Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

Your GS is gross...he has one of his gerbils in a bottle and is kissing it and another one in his pocket!

(Zone 6a)

This rain has been very good for my roses especailly the big ones. The red beside the driveway is loaded with blooms that smell so nice. The minis are looking really good and the yellow one is still living

(Zone 6a)

he takes after his mother:p) The climbing blaze is doing great

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

I stopped deadheading mine....the ones in the back are blooming nicely though...oh yeah I now have Jasmine growing in the house...and I went online to Bath & Body Works and got some of that Night blooming Jasmine lotion...its your fault!

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Trina, you should see what JJ's GS did. See her post at 10:18 AM above. That makes your son not seem so bad.

(Zone 6a)

Talk to Alicia today she is doing fine. finally got the kids to plant that wire vine in the back. hope it helps that hill back ther. Next year I intend to do something with it. Put wild flower seed out this year but I think the only result was the birds had a good dinner!

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

i"m telling ya I have a boat load of those Yucca bucatta seeds.....check out plant files its awesome and at the end of each thing there is an option to add a plant to your have or want list...so you can trade plants and seeds and cuttings with other members...its awesome!

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

Hey mom check your dmail! at the top of your screen it should say you have one New mail or something like that...there is some truly awesome stuff you can do on this site!

(Zone 6a)

I will check all of it out next time I'm on, but it is very painful to set here right now. The procedure they did on Thurs wasn't much help and I'm out of pain pills so this will be a short evening for me

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

that's ok I understand...I have someone on the passiflora forum and some poor lady keeps getting ripped off...so I am going to send her some clippings of mine...they charged her $40 for one plant...that's just ridiculus

(Zone 6a)

Sweetie you are my heart & soul but I'm getting off here now and will talk to you later xoxoxo

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

ok mom love you...hope you get to feeling better soon and they figure out whats wrong

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

i cheated with the dianthus I just cut them off and put them in brown paper bags...I will sort them out tomorrow while the kids are in school...thanks Kassy for showing me how to collect the seeds

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

Hello everyone and sending a welcome to Trina's mom. Trina, I hope your feeling much better today.

jjsgramma, your grandson look's like he is having fun with that chocolate. He is a sweet looking little boy.

Lynnie, sound's like you had an eventful evening/night last night entertaining all those kid's;-) Nice salad you prepared.

smileymom, I enjoy hearing the cricket's here and I sure have to add you had better weather in your neighborhood than mine.

Venice, I have two old bromeliad "houseplant's" but nothing like Dave showed.

Jean, you got some weed's going on for sure, but what a nice stapelia..gorgeous bloom.

Dave, Nice brom's and I sure would let Kea make all the decision's on your farm as well. She just has that look to her;-)

Hope all have had a great Sunday.

Hey Rachel....good evening

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I have a question about the trade list. I haven't put anything on it. But when I look at other people's lists, some of them are dated even last year. Does that me they still want it? Do they remove an item when they receive it?

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

I remove it if I got what I wanted and I update what I have on a regular basis...I don't know about others

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

alright gonna go watch a scary movie with the hubby...later

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I am going also, no scarry movie though!

'Night everyone. Sweet sleeping!

Keaau, HI

Gorgeous Bamboo Dave.

Good night venice and Trina enjoy that horror movie.

(Zone 5b)

Moon will like that one Dave! Very nice.
Rachel sorry I missed you...I was asleep early lol

Morning everybody! Smiley, time to get up!

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

I'm up! I'm up! LOL Lynnie, I was just going to see if you were up...

Welcome Mom2, we are the early birds.

Good Morning everyone else!

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

my brug "Y"d again. I'm confused. Think I'll just bring the whole thing in the basement when it's time.

Too... much... information.......

(Zone 5b)

I don't have brugs...they sound difficult.

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

my MIL bought them from QVC. Knowing how to overwinter is the difficult part for me. I just water them. A lot.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Julie, If you are putting it in the basement, then all it will need is enough water to keep it from dying....just when the soil is dry. On the brug forum they talk about digging them up and stacking them bare root in the basement for the winter.

Lynnie, they aren't that hard to grow, they just need a bit of attention....morning sun, protection from the hottest part of the day (light shade), regular weekly feedings as they are big eaters, and consistently moist, not wet, soil.

Ach, where are my manners? Good Morning Ladies, grin.

Yep, LOVE the bamboo, Dave...noticed you weren't interested in receiving any of my weed seeds....GRIN.

50% chance of showers this afternoon...gonna row on out to the yard and see if I can get something accomplished before it starts again.....row row row your both gently through the yard....grin

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Morning all
Don't work to hard today Lynnie need to rest uo from the weekend. : )

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Good morning Moon & JJs!

Moon, that's what I was going to do with my brug. Rather than take cuttings... that part is too confusing. I've been to the brug forum. Brug people get very into it, cross-pollinating, etc..

I think your rain is coming this way!! 22 days without rain, almost a record for Buffalo.

Trina, heard your song this AM - rock the boat. I guess that could be Moon's song today.

Have a great day everyone.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Guess I will never be a serious gardener...Nature takes its course with great frequency in my garden....obviously...grin. It is all strictly for pleasure (weeding excluded). If it ever gets to the point where it takes over my life, it will be dug up and given away and DHJim can just start cutting grass with much greater frequency....I will go back to a handful of pretties in pots....lol (first dibs to gypsies....grin)
