I was busy writing my Poem for the Brug Contest. It's posted
Are you due more rain Cue

Monticello, KY(Zone 6b)

I'm off for the night it's dark now so I just might manage to fall asleep.
Be back sometime tomorrow.

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

Checking in. Rain stopped for now so been in the garden digging in compost - lol.

Welcome, tubbytee! Feel free to jump in and give us guff whenever you please! Hope you're better soon. Let us know when you finish with those chemo treatments and what we can do to get you some more goodies for your gardens. We love to share and help people out!

Sundance, WY(Zone 3b)

Arghh! Can't find any blackberry plants hardy here. DRATS! But I'll keep looking!

Thanks for the new link Cue! Hope everyone had a good day.

Busy here. Met a DGer this am. She was traveling to visit family and stayed in the area. I met her early and we had a nice visit. She had awesome pics of her tropical garden. We traded goodies. :) Gilda will enjoy meeting everyone. Where is Gilda? Did I miss her?

WOW Skellogg, that's a bummer. We have Dewberries (blackberries) that come up volunteer and they are sweeter and more plump than the regular blackberries and bear fruit sooner, too. Then my thornless ones are a lot like the dewberries, big plump and sweeter than the others. Man, I couldn't imagine being without berries. I have red raspberries too, and Strawberries. Thinking about finding some black raspberries, and gold ones. My husband just last week informed me after 16 years of marriage that he likes blueberries. (I never knew.) I went and bought him some dried blueberries to munch on and I guess I'll have to go buy him a bush, so he will have berries next year. I'm really not sure I'd like a zone where these were not hardy.

I missed her too, Seray.

Did your guardians come up Mekos?

I do believe I have a couple sprouts pointing up. Tiny points sticking up. I'm holding my breath that I don't kill them with too much water. But yes, I do believe so.

Sorry, I forgot the picture.

MY beautiful little Epiphyllum is standing watch over them, waiting for them to grow bigger.

Loca, my little orchid trees.

Coral colored touch me not, anyone?

There they are, the little devils (pun intended). Very nice. Maybe all should have devils to watch over their Goddess!?! :)

Here's a bromeliad that is blessing me with blooms.

Or maybe the lotus parrot's beak vines.

WOW SERAY! real beauty.

Washington, IN(Zone 6a)

Oh I am here as always LOL

Very Nice Mekos Your parrots beak is looking good. I heard back about the white one. The nursery in Houston is going to check on it for us. They don't have any now. Know anyone in Houston?

Hi Flower

Hi flower. Guess you are tired. You worked a lot today too.
Seray,Don't know anyone there. Sorry.

We'll have to work on it. If they find a white one for you they don't ship. :)

I'm off to catch up on chores. Have a nice night. Love the touch me nots Mekos!

Sundance, WY(Zone 3b)

WooHoo, Mekos! Good job with the babies! Still going to keep looking for the blackberries. We can grow strawberries, service berries, thimble berries, raspberries, chokecherries, goose berries, and we actually have 3 plum trees in our yard that produce little wild type plums, but just not blackberries. Blue berries grow here too, just not native, like the rest. But I love to zone push, so might try some anyway! If I put them between the raspberries, they might do OK. LOL!

Washington, IN(Zone 6a)

sk, if you can grow raspberries you can grow blackberries. There isn't any different requirements for them than there is for raspberries.

Hey you guys, I need some info. I have several coral bells- huechero plants. Do they ever bloom or just a colorful plant? (I think just a plant, but not sure.) Anyone?

Good night everyone. Think I'm going to turn in for the night. I'm beat. Mindy wore me out with her day today. I need the rest. This is like the work out videos. I bought a "Sweating to the Oldies," video and lost 5 lbs. just watching it. Never did participate, too much work.

Sundance, WY(Zone 3b)

Flower, really? Cool! I can find raspberries that are supposed to be hardy in zone 4, but not blackberries. That does it! I'm going to plant some blackberries too. Woohoo! We have wild raspberries here, and they are dee-lish! Never have found any blackberries tho, in the wild. Bummer! Bet they would be really good too!

Sundance, WY(Zone 3b)

ROTFL! Too funny, mekos! I'm going to have to try that! Maybe I can lose a couple of inches off my waistline! LOL! Have a great evening.

Well, if you don't find any by fall, I'll send ya some to try. If they live, you can get more. Or I can send you some berries and you can plant you some.

Sundance, WY(Zone 3b)

Oh, no, don't send the berries. Way to big a temptation! I'd just want to eat them! LOL! Thanks!

Washington, IN(Zone 6a)

mekos the coral bells will bloom but nothing really outstanding that I can see. I have about 5 different ones and they have all bloomed this year except for the little ones and they had a few blooms, I think they are really more of a foliage plant IMHO.

Nite all had a hard day and am tired.

Middleton, TN(Zone 7a)

Hi guys, I know it's late... just got home wanted to check in, found the new thread. Drove to Nashville & back helping my sis in law move.. wanted to say hi though, see you in the am.. Flower if you have any more lily bulbs, I would love some. I am going to dig one up tomorrow- one of the Tiger Lilies.. I have 4, just wanna see what they look like.. he he nite e1

Sundance, WY(Zone 3b)

Nite Mechelle. Glad moving went Ok. Tough job under good circumstances, and it is great that you are helping. I hate moving, just have too much stuff, I guess! Have a good evening.

Sundance, WY(Zone 3b)

Good morning all! Mekos, I have one in bloom now, I think. I can take a picture for you if you want, but they really aren't much. I only have 1 kind, and it puts out little white flowers, but some of the other varieties do have pink flowers instead, still not much to look at tho.

Hornell, NY(Zone 5a)

Morning Gang - beautiful clear sunny day here. Got the plane prepped yesterday, going to fly out to Manchester today to meet daughter's family at the airport for a picnic at a local park. Looks like it's a great weather day for flying.

Enjoy the weekend!
