crissy - while my mom was here, she gave & re-gave some advice (heard it as a child and she figures I need to hear it again!) "You can't love or hate an inanimate object - you can only like or dislike!!!) Gotta love Moms, eh?! They won't let you get away with anything!! So I guess you "strongly dislike" accounting roflmfbo

Beautiful, LK!!
now, if mine will only bloom - 1st year for them!
Don't remember what colour they're supposed to be - they were sent to me by a DG'er.
We love our intense Susan, don't we??? 'Cause we're just as INTENSE!!!!
LK!!! Congrats sistah!! I found one neighbour that grows brugmansias BETTER than me :D Gave her some cuttings last year, and her brugs outdid mine. Of course, having good soil helps too.
Keep showing off what's blooming in your garden.
Errr.. Crissy... is it as bad as disliking Ms. Cheerful? Wait, Ms. Cheerful is entertainment value right? And accounting is survival?
Dave.. please don't aggravate her any further with the gardens. Leave it be.. that's what's in her subconscious, and caused her not to function!
LOL Accounting shouldn't be anything, my degree is in IT. If I wanted to do accounting I would have gotten a degree in it LOL Jaye I don't have to 'do' Ms. Cheerful, I can go hide if I desperately need to, I can't hide from accounting. Dave didn't touch any of my flowerbeds yesterday!!! I almost had a celebration!!
You can hate an object, like if there's something in your house that you 'hate,' my mom always says that, "I hate that thing there!" LOL
Proud of you Dave!
(Note: Sistahs are encouraged to brag on our spouses', the "other important half" improvements, no matter how insignificant it may appear to others)
Wow! PTL!! I must be 'feeling' better. Sweat it off, and played some here, not doing anything!
Now I feel like climbing the Himalayas! Oh well... think I'll just do the possible. Iron some fabrics :D
Don't over do it Jaye!
yes, don't overdo it - I did, now I'm exhausted. Just contemplating eating anything more than soup makes me leery. I had a bowl of soup for lunch, and it tired me out............
Guess I went back to work too early, now I'm in for it........ siiiiiiiigh
Jaye, critterologist has her new baby at home!
PTL, LK. She will never forget this happy moment!
Not in a million years!
I could use some happy news are there pictures? How about a link?
Check the prayer forum, Cindy.
Jill is a very lucky mother!

No pictures yet, but they will soon!
I thought Jill said she didn't want pictures of her on the web. Maybe a profile or somthing only. Or maybe she has changed her mind..
OK Well I survived another day.
Was slow this morning at work and then I had another dentist appointment at 10:30.. Was in the chair for 2 hours and when I returned to work I was still numb but sore even with half my face tingling.. Had max bring me up pain killer and kept right on working... Ended up getting into it with the old grouchy fart that no one likes and then finally am home now... Still a bit sore but recovering quickly.
Huggs and prayers to all
Donna
Oh Donna, hope your feeling a bit better! How much more dental work do you need?
Have a nother pain pill, and get a good nights sleep!
LK
Hope it's the last visit for you tomorrow, Donna. You are a brave woman. I'll be passing out if I had to work with pain like that!!
Susan, eat some crackers. Easier on the stomach and you won't go hungry.
Didn't cook this evening. Had some grilled catfish. Tuesday nights, we try to eat seafood.... at least I do anyway :D
Cody, if you're lurking. Know we miss you and we hope you are okay.
Synda.. I see why you're not on here as often as you used to!!
Lolol.. blame it on FB.
Now, LK and Synda, what do you both do if FB isn't accesible?
ate crackers with soup lol
I moved some light stuff tonight (had to go grocery shopping after work) and broke into a feverish sweat......... wheew! Got some "hot from the oven" chicken tonight, and had salad & re-heated rice. Quick & Easy, and tasted good. I just didn't have the energy to cook. DH wants some more stuff for groceries that they didn't have at the other store. I'll head out in a few minutes - only 4 blks from home, so not a big deal....
Think it'll be an early night again tonight. Big meeting tomorrow that I ordered catering for, and have to set up for it. I also bought some flats of drinks that I need to take for the meeting. Good think the co. reimburses me for these expenditures...
Well, guess I'd better head out to the store. Chat atcha later.

