I have a weird situation.. I am an OLDER child AND a YOUNGER child, depending on how ya look at it.
there are six(4 older than me, but half siblings) of us.. but the oldest 4 were elsewhere when I cam along. I have one younger brother, two older brothers and two older sisters (who have both passed away). in my immediate house, I was the older child because there was my younger brother. but I was the baby girl of all so I had it good in both respects...ROTFL
well yall just go on and gloat if you want to. just don't ever forget who "they" like the best. it's hard to believe isn't it? i always marvel over that phenomenom myself. i have 2 children. my oldest child, e.v., tries to be my mother sometimes. she is so much like my own oldest sister. knows everything and she usually does. and my youngest son jack..........makes a full time job out of doing what's fun.

Yup, I was born and raised in West Palm beach. Moved to Jacksonville in my early 20's after a divorce (followed my parents) and moved here to Palm Coast last June.
It was just me and my younger sister (the favorite - lol), but since I was the first grandchild, I got a little taste of being the favorite from Grammy & Grampy . . .
Boy oh boy it must be nice to be somebodies favorite I was never a favortie :((((((((

Yeah I am the eldest of 4 kids, and I raised the other 3. Mama and daddy worked, so it was left to me to take care of them in the summer time, but not til I got old enough LOL I did most of the cleaning and cooking too!!!!
That is the reason I hate to clean house and all of that good stuf that most women don't mind.

Last Sunday, I attended a Midsummer Solstice gathering. While there, I took a trip around the hosts garden. off in an obscure corner of the yard was a small reflecting pond, about the diameter of a car tire, with small flagstone (?) edging. I thought how cool that looked and have now decided (picture this if you will):
a corner bed. The back drop of Gothic spire wrought iron trellises (3)... in the center, a small tire sized reflecting pool, surrounded by black flowers and black foliage plants.
yup yup.. i got me a plan!!!
