That's a great way of putting it that I hadn't thought about before! "a sense of theatre." It fits perfectly!

Cant wait to see before and afters Shelly
Hopefully by tomorrow evening. It's taking much longer than I was thinking of. Mainly because it's been 90-95 deg for the last several days, so that means more time watering all the planted/replanted stuff and less time for............. anything! lol.
We are having September weather here, with out the frost.
Everything is slow to open.
That weather sounds good for the plants though!
I felt a hint of fall walking this morning, there were some dried leaves and fragrance from the crab apple I walked under. Then I remembered it's still July.
Yes.
Its 53* now
Windows sweating, we havnt been able to breakfast on the deck yet this year and on the good side, we havnt had to turn on the AC.
Of course everything is cold and damp including the bedding at night. I have to wait until body heat dries out my sheets in order to fall asleep.
morning Debbilu.
We were outside at a graduation party yesterday.
Everyone migrated to their porch to stay out of the wind.
Good Morning Deb. Your walk sounds about perfect to me!
Jan...Maybe that's not so good. Well, our weather system is slowly moving eastward, so maybe it will bring you some summer weather before too long!

Hi JoAnn and Shelly. I actually love early morning walks before the world wakes up.
I don't get around to doing early morning walks very often, but it definitely gets my brain up and going much quicker when I do get out for one before everything starts turning for the day.
The sun is up now and I'm heading out to take longviews of the lilies.
Back - at-cha
Louise, I always love shots of 'cuppatea' and I especially like the dasies and lavendar pic.
RC, the nursery is Fairweather Gardens
Bev - nice shot of the cosmos!
Shelly - pretty shots - love that one of the bright orange guy! I look forward to your before/after shots too!
Debilu - like you, I love our early morning walks. We were late today and just as we were heading out, one of my law school chums called from nearby. We canned the walk and had him come for a breakfast visit that was just great. Love the ability in retirement to be open to the serendipity.
Jan - thanks so much! I'd love for you to be able to come hang out on Cuppatea's porch at our gathering in September!!
JoAnn - be sure to post the "after" shots of the stone work from today!
I'd love to be there as well. Sadly, that is mom's birthday weekend! We must do something grand - the big 90! A year ago April we wouldn't have thought she'd make 89, but she is still here. She has been very unsteady, though, the last couple of days.
Oh, great reason not to come, Jan! I hope she has a wonderful birthday!!!
Great combo!
More great combos!
That noid looks like Pandora!