I needed to edit I post so that I may post what Rusty's dad wrote:
There is no easy way to say this so I will just begin.
Russ was declared brain dead mid-day today. It took awhile for Drucilla and I, and his sisters Holly and Heather and the other family present to deal with this.
Russ was always a very caring and loving guy. One of his wishes to us has been if anything should happen, donate any organ that may help another. We spent the remainder of the afternoon arranging this. Many will benefit from Russ. Almost every organ can be donated, then eyes and we made certain, any part that can bebefit another. i do not what that may mean but we are doing our best to honor his every wish.
On behalf of Rusty family I Thank You All from the bottom of my heart for all of yours prayers.
Cindy }!{

So sad, Cindy.
Our deepest condolence, our thoughts and prayers for his family and you too.
This must be terribly hard on you. Will be praying for strength for the next few weeks for you dear one.
We're here for you.
(((((((((( Cindy )))))))))))))) and (((((((((Rusty's family)))))))))
This will be a terrible ordeal for you all, but if you let him go, God will take care of him from now on in. Obviously God had decided he would be in less pain this way. It will be hardest on those who knew him the most, and for his little fella......... so young to lose his father! And Rusty won't be able to guide him. Rusty was very young to have gone, but I'm sure he's better now.
I'll keep you and all of Rusty's family and friends in my prayers.
~Susan~
Cindy we are so sorry. You and the entire family are in our hearts and prayers......
God saw he was getting tired
And a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around him,
And whispered "Come With Me".
With tearful eyes we watched him suffer,
And saw him slip away
Although we loved him dearly,
We could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest:
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
......... how lovely and apt ...........
Indeed, Susan.. Kel and I agree with you.
Thanks Trisha.

I don't know who wrote it, but I have always liked it......
Not your usual "Good Night, Ladies"..
but wishing you all to hug your loved ones a little longer before you go to bed.
See you in the morning my sistahs.
Good night Jaye
Good night everyone, may he keep you in His care until the morrow.
Dearest Cindy, I'm so sorry about Russ. But we never know God's plan and this is most likely the best for him. Please accept my most sincere sympathy and for your family as well. May God bless you all....

Good MORNING SISTAHS!!!
been offline due to computer caput.
am in Rochester NY, on the way to Niagra Falls, then Cooperstown, going back by Poughkeepsie (where I grew up until age 13) and then to Queens to visit our son. I stopped back on room 148, so no time to catch up reading, because they are fussing at me to hurry and pack up to be on our way. thank goodness for hotel Y-Fi !!
just had to say hello, and i"m missing y'all.
we're hitting the road...
Hey Bon, have a good, safe trip!
Morning LK and thanks for the coffee. How is the knee doing? And how is DH's. Isn't he due for surgery too? Hoping to see you at the sewing machine soon...
Hey Barb. My knee is healing nicely. Still have 2 weeks of therapy after this week. Hubby is doing better, and yes he needs knee surgery also, but like most men, he is putting it off till what ever reason!
Hope you all have a wonderful day!
Cindy I am so sorry to hear this bad news this morning, prayers are going out to the family and that little boy. I couldn't come on last night because of reoccurring thunderstorms and I didn't get much sleep the two nights before so I was pooped out. Went to bed at 9 complete with Robitussin Night Cold & Cough, I slept like a baby and I feel a lot better today.
I need to go ask my boss for 1 1/2 days off, and I still have a ton of work to do, I'm not making any headway and I'm not getting any help and I'm very frustrated.
Ladie, I just a call from my daughter in law, and she told me my son was run over by a pick up truck last night. So far, they thinkin nothing is broken, but the truck ran over his legs and lower back! Theya re doing test to see if his kidneys ansd liver are OK!
I am out the door, driving to San Antonio, so please pray for him!
I will post as soon as I can!
Just dropped into post from the info you gave me Linda Kay..glad you had a few secs. to do so yourself..
Sending prayers
LK Prayers going out for your son.. Drive careful.. Update us when you can..
