Great view of the lake.
But kinda funny shot of everyone.
All heads are down but Julie's, She's taking all in, the wonders of it all.

Hi Bea, yes I have seen it love them both
Mary, I will never get my butt out of this chair. I can't break myself away from looking at all of the pictures and narration you are posting.
But you got it, Mary - and that's what counts. I can see the droplets.
Shelly, we thought of you and your great water droplet photos on the tour.
I thought I was all alone out here in hyber space. LOL Thats not half of them. I have spent 5 hours and have no idea how many I have posted.
As we get in to the gift shop area, notice who has the first plant in hand.
The one I wanted. Julie said no worry, I'll dig you up some. And that was a good thing. Cause later that night I discovered that I had lost my debit card. Thank goodness I found it, left it laying on the seat when I used it to go across the Narrows at the toll gate.
Tils, I have both of those anemones. Plenty for you.
Sharon; I can not find Where you posted about the contest, I have been jumping from thread to thread and down loading on the Bucket, not to mention I have a little nat that will not leave me alone, and keeps flying up my nose, I try to get him but not.
But here is the link to last years.

If I catch it, its toast. LOL the bug...
I am done for now, Cross eyed and tired. And so many more too go LOL
Tils you are doing great with all the photos. Very enjoyable.
Wow, tills! You must be worn out from posting photos! Good job documenting the trip. Those are great photos. Didn't you love the variegated rhody? I have never seen one anywhere but there. So since Tills has give everyone the tour of Lakewold at the end of summer, let me post a few photos from May 15 of this year to whet your appetites for a walk through the gardens in late spring. This is that glorious japanese maple I was telling you about that hangs over one of the forest pools. Always have to wait in line to photograph this tree. Sorry it's out of focus. Likely a more serious photographer just pushed me aside.
Here is a photo of those cherry trees the guide was telling us about.
So, I was wishing people had more time to visit at my house. We were so rushed to get to Lakewold, then when people came back we had to get the groups out to Mt. Tahoma. The gardens still look the same and I'm going to be home all day tomorrow puttering around out there, rain or shine. If anyone is in the area and wants to come by, I'll be home. Digging up plants. Getting rid of many of them. Get it?
Pixy, you are the queen of subtlety! Thank you for posting pics of Lakewold in May. I think that we should do a group tour again then...I for one just HAVE to see it when it is blooming! I won't be able to head your way again this fall, but would so LOVE to see your garden again. I have never spent time in a garden before that I just wanted to sit in one spot in an attempt to soak everything in! Maybe I'll con you into letting me visit in the spring to see it's "early" face!
Pixy, I would love to stop by and help you. What would be a good time? Do you need pots?
I can come over after Tracy's EKG and cardio appointments. I think the second one is at 2:00. I have no idea how long we'll be there, but it shouldn't be too late when we get done.
How did his appt's go today?
His EEG was normal, no brain wave problems. He has a brain MRI next week. I think if they're going to find anything, it'll be tomorrow during the heart tests. But we shall see. Keep those fingers crossed...
Crossed, and toes.....
Good news. Fingers crossed here, too.
Thanks, Ladies. :)
First Laurie men love to fix and build. We here in America are hybrids and find anything easy and are rewarded by our others who are proud of what we do. I have built 2 vet clinics, electrical, plumbing, building and design. We work 12 hours a day and are thought that we are lazy and we find that all of this is not enough. So :
Pony I think Tracy needs to focus on life and not Microsoft and enjoy life and all of it value. He needs to see what stressed him and minimise that item. I knew Bill Gates when I worked in Bellevue and found him not what I respected. Understand the minimization of work leads to maximization of life. Breathe deep and become the artist you are. Take care my friend.
More life , less work. I second the motion. All good thoughts going Tracy's way. I just checked out a book from the library called 'The 4 hour work week'. With a title like that, how can I not be curious about what this young man has to say? 30 years old and writing a book like that. Whew!
Lynn, of course I would love to have you come by. Let's just say I'll be home all afternoon. I have one errand which I will do in the morning, but I like to have long stretches of uninterrupted time with nowhere to go when I am working in the garden. If you want to come by, I'd love to see you. If you have pots that are large, like 3-5 gallons or more, I can use a few of them. I've decided to keep all my lilies potted and some of them need bigger pots. Not very many though. Maybe 3 or so. If you don't have any larger ones to spare, that's fine, too. I'll be 'puttering' rather than doing big stuff. I just want to be out there and have a 'slow' day in the garden.
Julie, come on down anytime. DGers are always welcome to come to see the garden, even when it's not all spiffed up. that's why I like this group. We all have gardens 'in progress' and don't look for perfection on every single leaf. May is good in my garden and also at Lakewold.
Ooh- Lynn, Tracy's last appointment is at 2:00 and not far from home, I'm not sure how long it will take, but I can bring those iris for you if you'll be there late afternoon... (and some for Julie, if you don't mind getting them to her?)
Hoping all goes well at Tracy's appt.
