Thank you everyone. It was a hard one! There were actually two hints. arejay said that there were two words with the first one being 9 letters. The other hint was Mittsy saying that she had deadhead off of the parent plant. It made me think of which flowers were already blooming. I just lucked out that one was Primrose!

The Sundrop prize was mailed this morning. The real HINT was that I was weeding dandelions. Dandelion leaved primrose. Gee!!! Glad we are getting more donors. This has been fun. I think we should say you can only win once a month like they do on radio contests, what do y'all think?

OMG Mittsy, 30 huh I would be all done!!Any of the thirty's 1-9 heck even 40... I am 50 in July.My Mom was born in 37. She has just taken on packaging all the bulk seeds for me. Did I tell everyone that? She doesnt even garden, never did. I remember her planting a tree once a really long time ago. This seed thing is completely contagious and addictive.She is also alphabetizing and looking at organization options. I can wait... It will be great!!

I vote '1 win, 1 plant' just seems that it would keep things fair. some peeps are more knowledgeable about plants than others, so that would give everyone a chance to win.

Sending a blessing to your mom, how wonderful that she is trying to organize the seeds. It's a big job.
Dividing sandwich size baggies of seeds into individual packets is another big job. Maybe I could get my mom to count 25 Rose of Sharon seeds into individual bags attach the color photo and plant information. And peas, I bought 2 pounds of early pea seeds. What was I thinking? I plant them in a 5 gallon bucket. I should be getting some soon, so delicious I like to eat them raw. I have enough to get her started. I'll have to ask her. I want my seeds organized so I can find a particular one quickly.
Yes...that was what I was looking for. Quick fill options. When someone is looking fora particular seed..Presto just go to the appropriate letter..oh there it is.. In the envie and off...Huh a perfect world.
I think we should only be able to win once a month. Then if 2 are donated then a winner for each one. They only get the one and someone else get the other.

Just a thought, but since you are keeping track of who won. Shouldn't you also keep track of who it was that donated the plants also?

Shipping really doesn't bother me, it's for a good cause, after all. But the two plants go together so nicely I wanted them to go as a couple to one person.
