Not sure---getting senile, probably. Enid Blyton's early books were great---when I was teaching 4th grade, some of my students were reading a series by her, but not the same ones I read----the main characters were brothers-sisters---Jack & Lucy, Philip & Diane---Philip kept a hedgehog in his pocket. My own brother & sister were so much older than I, the ones in the books kept me better company.
