Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

Katinka, certainly one of my favorites...

Great lilies pardalinum! I'm particularly fond of the out and down facing lilies.

And on that venue here is Schutzenliesel (sp?)

Here is a very stunted Dark Star, it is about 1/2 the size it was last year, but it is still alive.

I just couldn't resist Grace Marshall, she's backlit by the rising sun.

All nice lilies there llilyfan. Capturing the backlighting sure enhances the beauty, doesn't it!

(Sue) South Central, IA(Zone 5a)

yes, it does enhance the beauty, but can distort the true colors also.

As long as I am here again...

Firestar from Buggy not out or down facing, but a glorious lily none-the-less!

My Firestar (3 yrs old) has certainly exceeded it's height dimensions, topping out at 6 ft. Here's a shot thereof from below.

'Firestar' is very impressive, anything taller than me gets my vote! ^_^

'Kiss Me Kate' in full bloom finally.

jmorth...that cluster of Touching is too die for!!!

Divernon, IL(Zone 5b)

nanny, the cluster is really considerably larger but most pics thereof end up including portions of the neighbor's dilapidated garage...a real eye-sore amidst all the lily eye-candy.

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Oh Sue, I like that Tropical Breeze, where did you get it? That is one nice lily. All the other ones are nice too, but I like my speckled lilies. :) LOL

(Sue) South Central, IA(Zone 5a)

More great lily pics pixie and jmorph. Those clusters are to lust after!

I'll have to go out in the daylight and see if I marked it, it was new last fall.

Stamford, CT(Zone 6b)

Moby, I also think it is a fernlearf peony. Unfortunately, mine hasn't bloomed in 2 years, so you'll have to treat it gingerly and figure out where to put it.

Keep in mind that it is more of an alpine plant than herbacious or tree peonies.

Great shots. Sounds like I planted my Firestar in the wrong place. This year mine is about 2'.

I like those 5 Henryis in a row. Nice composition!

Firestar is up 5+ feet here. I had to just kind of hold the camera up and over and take a shot without looking!!

jmorth I am constantly amazed at how far ahead of me you are. It will be quite some time before I see L. henryi. Your group shots are striking. Your place must just glow and smell pretty good about now too.

llilyfan, your lilies are amazing. Love that backlit one especially. 'Tropical Breeze' certainly shows off its beauty in that picture!

pard, exquisite lily seedlings. I always look forward to seeing what you have to show us. 'Katinka' is gorgeous.

Pixie, yeah! Lily season is coming in there to you now. 'Kiss me Kate' is such a sweet colorful thing, isn't she? And the blooming time seems to last quite a while here. Maybe it is because everything has been slightly refrigerated this year.

Ticker, as usual your garden pictures are beautiful. I have come to expect no less. Your lovelies are just that.

lincoln your yard must be in full swing right now. The American Series lilies are beautiful. Your pictures almost bring the scent to life.

TwinLakes, you have to show us more pictures. I have heard how wonderful your place is, I would be very pleased to see more of it ^_^

susybell your lilies are beautiful. You've done such a nice job plotting things out there.

Keep those pictures coming. I love them all and look forward to each and every one.

I don't have room for many more right now. A few may be leaving, not sure. But I am now convinced Touching is THE MUST HAVE for this fall.

Halloween/Kentucky take your pick of the name. :) It's still a lovely Tango.

My asiatics have started blooming. Please disregard the damaged leaves, etc. My lilies have been damaged due to lily bettles, slugs & too much rain. I will take better preventative measures next year. I'm also learning how to take better pictures with my camera. If I've made a mistake with the names please forgive. I've kept track of lilies I've purchased (last ten years), but not where I have planted them. I did the best I could to ID them correctly.

Oh yeah, now back to the spackle mine...
