Hello Everyone!

Well I'm sitting here in Tubby's hospital room. When I got home from work last night, he was hot and very weak. I took his blood pressure and it was very low and he had a temp., so I brought him in to the ER. They did labs, chest xray,and started fluids running. They finally decided about 11:30 PM that they would admit him for more fluids, test and to start some IV antibiotics.

I'm happy to say his B/P is coming up and he is feeling better. The Doc's were in today. The Oncology Dr. is thinking he may have to go to UNMC at Omaha and have some test on his Mitral valve. They can't seem to find where the infection is coming from. We'll just take it a day at a time and see what they figure out. I know Tubby isn't happy about being here, but if that what it takes to get him better, so be it.

Well, that's about all I know for now. We will check in with you all again. Hope all is well and life if good for all & wish all happiness and good health.

Shirley I have been wondering where ya'll have been. I hope they find out where that stupid infection is coming from and get rid of it now! I am adding you and Tubby into my nightly prayers.

Crissy, thank you. I go back to the doctors Monday morning. I wil hopefully have some news then. But, I am doing better and getting things under control.

Now if I could get the kids under control. This is soooo out of hand, had a meeting in the Deans office yesterday with the college kid. I just don't know how kids can be so mean. (others not mine) as old roommate literally aimed a car at DD while she was walking down the road to a dorm.

Well I had an anxiety attack this morning and drove 70 mile an hr to go get cigs. I smoked half of one. I am surprised to have an attack but surgery is coming up and I think too much and work too hard and have been having sweating spells and hot flashes. Can't wait to get it over with. Praying for all. BEV

awwwww Bev - keep trying. They say it takes 3 weeks to make something a habit, and you can make a habit of not smoking.
I know.... I quit 8 years ago, and I couldn't pick up a cigarette now without feeling ill. I can't even look at a dirty ashtray ewwwwwwwwwww I keep picturing my mouth looking like that (blech!).

I guess this is my version of Aversion Therapy lol And I'm not a Dr., just know I couldn't go back to that "S" word lol

Liz - I think I typed this and it got lost....but we went through the whole social worker being called on us...when DH & I first got married. Of course it was DH's crazy Ex. They would come by and everything fine. But the problem is...they close every case every time someone calls. So when she called again..they had to send someone again...Of course everything fine again. There go our tax payer dollars ...plus their valuable time....

Hopefully the SW is sensible and will realize what's going on.....

And yes - I am busy with my "last year in the WHS Band".... LOL.....I was pleased as punch....we have finally filled up the football stands. Still a small band ....but at 35 Students....about 65% larger than when I started the Band Booster Club....2 years ago...

I'll try to send a picture....had some difficulties with digital camera at the game....

Judy - we lost....but it was 43-41....so a REALLY good time....BUT the Band had the BEST half time show ever.

Betty - how sweet you are....a Good Deed....Kyle is learning wonderful things as always from you.... I hope you are doing well !

Morning all, up since 5 cleaning from the party, everything went well, all enjoyed so you can't ask for better than that..

Shirley, Tubby and you have been in my prayers daily! You must be frantic..know I've been praying daily for his well being and that I continue praying..pass on a hug to him for me will you and PLEASE tell him to have patience, they'll soon find out what is causing the infection and he'll be back giving us our morning break, playing in the gardens and being that charming hubby that I just know he is to you..quite a compasionate man..

Bev, you've done well to date with the no smoking but nerves worrying over health issues is sure to have been the cause of wearing you down...head up/smile and say 'I'm back on my mission of no smoking'...how is Scotty doing..I can just remember him sitting on the verandah, sweet as can be seeing the love he had for you, beaming from ear to ear...you are indeed a lucky lady! pass on a hug for me will you...

Liz, I also am looking forward to seeing Kenny's tinman..I was on the internet the other day and there was a project making a santa with a towel and I burst out laughing, visualizing Kenny's antics...

Bev, it's been 22 days here without rain, weatherman says rain all week..this has been an odd summer, first time for many years that there hasn't been a water restriction in our region but if things were to continue I'm sure it would be posted...


Judy & Mary, how exciting it must be attending games in which your children are participating...Jeff couldn't attend the party yesterday because between Caleb and Braedon there was 5 hockey games scheduled..takes over life doesn't it...

Judy, did deliver the table/chair set..a bit disappointed..party was at 1:00pm got there at 12:45..some were setting up as it was in a local park near the waterfront..sat till 1:30 and the mom and tot had not yet arrived and with my event starting at 2:00pm and having some already at the house I had to leave..so not sure if Arianna was frightened by the bear and rabbit..hope not...

As for the door/windows, I'm thrilled..they will come back on Thursday to do the trim, put the basement den door in, washroom door in and then all new doors throughout the house, outside as well so yep..I'm a happy camper..true to form I've already a list for 2010..I've accomplished 2009 so time to get exciting for next year...

Betty I'm so glad your party went well! Hockey and more hockey, and how sweet about the good deed! Yesterday was our 11th day in a row with rain and no sun. Today we have sun and I'm stuck inside cleaning house! Yuk!

I'm getting there. Got my buddy too! Had to order a bbb house online, with all of this rain and needing to work on the bbb house outside I just ran out of time. Oh Well, kinda want to keep my first on-my-own craft project anyway, but really would have liked to send it at the same time.

That's crazy that mom and tot weren't at the party yet! Shouldn't they have been the first ones there?

I've got to get in the shower, been cleaning house all day and all I can say about last night is had a great time with Dave but he better not ever complain and nag at me about the price I pay for a good thick T-bone steak ever again, dang he can be selfish!

I bought this wreath a couple weeks ago to add color to the house. Got it home and realized it has entirely too much red and I paid way too much money for it, kinda disgusted at myself about that.

I didn't learn anything today. I have cabin fever because of rain for a week and this week doesn't look any better. We have flooding in the valleys. I once rode down Main Street in the little town of Rosman in a canoe.
