Hi everyone. What ya all doing? I am keeping a list of all that donate. That was such a good idea . Who had it?
I was kind of waiting until we get to the next thread this one gets busy and I hate new threads...I dont want anyone unable to get on the thread. But...I am open for suggestion I can add it in now...

Hi Arejay

Sounds like great ideas from everyone. I like the "couples" idea. Always nice to have a companion. :) Maybe we could do Wed. for singles night and Sat. for couples? To get the couple you have to unscramble both. Makes it a little harder.

Maybe do the couple once a month. Invite everyone not just newbies. We'd probably get more donations that way. Perhaps some of our vendors would like to get involved.

Maybe some of our experts could write an article that would give us 'clueless' newbies tips on Botanical latin. Always fun to learn new things. :) We'd be the most educated gardeners on the web.

Just a thought. Back to the sun. :) Sherri

Wed for singles and Sat for couples. LOL what a group! Or maybe ladies night for a plant with a female cultivar name.

I think arejay did invite everyone. I know I picked up on it on the trading thread. I bet others will donate. It's a busy time in the garden now, but we can give a push on the thread she put on the trading forum every once in awhile.

Obviously we're having much fun over here. We'll get others to join us.

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

I would, but if i tell ya, then I'll have to kill ya!

actually, there is a term for it, but i cant think of it.. when your eye picks out and unscrambles a particular word... in this case, as soon as I saw the scrambler, my mind immediately unscrambled the word....LOL. I dunno how it worked, it just did. unfortunately that only works for familiar words... it doesnt help you if you have never been introduced to a word or words... and Im unfamiliar with most plant names... so I got lucky in this case, as I was already familiar with with the terms.

Marietta, MS(Zone 7b)

It is a very pretty plant :) Glad you got it :)
