well, I've done all the damage I can do on the iris sale. had to stay up for round 2. on my way to bed now. sweet dreams sweet sisters.

Body temp reads 100 an hour ago, and I hope I break fever with more Tylenol.

Also I am going to talk to the owner about me putting out flyers to build up the buisness a bit but so far he has been reluctant to allow me to do so..

Yayyyy! I broke fever!
I knew something is wrong with me when I had no appetite at my favorite Chinese buffet bar last night. I ignored the roast duck, black bean mussels and just settled for a plate of stir fried noodles with beansprouts :( I was sick!!!!

Not ready to tackle the tote yet, LK. Maybe tonight. Seems that Barb has finished hers! She's truly a super achiever!!

Donna, why wouldn't the owner try to increase business? Maybe his pocket book isn't hurt by the slow sales, but yours is. Hmmm.. I'd worry too and try looking for something else.

Crissy, how are you faring along with the birdhouse? Kel's through with the construction. Just need the trims.

Time to clean up, feed the kitties, find some lunch. Oh yeah, feeling the appetite coming back.

The BBB house is coming along, but the stuff I put on it isn't sticking, so I'm thinking about waiting til all of this rain is past and Friday evening I'll spray some stuff on it that will hopefully keep everything in tack for shipping. We'll see what I can come up with.

Sounds silly, I know, but my DH of Canadian descent (born in Perth ON, almost 60 yrs ago!) is finally going to be recognized as a Canadian citizen, in Alberta LOL
He can't get his Alberta Health card until he can prove he's a Canadian citizen!!!
He was born & baptized in Perth, moved to the east coast when he was young, and that's where he got his Social Insurance Number and card.
The card disintigrated, and he got another one. That one got stolen in Manitoba, just before we met, and he never replaced it. He has his Manitoba Health card, and his Manitoba driver's licence, but Alberta doesn't recognize it as enough ID.
He needs someone with a professional designation to be a witness to knowing him for at least 2 years (College dean, Dr, Pastor, or some such). Even

I used to take them like popcorn when I was working. Maybe that's why I have premature liver spots? Nope.. that's not it.. I'm past 50 :D

Just because it doesn't contain 'aspirin' or whatever doesn't mean it can't harm you. Any type of pill or shot or anything can do harm.

my Morning sisters! got up at 12:30! still not active yet.

on the iris sale yesterday I got some great prices and great irises, but 4 I wanted most I didnt' get. Bummer. most of these were hybridized within the last 8 years, so they are mostly more expensive ones.

ah! yes. I had a "not properly functioning kidneys" come back on a life insurance test about 13 years ago. found out taking too much Tylenol and it was mostly my liver and kidneys both. And NEVER take it with alcohol, especially not wine, as that was what I was doing to get to sleep, a tylenol pm and wine. VERY BAD for you.

now they have ads on TV saying "we'd rather you didn't take our product if you're going to take to many." Ibuprofen and aspirin tend to not be taken too much because of it upsetting your tummy, but they can do the same. However, I'm on 800mg of ibuprofen - prescription. have to be careful to eat with that pill.

glad your fever broke , Jaye, get to feeling better. Did I pass that nasty sinus infection bug around on here? SORRY

I do think it's a bad sinus infection. Eyes throbbing, sinus areas sore, and frontal headache. Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhh.

did ya "pettipot" yet, Jaye?? it worked many wonders for me. but my doc keeps telling me, if it's a sinus infection on me, it takes an antibiotic to get it out of me. just keep that in mind, Please>

Do the sinus rinse and vinegar. Broke up whatever's build up in the sinus cavities. Just need that antibiotics I guess.

My DH doesn't like to go to the doctor either, but he has an appointment up in Seattle that mom is taking him to. I'm so glad our finical aid came through so DH might actually be able to get rid of some of the pain in his back.

OH MY Gosh Here I am and what a story I have for you guys. I have ben in the Hospital scents last Friday nite and just got out today
Fist let me say my cell phone got wet in the rain a few weeks ago and I haven't been able to put any numbers in my new phone so that is why no one has heard from me.
Than last friday I got sicker than a dog had to throw up on the side of the road were we were working than they took me back to my truck
it was 89 out and I had the chills and goose bumps all overI came home I layed down and than I started to get VERY BAD pains under my right breast I tossed and truned and I got up and called 911 they took me to the hospital and they told me I had phnamona ( I wish I could sell that) so They started to do tests on me and found out that I aso had the start of effazima ( Boy I hope you get my drift)
So Now as Of friday at 4:30 I have not had a cigerate and I need to stop and whee a mask when Iwork because of the fumes' So time soon I will need a pullmanairy test for my lungs.
I also gt my bird house and now I must go over there and tell the person I did get it. I feel ok tired but I will be home till Monday

I never thought about you and fumes outside when you are working. I guess that would be a long term problem. Take care of yourself. Quitting the cigs. is a start. You need to take care of yourself from here on.

