۞ Sweet Interruptions ۞153
Well I guess thats it for now.. lol
Huggs to you all wl tr yto be back soon
going out to put the cages up for the pepers
Am agreeing with Crissy there. Don't want anyone to have Alzheimer's.
LK so cool!!! Thanks for the link and I'm able to interprete it!!
Quite a coincidence too that sistah Judy should bring up my spiritual aspect!
"According to biblical interpretations, dreams about falling have a negative overtone and suggest that man is acting and walking according to his own way of thinking and not those of the Lord."
So, that means, I've been battling with my spirituality ;) Or in my case, the homework I should have been doing, instead of reading the First People series!!! But, I do managed to apply myself each morning to the more important studies (flying upwards).. and in the afternoons, anxiously return to the series (wanting to plummet)!!! Lolol!!!! So, how cool is that??
Hugs sistah Judy. Am almost finished with Thunder, and Fire will be next. I also ordered the Anazasi series. Well I had called him "Windtalker" waaaay before that movie ever came out. Kel's flatulence earned him that nickname!!
Hope you will get to feel better! It's all that running around that can get you down. If BJ's here, she'd fuss at you to take your minerals!
Donna, that's a priceless picture of Tristen with a dragonfly. You need to frame that for posterity! So, you have to 'relearn' gardening according to your new zone and the short summer. You may not be able to grow plumerias or heat loving plants like when you were in Florida, but you can certainly grow beautiful peonies.. and tulips.. and daffies.
Stomach's full. Went to Ryan's for supper. It was fried catfish night.

Oooh I forgot!!
Good news.. taking Uncle Ronald's name off the prayer list now!
He's discharged! He surprised Kel at the shop this afternoon, when he showed up in his truck!! And this man was at death's door!!
Praise the Lord. And thank you so much for all your prayers and kind thoughts!!

Oh Yay Jaye!!! Glad to hear it!!
So Who's on Facebook????
Crissy, I am.. but not into games. One way for my nieces and nephews to stay in touch with me. :D
Today is my first day of Farmtown, my mom's on it and wants me to do it with her. I'd rather just chat (imagine that)
I just checked my Facebook. My niece invited me to Farmville. She's only 8, what does she know about growing peas??
Nope.. not into games.. can be addictive.
"Chopped" is on! Gonna watch it and then do.. 'dormier'.
So I'll say good night to all! Sweet dreams, will chat tomorrow.
This is a perfect place to chat by the way.. like minded folks here :D

Good night everyone....had a great luncheon with the ladies today...until DH called me to come pick him up....the car quit on him and won't start....had it towed to our favorite mechanic....hope Terry can do something with it...cheap.
Bike ride was really nice tonight....fairly flat and on the Woodland Bike Path so it was nice and cool....90 here today!
This is one of the things Doris' daughter gave me today.....isn't he beautiful ? He is almost a foot tall!!
oooh love dragonflies - so pretty & delicate! (very fairy-like, and I love fairies in my garden!)
shorter growing season, eh Donna? How would you fare in 3a/b that I'm in lol
So glad to hear that Uncle Ronald is doing so fantastically :-)
I'm on FaceBook, but not often, and only when I get emails saying someone has invited me to something. I don't usually join them but I joined Mafia Wars the other night, simply because my first-born did (long story about him, but I won't go into it just now).
Blessings to you all :-)
well I'm sure everyone is off to bed I've been surfing some looking at online courses and school bus stuff since the year is about to begin I am looking at what I can find cheap cheap to get for my drivers to start their year off good.
but then I have also been searching school districts with in an hour drive from me to see if any of them are looking for a bus driver trainer/dispatch etc something in the line of working with the drivers and in the office
we've had rain and this am we woke to no power
I called it in and then went to the dentist and when I got home it still was not on so I called again and was told return time was 10 am the 21..well duh it was after 12 and no power so I called customer service and finally got through and they finally sent someone out and they replaced the fuse on the transformer
well it rained again tonight after dark and the power went off came on went of came on went off and stayed off enough I lit the oil lamps again then looked out the window and the top of the transformer pole was glowing ...it was on fire but it went out and the power came back on
had tried calling in again but the wait time was 30 min or more so let it go for now.
