I think this is another one I got in Miss Becky's sale a couple of years ago.

The Diana Clare pulmonaria is looking good. That's Mrs. Moon next to her, I think she needs to be moved where she can stretch her legs a little.

I have dahlias on the brain. Those are apparently red daylilies, not dahlias. This is the new rose I got at the Webers sale, Cabana.

I am convinced I need some oriental lilies.

Hart, love the red dahlia and begonias.

Allison finally gave up cigs to smoke ribs, huh???
Love how you finished with fireworks...great!

I am going out of my mind trying to find that John Scheepers catalog!!!!! Insanity rules!!!
Where--oh where have I put it?????

This white, huge Lily is now in full bloom. The stems are VERY strong and thick as my thumbs, The very large, stiff blooms point downward, so they are hard to photograph.
Got home late last night from a 4th cook out--and the fragrance was intoxicating!!!

OK! here are a few new pictures of it. I wish I could immortalize it just as it is NOW for the rest of the growing season.....

Here's the whole group. A bit overexposed...all that white! I bought 5 bulbs.
Never mind the dead leaves on the Clematis behind it.

These are in the bed I dug my huge KK hibiscus out of last Fall so I could plant these Lilies. Will show you the KK in a bit....

Here is the "dwarf" (HA!) red Coreopsis.... It is about 2' high--but I love the dark red color and it's airiness. Just next year--it will go in the back of the beds--NOT in front--b/c I thought it was dwarf!

Here is Jill's Not Choc. Daisy blooming away---now joined by my Shasta daisies....
Both doing great in my YUK bed!!!!

And--here is the KK hibiscus ready to pop! It is not as tall as it used to be--but I am sure it will be next year. I am VERY happy to see it doing so well after being dug up just last fall.....

OK! That's it for now--Gita

Enough is enough--------------------
I am going to the John Scheepers website--post a picture and ask for an ID of this amazing Lily. THERE!!!!!

This is a geranium that I bought at Bluestone's end of the season sale last year 2008. I pulled it up in the fall and hung it bare root in the basement over winter. In March I potted it up and look at it now. I have another one in a combo pot, both are doing wonderfully.

? anyone at the swap that got my "hardy red" geraniums that I grew from seed (a round robin swap) has yours bloomed yet, I have healthy plants but no signs of bloom. Jill thought it was a Zonal and I agreed with her.

LG... I left some geraniums right in the containers I grew them in... just lightly watered them now and then... all came back

Flowerjen, great lily from Ruby. I am really enjoying their generous contribution to my garden also.

Hart, love that Cabana rose and that Mocha Begonia.

Gita, lovely lilies.

These yellow callas look artificial because of their deep flawless yellow color. I planted some directly into the new bed and half of them I planted into sunken pots. I hope that I have what it takes to dig up or take in the buried pots of everything that won't overwinter.

I am hoping that just plucking the pots out will encourage us to bring at least some of the callas and canna in. The glads will be replaced by iris when I receive my co-op order.

Allison, I have a Ivy Leaf geranium that I left in a window box and over wintered in my bay window, it bloomed all winter. The other geraniums were in opened ended building blocks that I could not bring into the house.
I was glad I up rooted these, they were grown in those plastic mesh plugs so I released the roots from their cages.

Gita, that coreopsis is beautiful. I've never seen the red ones. The lily is wonderful.

I'm just going to post a couple. Here's my other lily, I'll have to look up the name. It just started blooming.

I wasn't even going to post this one because I'm sure you've seen this daylily before, but the raindrops on the flower are so pretty.

Black eyed susans and coneflowers. (Goldstrum and White Swan.) Note the double cones on the coneflowers, I've never seen that before.

I wrote John Scheepers an e-mail and they looked up my order from last year.

Beautiful flowers everyone, I have been taking flower pics but not getting them posted so here they all come.
I tried to name the dayliiles but have given up. Most of them came from Ruby and John either two years ago at harts swap or this year from ours.
