I just heard something bang down in the cellar... be right back... I just checked and nothing is amiss.

The Friday night, my Mother and I were watching television, when we both heard a bang come from the kitchen/dinning room area. We both turned to look at the same time and I asked her if she heard it too. She said, 'Yes', and we got up to look, but there nothing was wrong.

I could hear music the other night, but couldn't tell where exactly it was coming from. I checked outside and couldn't hear any music playing, but when I stepped back inside I could hear it again. So, it must've been coming from an inside source. I shut off everything that could possibly make a musical tone, but I could still hear it. The music continued for about an hour then stopped.

I heard voices yesterday. (Quiet, you.) I heard what sounded like a radio playing but I couldn't understand what was being said. This went on for about 20 minutes. I stepped outside and tried to find where it was coming from but could hear nothing. Sometimes my neighbor to the east plays his radio very loud in his house but it wasn't him. I checked the fireplace, nothing. The basement, no. The backyard, still nothing. I stood in the middle of the house, which has 4 rooms surrounding and could hear a man's voice distinctly.

I see somebody beat me. LOL Interesting, Moe, that you and I both heard stuff.

I like the "old forest" pic. Maybe you could get one at dusk, instead of full dark.

Kwan, maybe you should record the voice so you could turn it up and hear it better.

That's a good idea. We have one of those voice-activated digital recorders. I'll pull it out and see what happens. I haven't heard the voice today.

A little interesting information to share this morning...

Last night I was sitting on my couch with Monk - my little Chihuahua - watching TV. My hubby was in “his chair” watching TV also. My purse was on the couch also, near the end of it. I had my legs stretched out along the couch with my feet hanging off of it. All of a sudden I noticed the little chain on my purse - that has a little brass nugget shaped kinda like a pyramid - with a point on the end of it - was going around in small circles. I watched it for about a minute to see if it would stop. It didn’t. I called my hubby over to look at it. When he saw it he automatically switched into the detective mode and began trying to figure out why this little chain and bobble kept swinging. He took Monk away from me and put him on the other chair. He put his hand all around the purse to see if a breeze was coming from anywhere. The air conditioner nor heater were on. Hubby unplugged the refrigerator…saying “this is a mobile home and vibrations from anything can travel throughout the house.” I sat very still - in the same position I had been when I first saw it moving. Now that all obvious reasons for this chain to be moving had been stopped we just sat there and watched it continue to move.

Finally my hubby reached over and moved the purse slightly and then let fall back into place. The chain stopped moving. Hubby jumped up and down on the floor to see if it would shake the chain back into movement…nothing. He plugged the refrigerator back in…still no movement. We thought it could have been the pulse in my legs or body making the chain move but still no movement though I still hadn’t changed my position at all. My hubby was stumped…which for being such a syndic and logical man was rather unnerving to me.

I watched the chain off and on until we went to bed and still no movement.

The funny thing is, I started having dreams again over the last couple of months. Most of them have been unpleasant or worrisum.

Monday night I dreamt that I was at my daughter in law (with 5 kids still living at home). I haven’t dreamt about her for some time. I haven’t been thinking about her cause things have really been quite now they are in Alaska. In the dream she was in a strange house - one I’d never been in. There were a lot of rooms and each had a toilet - I don‘t remember how many but I would say between 5 to 10. They were all overflowing with raw sewerage. I was trying to clean them up and stop them from overflowing. I woke. My daughter in law used to have dreams about overflowing toilets all the time when she lived here.

Tuesday night I dreamt that she and my son were have marriage difficulties. Their family was being torn apart. I could only see the two youngest children in the dream. The 9 year old and the 2 years old. I woke

Because I haven’t had dreams about her and then I had two in a row I got worried and called her Wednesday night. I told her about the first dream and she told me how bad her week had been cause my son had been sent to IL and she had to do all the running for all 5 kids by herself. She also told me that the 9 year old had gotten sick that very day and had been in bed all day. I told her about the second dream and she said things were fine between her and my son. I told her to be careful cause you never knew what lay around the corner - for her to be “on guard”. Thursday my daughter in law told me that the 9 year old had been diagnosed with the Swine flu. That really made me worry because of my dreams.

I may have mentioned before in this forum that I used to have dreams a lot but things have been quite for sometime and I was grateful that they were because when I had dreams they were always warnings of “a hard season coming”.

I had another dream last night…too long to go into right now and not about my daughter in law. But this morning - after the strange events around here lately and my dreams starting up again - I FINALLY spent some time with the Lord and opened the Bible to do some reading. As I grabbed the Bible to turn it around I arbitrarily opened it to Hosea 5. It mentioned some specific things that had occurred in my dream last night. Later when I picked up the Bible to write down some things from Hosea I saw that it was opened to Jonah 2-4. I read it and can only wonder.

Interesting about the chain. I'm curious. Does your purse have a magnet anywhere on it?

No more voices for me. Yet.

Oh, dear, scardie, I will pray for the child with the swine flu. How interesting that your DIL had the same dreams in that house, and you didn't mention plumbing problems. Weird story about the chain!

Ok, time for an update. I finally got hold of my daughter in law. She said Gabriel is up and around - much better. But now Josh the oldest boy (17) has it. Hopefully it won't go through all 5 of the kids. Thanks for your continued prayers.

Don't know of any magnets in the purse. I've been watching the chain the last few days...nothing. I'm sure there is some logical excuse for it. Maybe when hubby pushed the purse back the chain DID touch the couch - could have been anything - though hubby still thinks it was weird.

Especially if it moved for a long time!

