I sure hope so Cindy. Think it's the prep time that takes longer. Knowing you, there will be something you'll bring along to keep you occupied.. or play games on your cell phone!

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Jaye we have been watching the news from Taiwan....most of our friends are in the central and northern areas....the worst of this seems to be in the south.

Oh I remember the BIG Prawns.... the hotel where we lived when we first arrived in Taiwan had a fried prawn dish...it was 2 Butterflied, fried prawns...a friend of ours came over to work...we took him to dinner.....We tried to explain the large Prawns to him, but he insisted 2 were not enough so he ordered two orders.....we all had to laugh when he saw them, and could NOT eat the whole thing!!!

Cindy prayers that the surgery goes well and quickly!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

That's funny Trisha, I can imagine his jaw dropping. It's like me ordering a dozen frog legs for the first time in the U.S.
You see folks, Asian frog legs are truly tiny 3" long!!

Please add prayers for Twyla's journey too.

Don't forget to pray for Cindy's mum along with the rest of us that need them.

Beddy time. See you all in the morning!

Good Morning All!

Breakfast (after the treadmill) will be served. Whole grain bagels with light cream cheese and fruit spread.

Trisha I need to make some wheat berries. I forget about using them. Have a bunch of wheat in the freezer to use for that. I might be able to sneak that in to some things and DH won't notice. Yeah..right.

Crissy I know what you mean about being out of town. We are 15 miles away from anything. It requires a lot of planning to have what you need at home. The thing we miss the most about being out here even after 20 some years is pizza delivery. :0) Still I wouldn't trade living here for being in town. The traffic gets worse everyday and my patience gets shorter.

Coleus..my limited area of expertise. This is Jingles.

Have a great day ladies. Will talk to you later,

Juanita

Hi everyone!! Just working hard here, trying to find $250.00.gggrrrrrr
Well Ms Cheerful is back from being sick yesterday, she printed something on the printer this morning and left it there for hours, then asks, "Christine, did you take anything off of the printer this morning?" Oh here we go again, so help me if she starts screaming we'll be marching into the boss's office (of course they're all here so she'll never do anything irrational like that when she can be busted.) I told her no, which I haven't. Every time someone comes out to the main part of the office she asks them "Did you take anything off of the printer this morning?" How about this for a clue, have you ever heard anyting such as a 'community printer?' LOL Drives me nuts!

I miss ordering a pizza and having it delivered, or even calling in and just running down there to pick it up. I'm all about the Delivery Chinese Food too!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Happy Birthday Elizabeth!
How young are you today? Hope today brings you lots of hugs, kisses and beautiful brugmansia blooms.

Thanks for the breakfast Juanita. Kel loves coleus. One of the few that I don't grow this year, trying to cut down on the watering.
It will take us a 45 minute ride to civilization. This we will do on the weekends. Now, if I can tolerate just whatever Walmart offers, then it will be a 20 minute journey.
If not for the inconvenience, I can't complain about living in the boondocks.

Crissy, lolol.. yes, there are businesses with 'community printers'. But can you imagine the memory spools... besides the numerous coffee cups left abandoned next to them!!
Then Ms. Cheerful will certainly have legitimate complains!!
Wonder if Jeff Dunham can use her for comedic materials?

For those that don't have to be outside.........stay indoors!!!

Triple digits here. And I have allergy attacks!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

LK, didn't see you posting anywhere. Hope you're not in pain.

Hope all goes well for Cindy's mum too.

omgoodness - been so long since I was on this thread that I couldn't read it all!

Jaye - re: Kel - so glad he doesn't have to go for treatment
re: Linda - often spouses pass within 6 mo of each other, so I'm not surprised she passed on. Apparently, the longer a couple has been together, and the younger they married (ie: more years married to each other than not...), the closer their passing is. My GP's passed within 6 mo of each other, and didn't get along all that well!

Blessings to all of you, and take care!
Still not online much, as my DM is here until Sat! yaaaaaaaaaaay!!

Crissy, I was thinking more of as Peanut's new 'grannie' :D Bad me.. sorry Lord!!! Maybe that would explain why Peanut's that way!!

They come in many colors, Cody. Get Rob to start you a collection. When the real flowers start coming up out of those bracts, they're beautiful. I love the blue ones.

Not many women can say they own a mountain Elizabeth. I own plenty ant hills :D
