LMWDBO! Now that is a new one! LOL

It is 60 now but this morning it felt really warm because the sun was out. I was walking on the patio and sidewalk and they were warm. (bare feet!) We are suppose to have a rain front come in later this afternoon also. My few orange marigolds were starting to bloom so nice along with that bush I gave Trina. It seems like it is goint to take forever to get seeds from several of my plants. Goofy weather.

Did you see what was in - Today's Articles? Plant Perennials in the Fall, Instead of the Spring. It is encouraging us to buy those cheap half-dead plants and assuring us they will be wonderful in the spring/summer. Don't tell Trina!!! because 4924 is now her total!!!! And she wanted to buy more tomorrow???!!!!

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Aloha ahiahi! Dave, and good morning to you in your neighborhood!

Do you eat any of the fruit you show us? How are those apples now, almost ripe?

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

don't tell trina what Venice?

I got those pink morning glory seeds from the neighbors vine...and that's how many seeds I had left after packaging up 100 packets of 30! Like I said I did alot of seed collecting on my walkabout!

Keaau, HI

Hi Carol!

I use as much of the fruit as I can; Being diabetic I can only eat a moderate amount of carbs. I share some with neighbors, and if the fruit gets old it goes in the chicken pen.

The Mountain Apples should be ready; I'll go check when the rain stops.

This is Philodendron verrucosum, Velvet Leaf.

It is a good way to save a little money and get a head start on plants in the spring. I thought it was fun to pick at Flowers a bit. Can't wait til she tells us how she knows....grin

Hi Dave...sounds like the addition is moving right along. At least you don't have to worry about cold weather slowing the process down.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Now THAT is a Philodendron leaf, not quite what mine look like! lol

Did we know that you have chickens?

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

you just won't leave it alone will ya moon lol. Ok sorry folks for any visual you get here but she asked. Moon I use to work for a well drilling co. and after a 12 hr.shift under ground I saw a lot of blue and purple cracks cracks come up out of that hole so "Yes I know". And------------------If you believe that I have some swamp land in the Himalayas I'll sell ya real cheap Lol. Sorry guys, the devil made me do it!!!

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

Keaau, HI

Heavy rains are the biggest obstacle to construction here.

I've known about the chickens for quite a while now!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Time for the Kid

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

wait I missed something Julie please explain

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I must admit. I was very bad to day. I bought 4 plants, 3-$1 and 1-$.77. The cheap one is he minature aster. The others are an Asiatic Lily and 2 "Tropical" plants. Who knows what they are!

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Woops! I mean to put this photo with the last post.

The tropicals are terribly root bound and they go in the house. The aster will just go in the ground, easy peasy. Now, what do I do with that Lily? Moon, maybe you can help me with that.

I am sorry, but I just couldn't resist them!!!

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Trina, what did you miss?

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Venice, what do you mean about the lilies?

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

something about paintings Julie

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

wa-ay up there I was having show & tell with Bill's collage work. Moon went to myartspace.com and searched for Bill Golba. That's DH. (free plug!)

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

LOL....ok I get it now

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

Yeah my oldest will be back home tonight at 10:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

where is everybody?

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I only have had daylillies. Do I just stick it in the ground cut it off or what?

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

ok Venice add two packages of anise hyssop seeds, 151 Lunaria annua "Money Plant" seeds, approx. 2000 double marigold seeds, 10 Lobelia cardinalis plants, 10 Alchemilla Mollis plants, and 20 carpet bugle plants to my total

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Just cut the old blooms off and plant it in a sunny location at the same depth it is planted at. when the foliage turns yellowish brown, cut it off and the plant will come back next year.

That sounds like good deals...why apologize?

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Done! I had to put your seeds/plants/cuttings on an Excel file so I can click on a total at any time.

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

lol Venice! that's too funny

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

That's not funny! I gotta do, what I gotta do!

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I really don't need any more indoor plants. I don't have windows all over my place like Trina does. And I really shouldn't be buying anything because come spring I will be need things.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I got two packages of anise hyssop seeds today also

Trina, I have a question. Did you count all those 2000 seeds???

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Those look like nice healthy lilies, Venice. Like Moon said, stick 'em in the ground. I feel like du-uh, but I always left my brown stalks on. Makes perfect sense, though. A brown, dead stalk won't do anything for the bulb.

Thanks Moon, I learned something new!

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I wish I knew what color they are. But whatever is just fine.
