been busy, dragging out halloween bins almost time!
today is suppose to be that dreaded staff meeting with the district manager.
hope it dosnt turn into a cat fight, cant stand drama!!!! never could figure out why everyone has to be punished when its only one employee causing everyone greif.

then dh has a co worker he has become friends with so he asked us to dinner to meet his girlfriend omg! we were asked not to say certain words an that when his girlfriend says things it seems like she is being completly rude but that is just the way she comes across not to take offence...
now this should be a riot me not giving a look lol
i told dh now how can i sit in the back row and observe when im forced to be in the frount? he said i know i was thinking the same thing lol

susan thank you for saying what you did, im feeling better about the situation i finally got her to tell me about the lady, she said that all she wanted to know was if she needed help with shopping banking or cleanning my granny said no i have family that does this and besides look at my house its clean i do just fine.
so the lady looked around and said you have a nice house left her a few papers and left, so hopefully she is satisfied with what she seen.

Liz those situations.... What do you do except just go and get it over with. Maybe she's not that bad, and it's nice to have a friend at work, I don't have one because I've distanced myself, too much negative drama and too many hens in the hen house.

Still dealing with college teen drama...and it is draining. Thankfully DH took care of some issues for me today or I think I would have blown my top. NOT enough chocolate in this house to handle it.

Tubby, how are you feeling? Prayers continue for you to feel better....and you do lots...you make each of us smile every day....and these days..we need it. You will get back to being "productive" like you want....very soon.

I have told my granddaughters that when they get married they need to train their husband to be fair. They will both work, so they both need to share chores. The husbands may not have been made to do housework growing up and those are the toughest one. And for crying out loud, don't start the marriage by fetching for them because you are so in luv that you can't do enough for them. It is never reciprocated and only spoils them.
Men don't realize that all the cleaning and garbage detail is to prevent disease, allergies, and food poisoning.
My husband actually saw his aunt milk a cow and then the cow stepped in the bucket. She strained the milk and brought it in the house. Of course, everyone who drank some got sick.

Me and Dave have been married 3 1/2 years together almost 6 years and we've always share chores. The way it works now is I work days, he works swing (got off of graveyard not to long ago) and he cleans, cooks, everything. I'm the slacker when it comes to that.

Debbie, My goodness girl, go for a ride...Steve and I go to this biker bar we were introduced to called the Broken Oar, It's a very fun place...Music and an entire parking lot just for bikes, Wow they are some of the most amazing bikes!! I degress, Some of the woman their are big, big, I have met ya, you aren't that big. So go enjoy a ride with your Honey, wrap your arms around his waist and enjoy that wind in your face. Take an RC with and sing the old song "Me and My RC"...lol was a commercial back when I was a kid for RC, and the couple was riding along a beautiful Country road, ahhh nothing like the openess. What kind of Bike do you have? I love to go for rides, However I miss driving, Thinking I'ld love to get a Harley but Not sure if I can hold one up!

judy, district mgr meeting went well, we all had 6 minute disscusion one on one as for the girl causing greif she had a hour so when we all got called in as a group,
basically we were to start a clean slate and move on as a team.

then kenny and brian had to work till 6.30 so we cancelled it for another time too late by then so that was a relief.
but my mom called me at work to tell me my aunt who is my grannys dil
she said to my mom oh i just got off the phone with michelle, mom said michelle who??
she stated oh the social worker, ok so there on a first name basis now hmmm were now thinking it is her who reported this and it has to do with money and greed.
were just sick, the social worker said she suffers from dimentia she asked her when she retired it was three years ago but granny said oh 5 months ago.
were so scared my aunt is trying to work her way in and we just dont know what to do or how to stop her.
so its just a mess right now but we will figure out something

LIZ!!!, my mom's half sister (my half aunt) did the same thing when my grandfather passed away and my grandmother had Alzheimer's. I Cannot Stress Enough.......Go Get An Attorney!!!! Make sure he/she wants to fight for you and believe in you and what's right and what's wrong, if not the aunt will own all of her possessions before she's passed on, including herself. I'm not joking, I've been through it and can tell you stories of pure evilness that will make your head spin. Greed and Jealousy can cause a ton of hatred.

Waving a quick Hi to all. Just finished a small table runner. Need to hand sew the binding and that one will be done. I've been making small pieces to put in a craft fair this fall to help with the finances. I've had a pretty good response and I guess it's a good way to use up all the scraps and my stash.
Norm has been making quilt ladders to sell too. I found a new quilt shop not far from here and she has bought two and ordered two more.And so it goes, a little at a time.
I wish I could keep up with everyone and respond in kind. I have a memory like a sifter - full of holes. But anyway, know that I'm lurking and thinking kind thoughts for all of you.

Sunshine day here - what a fall, well, nearly fall..now we get our summer! The best is no rain for Saturday unless weatherman made an error..nothing like having a party and have it rain...just incase, craft room has been organized, cleaned and tables ready to be set should it rain...

