Wilty we hardly knew ye...
Why is my verbascum wilting?
shakespearean plant lovers unite!
There once was a verbascum called Wilty
Whose owner felt suddenly guilty
When she laid him to rest
Saying, "For you it's the best"
Now Wilty is nothing but filthy.
O Wilty Wilty! Wherefore art thou!
You're the one who pitched him! You should know!
I didn't pitch him!!!!!!!!
He just wilted, shriveled up, and the fairies took him.
true she is
hahaha Pirl very good! (clapping)
sure, blame the fairies...that's what happened to the cookies, the fairies took 'em ;)
haha good Moon!
We just need our Lambic & it will be a true send off.
Is this the poet thread???
gardeners are a poetic bunch
and always twisted too...
Moon, that rhyme of rememberance was great!
The fairies are just taking care of him now. He is just in that wonderful place.
...thanks to venice 62.
yes Venice Wilty is someplace where his blooms will never fade, and conditions are always perfect for him
He had no chance of dying due to being old.
Yes, Wilty is now a grand flower!!
Yes, Pirl, he joined the fairies just in his youth.
Can't wait for you to buy another plant so we can go through this again. :-)
Just remember Venice...only the good die young....
If we're going to do this again we'll need the Lambic.......
That may not be strong enough Lynnie...may have to move on to the Tequila....arriba
I love frozen margaritas!!
I am no longer allowed to drink tequila ;) but maybe i could make an exception..
I don't allow myself to drink tequila either, but I certainly talk myself into being lenient in this case.
Sorry I have been in and out. Boy's birthday and we are playing bourre'.....right now we are tied.
Tell him Happy Birthday. I don't know what happens when you guys drink it but....DH says I am alot more agreeable when I've had a few. LOL
I used to get a little wild, but I've mellowed considerably ;)
Moon, . . "only the good die young..." that was great!!
Thank Billy Joel, Venice....grin
tequila has a tendency to release ones inhibitions.....A LOT....grin
I can't drink much so I guess I'm either agreeable or dead. As long as I don't get a headache he's happy.
