jen that's great!!
What have you ordered for 2009 - Part 9
Nice Jen! Congrats!!
Way to go, Jen! The Knockout will do fine---they're hard to kill.
That is SO exciting flowerjen. Can't wait to see what you choose.
My absolutely fav gardening centre in Cowtown just announced a 50% off sale on perennials and shrubby things. We are going tonight with the truck and DH will help load said truck. I'm going to buy DH a present pronto for doing this. (He doesn't like garden centres).
dnut let him stay home and work on the patio and you go to the garden center :) have fun!!!
I can't lift big shrubby things with my bad back wha :( I'm hoping for big shrubby things ^_^
i understand - when should i come and help with the patio:)
You and yours are welcome any time wha! You can take some Rocky Mountain rocks back with you and have a Canuck whawaull ^_^ Rocks can cross border travel if they are boiled first (andnot from a park or sanctuary of course). I got some luvly purpley ones from the Clark Fork River in MT this last trip. Of course borderguy raised his eyebrows but he was more interested in the 6 beer we forgot about in the cooler (oops).
Did you offer him any? On the rocks?
He had no sense of haha so we 'yes siree'/no siree'd him.
Same as I am with the Mrs.
What's that noise in the distance? O it's Mrs Victor ROFLOL of course.
^_^
Tou are too funny! Those purply rocks sound nice. I went to a nursery today & bought 6 little mums, & planted them where I pulled out the weeds---I really need more.
WOW they were just about cleaned out first day of the sale!!! Managed to get
cutleaf staghorn sumac 'Tiger Eyes'
sambucus nigra
salix integra 'Flamingo'
Ligularia 'Britt Marie Crawford' (well why not, I've killed 2 already, what's another murder :O)
tiarella 'Mystic Mist'
macleaya cordata
polemonium regatans 'Stairway to Heaven'
and something tagged as a pasque flower but not but I like the foliage so I got it anyway
no viburnums left :(
stay tuned for new 'swooping' out project to make room for some of these, tee hee ;)
Woo hoo, Jen! Congrats! Have fun with that.
Cousin Nut, nice haul! You have fun swooping, too! Wish I could go shopping. I have to spend a lot of money on my poor car. I can 'swoop' anytime I want!
Karen
Cousin Nut bummer about the car :( I'm jealous of your freedom to swoop. My swoops have to be 'discussed'. Completely fair and understandable as DH is the lawner.
Nice haul dnut!
Thanks flowerjen.
Dahlianut: 'Luv I'm thinking of expanding some beds tomorrow'
True Luv (cleaning his golf shoes for tomorrow) 'Huh? What? Sure whatever you want'
'whatever you want' ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
Cousin Nut, my sister and I are the lawners here, though mostly it's me. :)
Karen
Ahhhhhh the beauty of the planter/lawner combo.
Nice! Love Tiger Eyes.
and i like the 'Flamingo'- nice!
Thanks guys.
Great haul, dnut!
Nice plants! Have fun with them, Dnut.
My Scheiners order came today with a bonus

Are they wearing funny hats?
Nice neighbor, Jen....
