Done for the night
The Roundup Party is over Part 2
Yep, them's the ones. You can get them another time.
Thanks for posting the photos of Mt. Tahoma, Tills. They are just beautiful! I think we should come up with a 'mini roundup' at my place in the middle of May. Meet at my house and peruse whatever is going on in the spring there, then go to Lakewold, then out to Mt. Tahoma and then home. I already wanted to go to Mt. Tahoma, but after seeing the photos I am feeling really sorry I didn't get to go.
Drat. I knew I was forgetting something, but I was too tired to think straight. Guess I'll just have to make that looooong drive to your place again soon... LOL ;)
Pony, I am really glad that you had a chance to see Pixy's place. Isn't it glorious?!?!?
Melissa, I am so in on the mini roundup plan! I REALLY want to see all three of the gardens in bloom, and Rick at Mt Tahoma says that May is the best time to appreciate his nursery. And if you could lead us to him withouth the hell of the South Hill treck....perfect!
I like reliving the Mt. Tahoma trip through you, Tilly. Keep up the good work!
Pixy, thank you for the goodies. It was a perfect way to spend the afternoon.
Pony, thank you for the irises. I can't wait to get things planted. Rarejem and PNW, some of the goodies are for you, too.
That was just a few that I posted of my own and thats not counting Lynn's Which I am waiting for the Okay to post. I still have Sharons, and Julies yard to go. I kinda feel that I'm geting cut to the curb here Pix. should I stop posting??? A little lost going to bed. Nite
Mary...DON'T YOU DARE STOP POSTING!!!
I am assuming that you are referring about Melissa's comment about a mini roundup...I am certain that she didn't mean stop posting the stuff from this one, but meant coordinating a get together that was less involved than this one was in May. And our now official photographer would be required to attend...and may even find the requested secretary!!!
G'Night!
Mary, you have my permission to post. I didn't realize that you were waiting for the ok. It takes me 15 min to post a picture. I don't know how to resize them, that might be the problem. You are doing such a great job, I am sitting back enjoying the ride!
Tills, you know we always have three conversations going on at once. I don't see why that means you shouldn't post photos. Seems like everyone is appreciating them.
It's been a LONG day. Past my bedtime.
Here is the link to the website I ordered from that I was telling Pony and Lynn about:
http://rareexpectations.com/index.html
I don't know what they have on offer just now. It changes all the time.
Sweet! Thanks, Melissa- I just ordered the Colocasia esculenta 'Black Magic' that I've been lusting after for years. And an Onontonema cuspidatum, too. Her prices are great!
Ohhhh, Tills, please don't stop posting, this is just the way PNW goes - like Pix says 3 conversations at once - go girls, I'm definately keeping track.
tills, I have to go back and find the photo ref for you, but won't be able to do it today - today was village fete day, so we have been up meet with neighbours on the annual hello - funny thing about having land around you, you never really meet your neighbours. So we all try and turn out for the fete - and it is so cute: very home grown. Longest Runner Bean competition, smash the crockery tent, pitching wellies competition, and the dog show. Brass band playing through out. Lovely. This year, there was a wedding at the church across the way and the whole group came to the fate after the wedding - bride and groom included and the bride was throwing wellies, not well - but then she was in veil, gown and highheels. So cute.
PIX!! Of course you need it - a plant is not for christmas it is because it is needed!
I Know we have 3 way 4 way conversations going on all the time. I just took the comment wrong, as I was tired and had a headache to boot. It just came
across wrong to me "Thanks for posting the photos " Sorry LOL
Laurie, I went back to try to find it. I think what you where was the screen behind Carl and Linda.????
The return to Mt. Tahoma
I can't even begin to tell you about this place so small but HUGE LOL
