Louise you are needed over on the Runza thread over int he recipe forum. A few posts up from the bottom has a question youmight be able to answer.
Thought for the Day: (Part Deaux)
You all are in rare form today! Is it because it's Wednesday?
Marie, yours is so true, I was thinking it was a guy thing, then I saw a woman touch the wet paint! LOL!
DP, those are the best ones, the ones that were handed down by our folks.
weegy & marie, do you all know any of the "If Wishes were?" series?
Like, "If wishes were fishes, we'd all cast nets!"
or, "If wishes were horses, we'd all ride!"
Can't remember anymore off hand but I like collecting them. : - )
Almost as much as I like to make people smile.
Walk In Beauty!

One more, thanks to wcgypsy for bringing it to mind.
The only thing that is constant is change. (Not the coin kind)
WIB,

I don't SW, but I 'm sure I can find some.
Marie, I went to the Runza thread and hope I helped.
Thanks weegy :o)
SW I tried googling the I wishes but all I came up with is what you have already written.
Found one...
“My wish isn't to mean everything to everyone but something to someone.”
Good one weegy.
I am going to start making up my own "If Wishes". Feel free to join me. LOL!

Good morning!!! Here we go again.
Thursday Thought for the Day:
The President, Congressmen, and Senators keep taking these taxpayer funded trips abroad. I don't mind sending them but they keep coming back!
I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose. ~Woody Allen & Marie :o)
Nothing worse than milk or soda coming out of your nose :o)
Marie,
My BFF's Dad used to do that when I'd come over for dinner with them. He'd wait til I took a drink and then crack a joke. I spewed milk all over! He did it on purpose and he thought it was so funny! I was always so embarrassed. Soda is much worse than milk, it fizzes. LOL!
You'd think DP, with as much as we spend to send them there, we'd quit giving them return tickets.
Here is one that my Dad used to have posted in the kitchen. (I never could figure out why?!)
Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Don't know who said it first.

Love that quote, SW, so I had to look it up. http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/288200.html
Way cool KC!
I remember now why Dad had it up.
Absolute power corrupts absolutly.
It was to see if any one noticed it was misspelled. It used to drive me nuts! Prolly why he did it! LOL!

"Just living is not enough,' said the butterfly. 'One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.'"
Hans Christian Andersen
I really like that one Angie. Now I'm gonna have to search a little more before I add one for Friday....
For those of us who have the traditional two weekend days off.....YIPPEE!!!! The weekend's here!!!!
Friday Thought for the Day.
Only Robinson Crusoe had everything done by Friday.
One of my favorites
Earth laughs in flowers. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
If dandelions were hard to grow, they would be most welcome on any lawn.
Oh Marie, I have a garden sign that says that! I didn't know who said it though. Thanks for the smile, the food for my inner child and the author. : - )
DP, my DH just gave me that look. Like why is she laughing like a hyena? Good one! I need a Friday!
: - 0
I had a special one all saved up, and now I went and forgot it. Will post it when I remember it. : - )
BTW, I think Dandelions are flowers not weeds, rub one under your chin or better yet your kids chin, and the pollen will turn the chin yellow. So much fun, especially if they aren't wise to the trick yet. LOL!

LOL SW that is my favorite saying and I often think of it when my yard is particularly colorful with blooms.
I love dandelions and I keep trying to grow them ( Yes I purposely planted them) but I killed them.
An unwatched pot boils immediately.
Not the one I still can't remember, but marie's previous post brought it to mind. (Will save seed from Giant Dandelion for you!)
The phone never rings until you go to the bathroom.
Can we post limericks here too? I got one stuck on my brain and want to infect others. LMK. : - )
WIB,
SW
You can post anything you've "Thought" about here Jules.
Gotta work at home today. My own beds look like a weed patch.
Saturday Thought for the Day:
Middle age is when you're sitting at home on a Saturday night and the telephone rings and you hope it isn't for you.
GOOD ONE !!!
LOL---that is SOOOO me!
Age is a very high price to pay for maturity. (Tom Stoppard )
After thirty, a body has a mind of its own. (Bette Midler )
One from my sister when she lived in Kodiak
Don't know who said it first.
Eat, Drink and be Merry, for tomorrow you may die.
Dangerous fishing in them waters.
Okay, limerick stuck in brain goes,
Little Willie was a Chemist,
Little Willie is no more,
For what he thought was H20,
Was H2SO4.
Thanks, I feel better now. LOL!

If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?
I ran across a quote attributed to Oscar Wilde. It could be words to live everyday by.
Monday Thought for the Day:
Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring.
May you live as long as you want,
And never want as long as you live.
There are no great things, only small things with great love. Mother Theresa
This one was in our Sunday bulletin at church yesterday. Made me pause and think, which was the idea, I'm sure.

Angie
Very well said. Thanks for sharing Angie..

Found a small pillow today that is going to be put in my garden swing. "Plant some happiness in life's garden".
Good morning all.
Tuesday Thought for the Day: (inspired by Angie's submission)
Don't be fooled by the calendar. There are only as many days in the year as you make use of.
Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower. ~Hans Christian Anderson
Remember that your children are not your own, but are lent to you by the creator.
