new thread guys
Gypsies & Rebels Bloom where you are planted
old thread was getting long even for us wi-fi users
Dave's making me twiterpated with plant pics
Kassy when do you head home again?
Dave, that last agave was huge!
trina, I head back tonight after we eat and I pack the car. About an hours drive or a little more. Then I unpack the car and get on messenger so my BF knows I made it home OK.
Then I have tonight and tomorrow night off, and then back to work the next night.
I better go collect some more pink peony poppy seeds. I just got another request for them.
And I have to check on any other seeds to see if they are ready to be collected, and check to see what the grapes look like.
The grapes are smaller this year then normal, probably due to the lack or rain this year. :-(
Hubby just came in and told me about a piece of property for sale here in town I might be interested in....rental income perhaps....yard big enough for my fruit trees! and my greenhouse/conservatory thingy so I can have some more plants here in town, and get out of the house sometimes
I forgot who has all the dianthus (from the other thread). And what colors? I have red, white and pink, are there any more colors? or variations thereof? Around here the nurseries only carry those.
ok Dave I replanted the agave...does the same go for the monja...bigger pot grow faster?
Wow maybe I not up to repotting just yet...1 plant and I need a nap
Wow! Just look at that thing!
Great now I'm drooling and twitterpating because of Dave
Trina, I guess you can't nap when you look at something like that!
No I can't! Dave's a big tease!...LOL
I repotted the fire ranch aloe too and guess what....I got babies!!!!
and my sons aloe so he quits whining about it...good thing I did too cause it was pushing 3 babies out of its 4" pot
Trina, the purple clover looking plant is Oxalis triangularis, the other is also oxalis, possibly red wood sorrel
I just know for my area if I want to keep them I have to dig them up in fall...I only planted 10 this spring and now I have over a hundred bulbs of the green ones. but they sure do look neat out there when they bloom
What kind of bulbs are you talking about?
Codiaeum varieagatum 'Luna Batik' is the name of your croton
Thanks Moon
Shamrocks Venice, shamrock bulbs...want some...either keep in a pot or dig them up every fall
Didn't know they have bulbs.
I have some -- bronze dutch clover, trifolium repens 'atropurpureum'. It is kind of similar but it is a perennial of tiny 3 & 4 leaf clovers. I have it under my gate in that very tiny rock garden.
my husband keeps the oxalis as houseplants. he won't even let me take any of them outside during the summer. can't imagine what they would look like if I did. he's the inside guy, i'm the outside guy.
Get your flower bed ready Venice, they are on their way.
Now if I can get mine planted. Even sent a surprise!
Sorry, Trina, the one with the purple center is oxalis Iron cross.

JJ's surprises are awesome venice...she definately pays attention to what we say we like...she's either taking notes or has a memory like an elephant!
Don't get me wrong I like them they just multiply rapidly! But in my area our winters are too cold and they just die
Trina, see if this helps.

What just dies there? What zone are you in?
iron cross...got it...I don't know what I'd do without you!
can impatiens and begonias be grown in the house?
zone 5...don't ask me if its a or b
I keep looking for seeds from the impatiens. I just don't see a thing!
Trina, what just dies there? I am in zone 5b.
JJ, isn't that the same plant that Trina has?
my shamrocks...cause I don't have any place that is protected at all
JJs, that sure looks like an Aster.
Homework time....yea! I hate Algebra 2....can never remember the darn formulas.....and hate trying to explain why Alg 2 is necessary in everyday life.....Grin
A hui hou...Moon
I am not too thrilled about digging up all those Blackie tubers. You have some too Trina, don't you?
