Ku is a tough guy, but through fervent studying and education he learned to not be overly aggressive.

well I did alot of seed collecting today....Dave hope you got to see the picks on the NOID's if you have the answers I would be greatful!....gonna do some more walkabout tomorrow with the camera and some bags for collecting (still in town though) and saturday I'll got to Lakeland Park for native stuff....gonna go take a bath real quick and see if anyone's here when I come back.......if not than I will take my iPod and me and BB king and Eric Clapton will have a jam session

Yeah, some of the dog food on the market is crap! Ku & Kea's health noticeably got better when I started buying them better food.

Here is the Hawaiian Kukui tree, Aleurites moluccana. It was very useful in old Hawaiian horticulture. The flowers are sweetly fragrant.

The Chinese Lantern is Physalis alkekengi. There is a fruit inside the husk that contains the seeds, similar to a tomato.

The "pine tree" looks like a Spruce, Picea.

I'll have to have a closer look at some of the other noids.

trina & venice I didn't forget about your seeds. I didn't expect this week to be as crazy as it was. Dentist, dr, work, open houses, had to bake, it was flat out crazy. I have the envelopes for them just have to figure how to package them.

T.S.O., you lucky dog! I love them. One of the guys is from Rochester, hour & a half from Buffalo. He did a workshop with the music kids at the OTHER high school in Kenmore. (where we live)