The Chemistry Doc at work keeps telling me I should be taking Vitamin D (miracle vitamin they say - they went to a Pathology conference in Seattle last fall, and it's better than C or E.......) 2000 IU's per day if you're pregnant, poor health or over 50. 1000 IU's if you're young and in the "pink".
Apparently 20% of deaths would be lessened if people took their Vitamin D. People in countries with lessened sunlight (North America) need it more than people in high sunlight countries (Africa).

Ya, Jaye - Bob will be "legal" but he just needs to get the paper signed and stamped, then he can get his birth cert. With that, he gets his SIN card (Gov't ID card) and then can get a passport. There's no swearing in or anything. They just won't look up his birth cert until he "proves" they can. Simply put - that's all it is. He currently doesn't have the authority to ask for his birth cert.

Kim - those are both terribly hard on your lungs. I'm really pleased you quit smoking!! I did, about 8 years ago, and haven't looked back! My DH did, about 7 years ago, and now he can't stand the smell lol Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!

Had dinner at a wonderful little seafood place here in town. We had a gift certificate from our Indoor Trainer group. This place is wonderful, no fancy decor, just very very good (and expensive) food. We had a wonderful salad, Steamer Clams and home made dinner rolls.

Looky what I have blooming this morning! She is NOID, but just a pertty! Looks like she may turn orange? This is the one that bloomed about a month ago, but was a tiny yellow bloom in the heat. Now that it has cooled off, she is about to show off. There are more buds on the plant too! ^_^

Wow Flaming Kim that's bad stuff. I'm glad you're alright and so glad you've quit smoking, the first two weeks are the hardest. I wish Dave would quit, but he only smokes a half pack a day at the most and never in the house, and I can't ever smell it on his clothes, so it's not a big deal really.

Well I'm going to be busy again today for the rest of my life so I'll see ya'll later. I've had drainage and felt like I'm drowning all morning and hope I'm not coming down with something again.

wow what a great night's sleep can you for ya! yes, I'm just getting up. lazy me. stayed up til past 11 trying to get an email that still hasn't come in.

looks like we're coming up on 4 days of rain, think lovelyiris down in TX sent it our way. not raining now - I'm best get out there and pull some weeds while their roots can't hold onto the wet clay.

Well ladies it is "On the road again" for me!! Today is the first meeting of the planning committee for the 2010 festival so I will be leaving in the next couple of hours to head south. Once again it is select the "theme" time and that could make for a long meeting--then it could be short. Depends on the suggestions--what and how many.

Will check back in when I return home sometime on Friday or maybe Saturday. That also depends on what I decide to do while I am in Gainesville--visiting friends you know.

LOL Oh I Love You guys!!! To worry about me like that makes me smile. Yesterday was fun. If you call riding in an 18 wheeler hauling dirt from one place to another fun, lol. It's been a long time since I've seen the inside of an rig. Steve's is really nice, gosh a person could actually live in it. Anyhow in between haul there was a little smooching (man he has the softest lips and sweet kisses) and holding hands while driving down the road. He even put my hand on the gear shift just so he could hold it, lol. He asked me if I wanted to drive. I had a permit once, but the trucks that I was learning to drive were always breaking down so I never got my license. So after work we parked the truck got some snackins and drinks and sat on the river bank just getting to know each other. Of course he kept me laughing with his jokes. I swear I'm going to have to get some Depends, lol. We are planning a camping and fishing trip soon. But not for awhile I need to stick close to home. Today I have to pick up my granddaughter. My SIL is spending as much time as he can with his mom, she is going real fast. I'm so affaid of how this is going to affect my granddaughter because last Firday her kitty got hurt and they had to put her to sleep. Taylor had a bad day Sunday she kept crying, my daughter told her "Taylor quit being so dramatic" Taylor says "Mama, I just don't know how I can go on without my kitty" Oh Lord, funny but then not.

Well, I've got many things to get done today. I've got to get my Mantis tiller tuned up I have 150 daffodil bulbs coming from Brecks, plus 80 something that I ordered from bleeks co-op. So I will chat with you all later.