Bev, sounds as though you've quite a doctor, interested in gardening, we'll he'll have much to tell other patients about your gardens..he'll be in awe..glad things are working out for you health wise.

Liz, do think you should find an attorney! Imagine you are thinking halloween..almost time for you to take out those boxes..

Barb, we have fall fairs here as well, winners in each category can made $$$..bet your runner is adorable..I've a paper piecing pattern for fall however I find that painting a runner gives me more flexibility as to what to put on it...not sure that I don't have one sitting around just waiting to be finished..

I have learned that Beagles are good pets and love children but they are wanderers. They pick up a scent as soon as they get out the door and off they go. Barking and baying and when they come home, they look so proud of themselves. So don't buy a Beagle unless you have fenced area and do a lot of training while they are young.

Beagles, they are just too adorable...when I took Sailor to the spa on Monday there was a miniature, oh how I would have loved to have taken him home...

Lordy, don't know if I'd have spent that many $$$ at a spa myself and here I go do it for Sailor...but she sure is pretty! Love how they put the bandana around their necks, just gives them pizzazz...

Short day today, always excited about that..I'm without wheels, just waiting for Suzanne to pick me up..new motor for airconditioner/heater...said it would take about 6 hrs. to install so should have it later today thank goodness..having a double birthday party tomorrow and there is much shopping yet to be done, if not ready, guess Greg or Melanie will have to be my chauffeur...

Judy, yes I came home to a lot of changes yesterday...almost tempted to change bedroom now that the patio door has been installed in back bedroom, so pretty looking out at the gardens...they did a wonderful job on the basement entrance door..love the metal doors with all the glass and criss cross in them..that alone changes the back..today they are hoping to get all the 7 doors installed indoors..told them they could wait until next week just incase the job doesn't get finished by tonight..don't want tools all around the house when I'm having company..but as with everything else, you upgrade a few areas and so many more projects come on the list..must design the back area for new deck, need new staircase in the back entrance and finished panelling, there will be new trim and painting for all the new doors..it goes on and on and on...but I'm up for it..

Kyle and I did a good dead for someone yesterday, they are thrilled to death..that alone had made my day, but coming home to the changes brought equal joy..do something nice for someone and it comes back twofold!

That is what I've been up to..as always there is plenty to fill in my days...

Then, as they were re-entering the field to say good job etc, they they run to their enterance for a group
huddle for Coaches views of game or what ever, she stood their watching and waiting.
Breenie finally went to the field, took her by hand and led her back to side line...

Told her I am not going to stress over it, I offered suggestions, even got her some help, which she totally ignored soooo, and i did not raise my voice once.
She has made her choice and that all i can do to make mine...

My mom has a Beagle, they're bread hunting dogs. Here in AR it's illegal to use them anymore, but they have excellent noses and can sniff out a rabbit from 10 miles away. Excellent dogs. My mom calls their barks "warhoops."

Betty it sure is good to see you, miss you bunches. Oh no! Your air went out in your car!? At least it waited until you were through traveling. It's so great to make changes like that, Dave actually hung pictures on the walls, nails and all! We need more though. Glad you're keeping busy as always, and got rid of that migraine! LOL Liz it's been raining here since Monday, watch The Weather Channel today... Me and mom were talking about the CA heatwave, it's always hot there in September and half of October, but between the 3rd week of October and Halloween the weather changes big time and Halloween is always windy and cold.
When my grandmother (dad's mom, not the one with Alzheimer's) was put in a rest home she was 93, had Pancreatic Cancer, and they tried to say she was incompetent and sent someone to talk to her. It happened to be April 1st and they asked her a bunch of questions that she hum hollered around with, then they asked her if she knew what day it was. She looked at the lady straight in the face and without cracking a smile she said, "Why, it's April Fool's Day and whatever you've been writing on that notepad you had better erase and start all over. Happy April Fool's Day and she said her name." Made the gal start all over with the questions and she wasn't happy, but oh my it was hilarious.
Yea, as long as she's mentally there you can't do anything, they have to deal with her directly.

Judy it does happen in spurts. Oh shoot, I can take a break whenever I feel like, but if I do then that's less time working on stuff.

Liz I'm so glad you're finally getting your house back in order. My goodness it's difficult being all out of sorts like that.

Tonight I expect I'll get the finalization of my signature blocks done, and then will sign them, and create a letter to go with them. Maybe I can slip that in, on my lunch hour today (if no one needs anything - maybe I'll put up a door to block 'em LOL).

Saturday, I've GOT to do housework - place is beginning (?!?!?!?) to suffer for my lack of attention. Also need to pack for next Friday after work - we're going tenting, and as this is the 2nd time this year, we're a little rusty about what to take lol.
Sunday is our busy day - Choir practice before service, then dash home to relax?!?!, then off to bowling league in the evening.

O yeah..... Jaye wants me to post pics of my last camping lol I've had No Time to do those kind of "nice" things.
