical therapy. I thought they would be good for mulch because they are so small but I would have to take the stems out. Not for winter mulch but just to mix in the soil. However, I need a couple of days for them to dry out.
one more thing I think venice
Dave are plumeria easy to grow from seed? that's what they gave out atthe funeral today packets of Plumeria, Hibiscus, and something else with the programs
Did you have any Japanese beetles eating it? I am really surprised because they eat anything that smells good!
hibiscus I've done, Plumeria i have seeds I just got, but had to go get some pots this afternoon, and I still can't remember the other one
nope I got about 3 dozen toads in the garden.....helps keep the bugs down period
I just looked up Plumeria and it has a beautiful flower but it looks like it is another indoor plant. Do you know what type Hibiscus seeds you received?
Toads eat J. beetles?? If that is so, JJ needs some!
I couldn't wait to see what kind of seeds were in those large bean hosta pods. They were laying right here so I opening one! I will wait for the others to dry.
Well if crows like them I shouldn;'t have any problems with them next year. You wouldn't believe the crows in my yard this time of year.
Do they eat the toads or something?
i guess they do...I haven't had a problem with them this year....Hibiscus says mixed Hawaiian Hibiscus...didn't know there was a difference and the plumeria is probably 10 more seeds of the Maui Beauty you already have on the list....becaus eit was her favorite and she brought me (and everyone else) seeds every time she went...well if you multiply 6 times a year and 2 packets each of 20 thats. alot of seeds they I hate to say now I threw pretty much all of them away for the last 13 years cuase I'm an idiot and didn't know what they were.....but she always brought me back seeds and lots of them.....once she brought me back a wal-mart bag full of canna seeds, I lived in south Texas at the time....whoever moved in that place after me probably hates me
No lol, but thinking they like the slugs in the ground, they are sure picking at something.
omg that's old....sorry we are family....I got all my sisters and me
Trina, never went to a funeral where they handed out seeds. That was nice.
Well I guess Dave nodded off, he never did answer my question
