backed in with an ugly 5 game losing streak - clay got hammered last night - although they almost came back at the end, actually thought they were going to do it for the clinch. wakefield goes tonight and hope they can close out with some wins going into anaheim.
At least the players heads are now more protected----photo of DH playing high school football with a leather helmet----and he remembers hurting his knee, & the coach rubbing hot stuff on it & sending him back in---oh, yeah---could be why there's trouble now.

Sorry to put a damper on the thread but I just wanted to pass this video along to anyone who texts while driving.
I hate a soapbox as much as anyone but this is a serious problem in this country now.
Last year in June 5 teenager who had just graduated the night before.
Were killed in a headon colission when trying to pass a truck and text friends at the same time.They lived not five miles from me.

It's illegal in this state, & should be nationally---not that it will stop anyone who is dumb enough to text while driving----I've seen it all! Still waiting ---but not eagerly----for a frost here---my pineapple sage hasn't bloomed ---it usually blooms a day before we have a frost--anyway picked off some leaves to put in a custard.

Jo Anne, I saw that commercial played on the news here recently. Yes, it really has become a problem in this country, as well as elsewhere. Did anyone here see the movie Seven Pounds with Will Smith? That was a very good movie.
