Great, Celeste!

So many on the previous thread that I just don't have time to catch up. I did see your last pic you posted, ngam, and that was very nice!

Celeste, I can't believe you already have a toad lily blooming. I love your Asiatic lily 'Megan' and the golden orange NOID one. Also love 'Desert Song'. Real beauties!

sooo Randy and I broke down when the blue jay was in out pussy willow screaming at us... like.. where are my peanuts... and we put a few out for them... we kind of figured they clear them out so fast the bear won't have a chance

here are the rest of the shots

Thanks Karen! This toad lily is known to bloom in July, one of the reason I bought it. Well that and it's yellow w/plum spots!! lol

Allison I know what you mean about the blue jays! They are demanding and aggressive, the bear doesn't have a chance! lol
Love the Cardnil shots!!!!!

I guess because they know I feed them... I really don't see the aggressive side... but demanding.. absolutely... while I fill the hanging ring for the peanuts... the one ALWAYS goes up in the tree in front of me... and just starts screaming until I throw him one

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

If they have to share the same feeder with the smaller birds...they are TOTAL bully's!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

most of my feeders are exclusive to the size bird that can eat off them... guess it's good then.. the only bullies are the grackles of course... they try and eat off them all

Your first daylily looks like 'Siloam Bo Peep' and the second one looks like 'Strawberry Candy'. I'd try to ID the other 2 for you but I need to go visit w/my God Mother. I only get to see her once or twice a year and she's getting up there in age. She and my Uncle drive up from S.C. every summer, they are 77 so i know it won't be to much longer before they quit driving this far.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Bill what are you doing with a house wren?
They are the most annoying birds I can think of.
I'm moving a bird house today now that its empty.
It was too close to the garden and I would get scolded and divebombed every tim I want to strole thru my lovelies.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i actually like the little guys - amazing how they are continually collecting bugs for the chicks - and they are a nice distraction while sitting in front of the fire pit with a cold beverage at the end of the day - i have never been dive bombed :) maybe i'm a bit bigger and they are not so brave - bring a tennis racket with you :)

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

celeste you are right as ususal with your id's - i have pictures saved from the catalog i ordered them out of - i have never tagged them outside, same with bearded iris - jm's, dogwood, other trees, and most shrubs i make note and remember the names, will have to slowly add these to my memory - there is only so much space up there and baseball statistics need room too:)

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

They used to go nuts when my cats were outside.
Its quiet now,the little ones are flown.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

how high were the birdhouses? mine are 5 to 7 ft off the ground.

Port Washington, NY(Zone 7a)

Wow, is it really time for Toad Lilies? This summer was so strange.
