Stop and visit, talk all you want #32

The only thing was when we were popping those things that I did mine backwards and shot it towards me and also just about burned my finger. LOL

(Zone 7a)

Ouch! Missy Accident Prone strikes again!

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

It was pretty funny!! I was like OOPS!! Turn it around and shoot away. I was sitting there literally talking to myself and saying that. LOL. Everyone at my table got a kick out of that.

(Zone 7a)

LOL ^_^

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL that sounds like something I'd do! I baked a pizza this evening and there was a skillet in the oven that I forgot about, got the pot holders to take it out, put the pizza in, then went to grab it to put it in the sink. I got lucky, I touched my whole right hand to the handle and I guess I jerked my hand back quick enough, it didn't burn me, I don't know how. All that practice playing "faster than the kitty" I guess.

Ugh, those "power naps" that only last something like 15 minutes? I never have understood that and I certainly could never, ever do it! More "power" to you Celia, if you can! LOL☺

Hey Amanda, you make it sound like a bummer to have to spend the night in IL! LOL Sounds like a good time at the wedding. I've seen pictures of my mom in a poodle skirt, which is just bizarre to think about. In the picture though, is this dark haired guy. I mean, he's actually got hair. Lots of hair. And he looks remarkably like my dad. Weird. Oh wait! It is my dad!! ROFL!!

Crissy, I do things like that all the time. I try to grab things out of the oven without benefit of potholders. I don't know why, but I do. Does anyone ever see the potholders with the Teflon on the back? Silver stuff? I have this pair, they're as old, as long that I've lived away from my parents house. Geez, does that make sense? I've had them since I moved out of my parents house. I cannot find any like that for the life of me. You know how they make some potholders, with the guilt like stitching? That's how these are. A lot of the thread is not attached or even sewn in there anymore. Still attached, just not sewn! They look like heck, and I refuse to wash them because of the Teflon and the loose threads. The only other potholder (singular) I have is that huge one from The Pampered Chef. I don't like it much, the pots are still hot and the dumb potholder is an off white! Makes no sense and Krista is always getting spaghetti sauce on it. Or ketchup.

You know what else I'm good at? Taking something out of the microwave, that's in a microwave safe plastic bag or whatever and setting it down on a stove burner that I had just removed a pot from. Yea. I just LOVE cleaning burnt plastic off the grate.☺

(Zone 7a)

Power nap...lasting between 5 and 10 minutes. Very refreshing.

I started a kitchen fire once because I had something on the stove and turned on the wrong burner. Stupid. Took us a few weeks to find all the soot and clean the extinguisher crud from everything. In the kitchen, in the living room, in the bedroom...Sheesh!

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

LOL terry!! It was a bummer to spend the night since our room at the hotel still had ciggs in the ashtray and a beer can in the trash can. Oh and you can forget the dead bug on the bathroom floor. Other than that it wasn't so bad. LOL

(Zone 7a)

Ew, ew and Ewwwwww!!!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

That's horrible!!

Wow!! I haven't seen pot holders like that in years, I forgot they used to make them. I have newer cloth ones with 'rubber' padding, they work very well.

Car show!!! 1972 Challenger! Stole the show for me.

I think I can positively say...the noisy neighbors across the street...ARE MOVING!!! Yea!!!! They satrted loading a trailer a couple of days ago but I hardly dared hope. Then, today, I saw the garage being emptied and the front room has no more things on the walls. (That's all I can see w/o going over there.) Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love the last car unless it's a Chevy. And whoo hoo on the neighbors!!

(Zone 7a)

Not a Chevy. It's a Nash! LOL Very cute and littler than it looks.

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

Ok, I like it then. LOL

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Oh my 'Snoopy Car!' I was wondering where it went! I love those old Metropolitans!

(Zone 7a)

Yeah, those are great.

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

Last night I went out and saw Jason Michael Carroll. He was smokin' HOT!!!!!! LOL. I'll post pics when I get them on comp. Now the girls I went with last night are trying to get me to go to a Chippendales in 2 months. I'm thinking I might have to go hide at another friend's house so they can't find me that night. LOL.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL You should go!! You'd have a blast!!