I am on face book and do farm town Phyllis Hackman do a search for me and add me
I hope everyone had a good nights sleep and I'll pop[ in again soon LOL
What is that series of books you all were tlaking about, Jaye/ Give me a tile and author if you please. I have a friend who would like to read them and I can't remember them. I think it is The People series?
oh believe me LK I'm tryin
Dh woke me up again this morning to no power again so put in the call and the guy finally put in the new "fuse" on the transformer ...I have no idea if it rained again after I went to bed or not or if it rained again or not LOL
The People series - Kathleen & Michael Gear
wonderful series - takes some artistic licence, but seems very believable for the times.
Oh please send the rain this way Phyllis. Have been busy with the granddaughters so today is finally a day to spend at home--well sort of--have many, many things to do mostly involving restocking the larder!!! LOL
When I get my errands down will download my pictures and then the boredom will begin--I hope it won't be to bad. I did see Arenal erupt while in CR and oh I do hope the pictures will show it--this huge red boulder (I do mean huge) coming down the side, flame red with smoke.
Well thanks for the coffee and breakfast Linda Kay but I now need to go into town. I can think of a thousand other things I had rather do but this has been put off as long as possible.
Later..............................
Sorry your knee is giving you a fit Linda K. I've got the same problem with mine. I think if I'd just walk more I would be better off. The don't seem to want to unhinge after sitting for long periods of time.
Susan, I'm with you on facebook viewing. I just don't seem to go there unless I'm prompted by an email. That's the only way I've been in facebook is through an email. Nothing against facebook, I like it. Without my monitor and having to use Larry's computer, I just don't get a lot of opportunities to sit down and play.
Did you swing from the tree tops again, Marion? LOL Can hardly wait for pics.!
Nope no swinging from the tree tops this time Deborah. BTW, the wedding pictures were beautiful--but I knew they would be!! The groom's mother looked absolutely stunning--loved the outfit. Did you manage to get a picture of the 4 generations while there with your Mom?
I thought of you daily as I saw the blue Morphos flying everywhere. Tried really hard to get some pictures for you but not sure if I succeeded yet. That is one spectacular butterfly!!!!!
Understand what you and LK are going through with the knees. After we came home from BJ's, my new doctor put me on something for mine and believe you me it works really well. Actually it is a prescription form of Aleve--should take 2 daily but 1 every 3 days has it under control--that and making myself walk more. If I hadn't been on that I would never have been able to hike the 1 1/2 miles to the observation deck at the volcano.
Marion, what is the name of the meds please?
Maybe I can ask my Dr. for it?
yes do tell!
Hello everyone!
Will have to make this brief.. waving to everyone!
Kinda hurt my back a little pulling hoses! Aleve hasn't kicked in yet.
Janice, I'm mailing out 2 to you! People of the Wolf and P.O.T.Fire.
Funny Deb.. Maid M. swinging from tree to tree? Unless those trees have JD lookalikes waiting to catch her!!
So sorry LK you're having problems with your knee.
Hi C_Susan! (Hi C.. need more of that today!)
Ooooooooooooooooh I got a NEW sewing machine for my b'day:D
ROFL!!!!!
Love you too Susan!!!!
My birthday's next week. This morning, we stopped at one of my fav. quilting stores, and Kel outright bought a sewing machine!
I already have 3, and still one pair of hands! But, I cannot say no. If I had done that, he'll stop spoiling me for sure!
Yayyyyyyyyy it's raining!! Giving my back a rest!!!
Oh my.. we sure do need it. Dance for me will ya?
Trisha, knowing you, pretty soon you'll have another pond, unless you lack space. Knew of a guy with a small lot, and he had more than a dozen water features. Got to be careful where we walk!