Yea...that what has him stumped...it moved for so long - until he finally stopped it - and he couldn't find a reason. If it happens again then I'll know more what to look for.

ok, I spent every morning this week in prayer. I believe some interesting things happened in the first two days but I don't want to make this into a church service so I think because we all have our own beliefs I will just keep a diary and let everyone know if anything interesting happens in the future.

Can't wait to hear some exciting news form everyone else though. Keep 'em coming. It's very interesting.

...nothing "concrete" has happened in my prayer time or my home but if it does - something concrete that is - It'll be fun to share it with everyone.

kwanjin - did you set up the voice recorder? Where did you get yours from. I am thinking about getting one. I'd also like to get one of those energy detectors...you know where the needle sways when energy is present.

I did set up the recorder but, so far, nothing out of the ordinary has been on it.

I got the recorder from my BIL who used it for school.

Fascinating. I’m going to look on the internet to see what equipment I can find. Sounds fun.

Any of them will do. You can find them, I think, at office supply places. Office Max, Staples, like those.

that would be easier. Ok...a day of shopping it is.

So...Darrell and I both heard the voice again last night but only for a moment. No time to get the recorder. We heard it for about 20 seconds and then it went away. Also, the white cat is back. I saw it twice yesterday. I have been having eye problems the last few months. I'm curious if that is part of it.

White cat? I don't remember that part. Interesting!

For those who don't know, there is a white cat I've been seeing in our house. The first time I saw it was about a year after we moved in in 2004. He moves quickly and you can only see him out of the corner of your eye. A white blur most of the time but, at other times, you can definitely see a cat. I have a white cat but it's not him. He's too blurry with fat to move that fast. LOL I stopped seeing him after my mom passed away last year but now he's back.

I mentioned this thread to my BIL and he told a few stories of growing up. The most memorable is when he had a plastic parrot on a swing hanging from his ceiling in his room. He was on his bed reading one night and the parrot began to spin on the swing. It moved slowly, at first, then, picked up speed until it was whirling very fast. After about a minute, it stopped and came to rest.

Another time, he heard someone moving around upstairs while he was alone in the house. He heard them move into the bedroom area and stop. He went upstairs but could find no one. My DH tells this one, too. Some one moves through the house when he's alone.

Their father had stories from Puerto Rico where he's from but I have yet to hear them.

Freaky! I don't think I'd want to be there alone...

kwanjin...that is sssooo odd!! Friday night I had a dream that I was at a place where there were several cats. All of the cats were having babies so I started helping one that was having difficulty giving birth. The odd thing about the dream was the kittens were all white AND I made a big deal about these white kittens. I looked at each one of them as if they were unique. Saturday my hubby and I had to go to the dump. As we were driving along I happened to looked out the window out into the field - nothing around but fields. There in the middle of the field, closer to the road but still a good distance away, was a white cat - looking straight at me. It was so surreal because there was nothing but this extremely white cat in this very large field. It really caught my attention cause I used to do that all the time - dreaming things and then the very next day things from the dream would come into play during my day. This has started happening to me again lately (some changes I have made since the events around the house lately).

I don't remember if you said this but what kind of house do you live in?

Our house was built in 1972 in a suburban area. The lady we bought the house from had a husband but he died a few years before we bought it. He did not die in the house and they never had a cat. One of their daughters divorced her husband and he moved in with the mother-in-law. He had no cat, either. The ysold the house because he was buying his own and she was moving closer to grandchildren. Very blah, very plain, no history of violence or anything.

I'm wondering now if the voice we heard was being conducted from close by through the metal in the air conditioning shaft. We have an evaporative cooler on the roof and a metal shaft that comes down into the house right where we heard the voice.

who would have been talking so that it would have been picked up throught the shaft. Are there neighbors close enough?

Sometimes sound travels in strange ways. You can get signals through the fillings in your teeth or in metal plates in your head. A metal shaft makes an excellent echo chamber. Sound travels farther on a moist days. The water in the air conducts the sounds. It was rainy the first day I heard it and cloudy the second and third.

Standing outside, I may not have heard where the sound was coming from but inside, under a sound magnefier, it could have been audible.

Then again, maybe the cat was telling to me to hurry up and feed him, for Pete's sake! LOL

lol...but when ever I have a dream about something and the next day that "something" comes into play in my daily life it usually means something. I just wonder why you came up with the subject of the white cat the day after I had the dream...maybe we are connecting in some way for some reason...lol

I also had a dream about the house I grew up in lastnight - it's been a long time since I had a dream about that. The old house had been torn down and a new home had been built in its place. I think it's trying to tell me that my dad has passes on. Also that the spirits in that house that I grew up with are now out of the house and that situation is now over. Lucky for the people that now live there.

oh yeah...I just ordered a EMF off the internet. Can't wait to get it:)

Hmmm, voices carrying that far? Were they yelling? Seems like they'd have to be on the roof! The EMF meter might help. It would be fun to have one!

KW, you could hear it if it were a radio signal. Conditions have to be perfect, though.

Oh, you mean the metal pipe could have been transmitting a radio signal...ahhh, okay, sorry, I'm a little slow today. LOL
I have heard that about tooth fillings, but I've never had the experience. Not with the titanium plate in my skull, either. That would definitely freak me out!

I worked at an adoptathon today, and lots of the doggies (and even one kitty) had on their costumes. They were so cute!

I've had bronchitis for almost 3 weeks now but it's finally getting better.

adoptathon...I miss being involved with that. I used to have several animals that I fostered. Hubby said "enough". Now I just have one little doggie - he's mine.

I've been down and out too...I have to have my neck fused on Monday so I'll be gone for awhile. I'll check in now and then...the good stories will keep me from being bored!
