Nanny, I'm impressed. Boogie Woogie has always been a dud for me. :)

(Sue) South Central, IA(Zone 5a)

dlefferts, looks like you have a VERY good start on lily madness ^_^

nanny, I've never even gotten that one to bloom! Great job!

Susan, great lilies, mine are all stunted this year, that is if they survived!

nanny-56, impressive lily, planted a Boogie Woogie, as so many others-never bloomed for me.

llilyfan, last year this forum helped to create an addiction (madness) in me. In the last year I've added over 20 lilies to my garden, mostly new O/T. I also took your advice from last year and purchased new same named lily bulbs to compare with the lily blubs I already had. It is certainly helping me learn what I have.
Thanks
Debbie

Great lilys all! Rita, who's the daylily?

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Wow...I am surprised to here that about Boogie Woogie...it blooms very nice just have never had the bit of pink edge.

Agawam, MA(Zone 6a)

I agree with Ticker, want to know the daylily's name. Rita your gardens are amazing. Please come & visit me (please bring some of your extra lily blubs-LOL) & some of your terraces-my yard could use them. Please keep posting pictures you have done an absolutely one of a kind garden. I have trouble planting 20 blubs at a time much less 100's.

NewY.Rita says in her post, the name of the daylily is: "Fancy Face ".
I recognized it because I just planted here this spring so im really happy to see her picture of it!!!!!

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Us lily folks think alike. My dad and I went to a daylily sale and I just bought 'Fancy Face' a month ago. We'll see if I get to see her face or if the deer will beat me to it. The other day, I came out to see a chomped daylily bud, and next to that, one they chewed off, but didn't think was that great, so just left it along side the daylily it belonged to, buds intact. Ugh!

Saint Bonifacius, MN(Zone 4a)

Just as we predicted, Mag, the Tinos you gave me has true colors this year.

Thanks again!

I thought last years pics were amazing, but this year's are even better. Like many others, I can't say anything other than I need/want way more than I have room for. There are some absolute beauties!!!

I'll post a few more of mine...hope you enjoy, but I can't compete with some of the ones posted. Wish I had the option to leave my Orientals & Trumpets in the ground so they could grow into masses like some of you have, but I am happy to have them at all. Continuing from here: Lilies in AK
