Great lilies pardalinum! I'm particularly fond of the out and down facing lilies.
And on that venue here is Schutzenliesel (sp?)
Here is a very stunted Dark Star, it is about 1/2 the size it was last year, but it is still alive.
I just couldn't resist Grace Marshall, she's backlit by the rising sun.
All nice lilies there llilyfan. Capturing the backlighting sure enhances the beauty, doesn't it!
yes, it does enhance the beauty, but can distort the true colors also.

My Firestar (3 yrs old) has certainly exceeded it's height dimensions, topping out at 6 ft. Here's a shot thereof from below.

nanny, the cluster is really considerably larger but most pics thereof end up including portions of the neighbor's dilapidated garage...a real eye-sore amidst all the lily eye-candy.
Oh Sue, I like that Tropical Breeze, where did you get it? That is one nice lily. All the other ones are nice too, but I like my speckled lilies. :) LOL

I'll have to go out in the daylight and see if I marked it, it was new last fall.
Moby, I also think it is a fernlearf peony. Unfortunately, mine hasn't bloomed in 2 years, so you'll have to treat it gingerly and figure out where to put it.
Keep in mind that it is more of an alpine plant than herbacious or tree peonies.

Pixie, yeah! Lily season is coming in there to you now. 'Kiss me Kate' is such a sweet colorful thing, isn't she? And the blooming time seems to last quite a while here. Maybe it is because everything has been slightly refrigerated this year.

These are really old and I think they are Connecticut King..
My asiatics have started blooming. Please disregard the damaged leaves, etc. My lilies have been damaged due to lily bettles, slugs & too much rain. I will take better preventative measures next year. I'm also learning how to take better pictures with my camera. If I've made a mistake with the names please forgive. I've kept track of lilies I've purchased (last ten years), but not where I have planted them. I did the best I could to ID them correctly.
