I'll take another look at it, it's an interesting concept...
I have red wine....who wants a glass?
Hey where has Jim been I was wondering how his cousin is...

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

No, JJs it gets too cold for them. need to keep the winter temps around 40 and no frost. They winter in a cool greenhouse. Haven't quite figured out how the male mind works...life could be so easy if they just paid attention....lol better bring a frying pan, JJs were are working with an open fire here....grin

(Zone 5b)

she can put it on a stick hahaha
Moon where IS the sorrow thread?

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

No thanks Lynnie

Margarita??

(Zone 5b)

icy cold 'ritas? sounds refreshing

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Forgot we were cooking on open fire, was having a male moment I guess.(not paying attention)

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Think Jim has been busy with his garden and visitation...hadn't heard anymore since he said no internal bleeding. Know there was a lot he was working on.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Better make mine a double!!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

I will certainly take ya up on a Margarita...on the rocks easy salt. please

.The sorrow thread is on Beg landscaping...I was trying to get a discussion started on the last thread, but sorta went by the wayside.

Burger on a stick....nothing if not inventive...

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Maybe I'll catch you all later.
Got a couple things to do before supper.

Have a nice evening all

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Glenview, IL

Yep, Burgers too, we can always throw a grate on, Cheese?

yay, m'ritas! It's miller time for me, haha...jjgramma, uh how come your name isn't jj's grampa? or am i confused/

We had a hawk, at least I think it was one, sitting on a wire in my yard, always see them far away so it resting in my yard was pretty cool.
Got a picture of it somewhere. Well at least I think it's a hawk.

(Zone 5b)

well why dirty up a pan, I sure don't want to see another dirty dish lol

so here's what I'm tempted to buy tomorrow...a Colorado blue spruce, the caryopteris, a cement garden bench and shoot what the heck was I out there looking for in the first place? Oh yeah a bigger pot for the rhamnus shrubs (I have one, I need one more, it occurred to me if I buy another tree & plant it, presto, I'll have a big pot...good logic huh?)

(Zone 5b)

Hi Seedtosser..tell us the story!

JJ don't you make a whole 1.50 an hour? ;)

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Hi Trina...I got called away...I only have a few minutes now, but theyr'e all yours lol

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Moon you're gonna get grounded ya keep forgetting that homework. Least you found out tonight I would have found out about 5 min. before the bus got here.

DH has major fire going on out back too and I have no graham crackers!

(Zone 5b)

lol JJ we cross posted..isn't it funny you have no idea of whether you're talking to a male or female & then you find it's the opposite of what you thought?

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

or is it????

(Zone 5b)

I think Seedtosser ran out & ate all the s'mores without us...

(Zone 5b)

right, sometimes you're right

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

And drank all the Millers.

I can not believe my lilacs are blooming, shouldn'tthey be going dormant??

(Zone 5b)

I'm mean. Tell my kids I passed elementary school, it's their homework. I'll remind them a couple of times, help if they get stuck, that's it.

(Zone 5b)

shoot I think so JJ! I was shocked to find one azalea out of 5 re-blooming, but I guess the kind I have do that...I had no idea...what kind of lilacs do you have?

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

But it is funny, I thought PJ from Japan was female for long time.

Hello everyone and sending seedtosser an extra hardy welcome. Seed, do you have a campfire going right now? Sound's like you may be having a blast in your neighborhood tonight;-)

Jean, I really enjoyed viewing your picture's of your plant's. I need to go read the link you added concerning your "passion vine".

Lynnie you know better than to ask me that. They are just the plain old purple ones.

JJsgramma, do you have what is called the Old Fashion type of lilac's? Those bloom's get much larger than some Hybrid's grown now day's.

Edit, because I mispelled "called" Ha

Pretty Rachel.
How's come I'm the only one with plain everyday named flowers??

(Zone 5b)

hi Rachel! very pretty, even if passionflowers creep me out just a little bit (I know, I know, I'm a city girl, what can I say??)

JJ maybe you can post a pic of them & we'll see if they're a fancy cultivar that reblooms.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Yes Rachel I think they are. They get big flowers and smell good.
I don't buy to many hybrids, they don't make it to the clearance rack...

(Zone 5b)

tic tic tic....my time is almost up....what was that a whole 10 minutes....ack...at least I'm off tomorrow....

Hi Lynnie, The old fashion type lilac's only bloom in early Spring but there are some hybrid's that are suppose to re-bloom again....I think in late Summer/Fall.

(Zone 5b)

Rachel we translated lol we know how it is when your fingers can't keep up with your mind.