I bet Sage enjoys the fishes. Have you ever tried your hands at sculpting aquatic critters?
Deborah, I used to be active on 360. More adults there, and Facebook is more for the young'uns. I feel so old each time one of my nieces or nephews invited me to play a game with them.
Well last night, I tried to keep my page current. Gave it up after a few 'pokes'!!!
Aleve still hasn't done it's wonders, think I'll sit back and read a manual.
hmmmmmm I have one, older/borrowed, sewing machine. Would love to have a quilter's sewing machine.
Maybe I can be your Buddy, and you can send one (the oldest one would be fine - I'm sure you have a better one than my old one, unless it's an antique pedal one!)
♫♪ **Dancing a rain dance, for Jay** ♫♪
glad it's giving your back some relief, if only from weeding lol
What's 360?
What kind of manual? A Gardening on, I'll bet, or maybe one on aprons?
Ohhhh do tell us more about the sewing machine Jaye!!! You better hang on the Kel for sure--men like him are one in a million, I was lucky enough to have the one in the first million and you have the one in the second million. Of course, don't tell him that or he might not spoil you so much. Sure do miss mine right now--anniversary coming up soon and would have been 49. Oh well the good Lord had other plans for us.
Now I am really, really out the door or there will be no dinner tonight--zip, nada, nothing!!!!
The oldest one is a Kenmore, purchased in 1984.
Then comes the Pfaff Hobbymatic.. still reliable.
3 years ago, he got me a Singer Quantum, 9920. It's a good utility machine.
This new one is a Viking Husqvarna. If I had let him, I'll be sewing on a Designer "SE" but, being practical..and only for quilting, I don't want a sewing machine that would cost more than my old vehicle.
So, I chose something more affordable. The Emerald 203 http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/us/17454_17455.htm
360 was another social networking site put out by Yahoo.
It's defunct now.
Can't shake him off Marion!! The ladies at the store want him to give 'hubby lessons' to their hubbies!!
Won't be sewing another apron till next year, Susan!!!
Good afternoon everyone! Just got done with lunch, had a pizza type sandwich, salad, and my chips are sitting here for my 3pm munch attack.
Happy Birthday Jaye!!!!! Hope I didn't miss it, yay on the new sewing machine, I don't have one of those, but I don't do enough sewing to justify getting one. Then room for it is another issue.
Doing my rain dance too! It usually works for me...
I'm going to look you up on Facebook Phyllis. I'm doing Farm Town and Farm Ville LOL I know I'm crazy but oh well, with me it's all or nothing at all lol!
Well thank you for the early wishes Crissy! Cody done start a trend there!!
LOL I'm not here mentally enough to look at the birthday list on the home page every day, I don't know when anyone's birthday is, I can barely keep track of my own.
With this cold I've lost just about everything I can lose. I've turned into the brainless snot factory.
ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww (picturing this. blechie!)
.... and I second that ewwwwwwwww!
Oh Crissy...that was good one.. Been there, done that. You are too funny girl. Feel better soon.
Juanita
Hi Ladies,
This heat has got me so down.6 days in a row of 100+ is just too much. I don't feel like getting on the pc. Not having my own to use and mom's being on dial-up drives me NUTS. That is why I haven't been on much. I have lots of pix to share but it takes so long to upload that I get knocked off line sometimes and that makes me MAD!!!!
Mom and I have been taking care of my aunt's place while she is camping. I want to show you my cousin's turtles. This big one is a pig. I tried to pick him up, and couldn't even begin too lift him.
Here is "The Pig" eating this little one's food. I found the little one trying to get out. It had chewed it's way through chicken wire fence then was digging to crawl under the chain link fence. They are always getting out, one of these days the will get hit by a car because my aunt lives on a busy road.
Big Turtles! how long do they live? A long time, so I've heard.
Quite the committment when you get one, let alone 2!
Wow - a heat wave, to be sure, Cindy......try to keep cool. Does your DM have an airconditioner?
