Thanks. This was my first year with sunflowers. I'm liking them and will repeat them next year. That melon is beautiful ge

Lovely, Anita! I think your NOID whose tag got lost in the flood (from Oakes) is Strawberry Candy. I have that one and just love it. Here's a shot of mine.......

JoAnn - I love your melon DL!

Bev - My Wild Mustang (which was a memorial plant for my Mom) took a couple of years to really take off, but it is always reliable now.

Hmmmm - now that I look at them together, I'm not sure. My Strawberry Candy has an edge that I don't see on yours, but it could be the light, etc.. Pixie will know.....she gave me mine.

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

It's lovely never the less!

Thomaston, CT

Great photos of the lilies, etc. Too busy today to get any pics---heading to MA for a few days.

Thanks Karen! I've missed being here. I'm house/pet sitting for a little while, so it's really nice to be on a computer that actually works as it should. I blindly put some more of my photos on a flash drive so that I could maybe work on putting together some before and after shots of my yard projects. But, now I have to hope that I put the right pictures on the flash drive since I didn't have the chance to view them before transfering! lol.

Dyane... I love that Dianthus ghost. It's very whispy and unusual.

Jo Ann... nice work so far with those stones, pretty collages too!

Anita... I love that noid DL in post 6835348

Wc2... good to see you again.

Dragonfly.... pretty tigers!

Dahlias are beautiful Louise.
Mine are just starting.

Thanks, JoAnn. Only my dwarfs are blooming; the others haven't any buds yet, but their foliage is nice and dark green. I need to get out there and fertilize a lot of things if rain comes into the forecast.

Dahlia.... I forgot to mention up above that the Pacific Giant delphinium is awesome!! I would love it if any of mine would ever get that tall. You know that you must be doing something right!!!

Jo Ann... congrats on your DGD graduation! I bet that she's elated.

Dyane and Louise.... very nice pics and plants. I'm jealous!

Dragon...that one pink one sure makes a statement.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I cant believe its almost the end of July.
I'll focus on the lilies opening up.

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

I think that you have lots to focus on still!

I'm still working on putting together before and after pictures of my yard project(s), so here's a few until I get them all together

This is my new favorite sent to me by Jan from a nursery that many of you know that I can't think of the name of right now.

the echinaceas seem to be a favorite of the swallowtails. I think that I agree with them.

I love the sense of theater you see when sunlight dapples on hostas.
That one looks like a spotlight hit it.
