I love the silver dollar plant!
Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness...a gypsy song
What the heck is hanging from the air conditioner???
A tarp to cover the A/C in winter.....
i am from hurricane country...we can identify a tarp with our eyes closed.....LOL

The one after the pine tree looks like a redbud tree.
At 2:26, that sure is a weird pink thing!!
I be from snow country. we don't know what air conditioners look like.
those sure do look like seed pods on the hostas.
I want love lies bleeding. That's amaranthus, right? I had some in a seed packet a couple years ago, but they never got to where they draped over. It's so striking.
Plus I love the song. What an idea for a garden bed...
The pink pod is a magnolia....no idea on the ID
I forgot to comment on the Yellow Parasol mushroom. Very pretty.
thanks guys..so I have 2 magnolia trees! well hope to have...ok its all hardwood floors throughout
The living room is massive, it has a nice formal dining room with some lovely built ins
it has an eat in kitchen but it is in desperate need of an update but it is clean...the sun room in the back holds the washer and dryer cause the lady had them moved cause she said she was to old to keep going to the basement
the downstairs bedroom is nice and has a lovely built in closet...the upsairs has a lot of storage and some great built ins and its the second bedroom
It has all the original woodwork too..thank God nobody painted over it....and all the interior doors have the original hardware....They even have the key for them!
The Kitchen has an original tin ceiling...but someone painted over it!
Downsides...all the wiring needs redone...all the brick needs the paint scraped of and repainted...front porch slopes so that needs fixed...most of the windows need updated...it has a boiler with all the original radiators...but they also have the original covers too and there in great shape...but no radiator upstairs...and I get too cold for that
the A/C unit in the windows not working for me either so C/A needs to be put in along with the furnace
the front storm/screen door needs replaced as it was ripped off in a storm
and there is a TON of yardwork...no ones lived in the house for a year and the old lady stopped working on the yard and her flower beds a long time ago
one major plus the garage has a fireplace in it so I could turn that into my library...I have way more books than plants...alot of them original prints from the 1800's
sounds like you'd be a busy girl! Looks like quite a bit of land on each side of the house?
pssst pssst, is it safe? Can I come in? I promise I will try to be good. Trina I'm not talking to you, I always get you into trouble lol.
I'm on good behavior for taday flowers so its ok to talk to me
Wow, nice pictures! Good evening all won't list names. Trina house has potential like the underground basement part. If that is brick then definately would have paint removed. Moon, I'm gonna cry if one of the lillys you sent me is like the picture and I took it to the great beyound. Smilely think that pumpkin has the swine flue.
bbl gotta go get dinner!
bye Trina, carry on folks
Hi everyone
Good thing you're young trina. Been there on that house fixin. Fun for awhile then wonder "what was I thinkin" Plaster dust lasts forever!!
GS wants to play some game and I need to see about supper. Will check in later.
Moon love the lily.
Smiley sad part is we have two bathrooms, but everyone wants the shower downstairs. One of those what was I thinkin moments when I bought a 6 foot long 4 foot wide jacuzzi tub that holds 75 gal of water. Great for soaking and relaxing with a book, stinks for a quick morning bath. Why we didn't include a shower is anybodys guess.
This is my find for the day. Got this for $1.00
JJ, wow those flowers are so pretty and fresh looking. Good deal only $1 !!!
JJ, nice flowers looks like mums to me. I planted some pretty ones here as the fall would not be the same without them. Know what ya mean about big tub. I have a big round one in master bath that grandkids love but to me is useless except to store plants from outdoors in winter because of skylight overhead. I do have small tub in guest bath that I use frequently as I'm not much of a shower person.
Hi Flowers!
JJs, I can never find things on sale (( whine )) A sale price around here is 50 cents off the regular price!!
Hey Smiley, love those sales, get to try out different plants and if they don't live you haven't broke the bank. How was your day?
mine was fine, and yours? got my work done at work then had time to play a little! well, the daily stuff anyways. I have what DH calls "a Beasley project" that I'm dragging my feet on... but all in all, a good day.
Me too, got the mowing done just before the next rain moves in. I'm excited, planted grass seed last week and it was 2 inches tall today. Was getting too many bare spots so hope it spreads. Beasley project???
Comes from old TV shows when the husband would have some type of problem at work. "Oh, that darned Beasley project is driving me crazy" or "The Beasley contract is up for renewal Darren! Go out and get that Beasley account!".
DH's term for a long, involved project.
lol keep one of those going most of the time myself. My problem is I start 10 things at once and get frustrated when they aren't done in a week.
this is a bookkeeping project. I have to set up another company in our computer program. Lots of nuts & bolts to be done.
