Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh Chocolate, I thought I might get by not ordering this fall. . . . you just took care of that foolish thought!
I was just thinking the same thing.....love 'Elise'!!
Hopes of not ordering anything? I think my wish list takes care of any hopes of that. Wish lists are created here ;)
Beautiful lilies. Chocolate, your lilies certainly show a climate difference. The colors are amazing. We don't get that here in the midwest. This year has been cooler and so far I have seen richer colors, but most often not.
Love those Queen Kongs jmorth.
2 feet or 6 feet, that blossom is gorgeous lincoln!
I have a wish list too, made up of many lilies I have seen here but cant find online or thru Plant Scout.
I'll make a list and post seperate
Here's the list.
Dont make yourself nuts if you cant remember the sources.I'm just stabbing in the dark hoping for a few.
I need sources if anyone could possibly remember them.
If not ,its no biggy.

ge several of your lilies come from either Canadian sources or lily societies (which typically make lilies available to their members that are either not in the Dutch market or not widely available). The trade off with Canadian growers is that you pay a phyto fee (permit to get it into the US) and extra shipping charges.
The Pacific Northwest Lily Society has a mailorder sale (twice a year, available to members only), like no other and is, in my opinion, a great way to get lilies for lesser of a price and many, many options with great growers providing them.
Thanks for explaining Magnolialover.
I did find a few on Lily Nook.
I also remember deleting that site from my list of lily suppliers.
I will just stick with. The Lily Garden ,B&D and Brent and Beckys.
Again I really appreciate your help.
ge1836, From drooling over lily nursery catalogues-I knew where you could find a couple of the lilies you are looking for. BIG BANG- The Lily Garden, BRUSH STROKE – The Lily Garden, MOTHER OF PEARL-The Lily Garden, and VULCANO-Faraway Flowers. Hope this helps a little.

Yes, everyone, the daylily pictured there with the orange electric lilies is Fancy Face. I have a short row of Fancy Face along the topmost (nesrest to garage) section of my driveway side garden bed. The orange electric are really just at the end of the row so they are a combo at that end. The other end of the Fancy Face row has Bestseller lilies planted but they are not blooming yet. Plus if you look at the picture carefully you can see lots and lots of unopened lily buds in back of Fancy Face. That would be the row of Red Alert that I put in at the same time as I planted the other lilies this spring that I was just mentioning.
The Orange Electric lilies were all bought as TINOS this spring from VB Wholesale. When they bloomed they were orange electric instead of Tinos. So I received the wrong lily but I am very happy with the mistake as I love the happy looking little speckled flowers. Now I just need to find Tinos for sale somewhere next spring.
magnolialover...I've also noticed how climate affects color tones/vibrancy. I especially picked up on that with Bonbini...
Wish lists keep getting longer. I swore I'd only pick up a few asiatics this fall since the rest are so much extra work for me to dig and store...Silly me...But it helps to know I only need Pink Giant or Salmon Twinkles or Pink Tiger and not all three. That leaves space on the list for two alternates...^_^
ge1836...It leaves more for the rest of us if you don't shop these two, but you really might want to consider Faraway Flowers and Buggy...
I'm adding The Lily Nook to my list...worth the phyto to get some of their offerings.
Can someone tell me how tall Satin Slippers gets?
Its all yours Chocomoos.
I dont have that much room and wish I did have after seeing all the long rows of lilies here.
Spend away I say lol
I do have a note to myself to look at Buggy Craz in August when his new catalogue comes out.
I also like Frarway Flowers they are in my Favs list.
Many of your soft peachy creams like Mother of Pearl are the sort of bulb I'm looking for.
I will find something. Its T-Storming here so I will devote the afternoon to the hunt.
Hope my list isnt full by august.
See!!!
I never would have assigned "Crazy" to a woman.
Hope she doesnt see my mistake.
I'm sure Lisa will forgive you ;)
Just wanted to add to that list of names for the same lily, there are now 4, 'Tigrinum Rose' is the latest. Just got a catalog from some place called Royal Dutch. And yet another name appears! It's the same lily.
I also see that 'Sweet Surrender' has joined the mass market. It is in there too.
nanny, BW past its prime? Mine has never looked that good.....ever. Lovely!

Yeh, bummer about Tinos but I now have OE so it's not all bad.
Lefty, Yay for 'Tinos' and her true colors. The color here is better than ever this year. Thanks for the good report ;)
scubadoobie ~ your first choices are some good ones!
