Figured it was time for a new one
Containers 2009 #2
Nice containers Onewish
Wow, Allison, this last week of warmth and sun seem to have done you some good! I wish my containers were half as prepared for good times as yours were. Spectacular as usual!
Nice containers, Allison.
You GO girl!!
Very nice.
thanks all.. this rain is crazy!!!!
good job on the defense Martha!!... looking real nice
They sure loved that pansy. I dragged it all the way home from NC in March. they were part of a batch of pansies we put in for my mom at her house. Thought I would be cool and have them before everybody else in my area. Then the monsoon came. and the slugs. I put eggshells as a mulch in the pot finally and hope that helps to keep them at bay.
Martha
I bought almost blooming tulips this year at hd... ours were not even close yet
pretty smart with the egg shells... guess you won't be smelling that basket though
:)
um, I cleaned the shells before I cracked them all up. I do know what rotten egg smells like. Ewww! I keep a small plastic ice cream bucket in the sink for just this kind of job. a little soap and warm water and voila!
Martha
Martha, I did not know about the egg shells have to do that. Glad you told us about it
very good ... let us know if it works
Martha, that is splendid! My geraniums are looking rather lackluster from neglect.
mine are doing great. check your birthday thread, carrie, I put a picture of my plant's "vacation bench" up there. I have quite a few geraniums on the bench enjoying summer outside my sunroom.
Martha
Oh, that's what a vacation bench is?! I was wondering .... I always check that thread first, it has my name on it!
So prettiful in the blue pot!
looking good Jen... PINCH those flowers!!!!
Watcha got against those flowers? lol
Just something else to add to my list.
flowerjen
Love that first coleus pic. Nice color combination.
If you don't pinch coleus flowers , they die back after seeding. The flowers are not as nice as their foliage.
One wish1
Your coleus are on the way :-)
Joyce
I tried and tried... didn't get there Joyce... trying to think how to pack them up and get them to the PO fast ... and not have them hanging around
No worries. I was more interested in finding homes for all these coleus cuttings rather than dispose of them. I have lots more that will probably end up on the compost pile. Hope you enjoy them :-)
thank you!!!
Lovely pics, Allison.