Bureau County, IL(Zone 5a)

Who's Jason Michael Carroll?? And I must say, what red blooded female wouldn't go see the Chippendales? I mean really!!

I can't think. The neighbor started mowing. He's a backwards mower. You know? He pulls the mower and walks backwards?

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

He's a country singer and former Marine. And hooooooooooooottttt!!!!!

I much rather watch hot singers sing than watch men strip. lol

Here he is making luv to the Harley. I think just about every woman there was fanning themselves last night when he got on the bike cause he was treating it reeeeeeaal good. lol

I can't stand that, making love to the motorcycle, how about coming over here and making love to me! LMBO!!!!!!!!!!! Of course I'd never do that, I love Dave way to much to hurt him, and myself for that matter.

Here's a link for Jason Michael Carroll.

LOL Terry you crack me up! A Backwards Mower, I've never heard of that but it fits!

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

If I had the muscle needed to do it I would be a Backwards Mower too. But I lack muscle and cordination. I trip over my own feet. LOL

LOL crissy!!!! I was telling a couple girls I work with about the concert and they even came close to fanning themselves. LOL

Bureau County, IL(Zone 5a)

Well, I guess everyone has what they call "hot". Since I was a teen in the '70's, graduating in '76, the majority of the guys in my class had hair like his. I think I grew up. It does nothing for me in other words. It's the hair, it's nothing else, just the hair. I can't stand long stringy hair. Or a guy who pulls his hair back into a ponytail. It just doesn't do it for me.

If you saw the neighbor mowing...I don't think I should say that on here. Hmm..let's see. He's has one of those 2, 2 many beer tummies. The only shirt he wears when he's outside, be it mowing or whatever, is a black muscle shirt. He doesn't have muscles. Not even little ones. But he's got flabby arms to go along with his flabby stomach. Isn't this attractive so far? Gray hair. Turkey neck. I should stop now because I think you get the picture☺ Oh! He'll walk all the way from the front to the back, backwards!!! He mows the same area 2-3 times, going in different directions. He's very weird.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Larry the Cable Guy??

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

ROTFL!!! Ooooohhh what a pic!!!!!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL!! you just described him LOL!!!

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

Man I am tired tonight!! Had to work then run some food to my grandma's, then turn around and drive about 30 min from there to my brother's new place to clean soot from his truck off their couch. I spent several hours trying to scrub it off and I managed to get most of it off the cushions but I only managed to lighten it a bit on the back and arms. I wasn't too happy!! LOL. Then I used the Spot Bot and got a grease stain out of the carpet and lightened up a paint stain then help edge in the living room.

I got home around 7pm to hear Wyatt yelling Nana. LOL. That's how he pronounces my name. He just left a little while ago with his mom. We get him again sometime tomorrow so they can continue to get the place ready to move in. They are hoping for Sunday.

Funny thing happened over there tonight. My dad, brother, landlord and I were in the living room talking when a huge bird hit the window behind my brother and dad. They literally jumped several inches off the floor and were wide eyed. We just stood there and laughed at them before finally telling them it was a bird. Then of course they looked out to see if the bird was there. LOL

(Zone 7a)

LOL about the bird! ^_^

We started work on the greenhouse again today. Got the area cleared and leveled. The base frame is put together. Darrell has an idea about how to anchor it to the ground. I'll show pics when it's done.

It was really hot, too.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Pep if the furniture is any type of cloth material (anything that's not slick) try a soft brush and baking soda. It takes a lot of brushing but it works.

Yay on the greenhouse! You have a lot of work cut out for you but it will be more than worth it!

That's hilarious about the bird! Did it knock itself out?

(Zone 7a)

GH progressing...

That's cute, the perfect size for a little diddy!

(Zone 7a)

What did you get to eat, Sharon?

Amelia Island, FL(Zone 9a)

I had a lean pocket and a little bit of leftover spinach dip!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

I'm eating cherries, would anyone like some?

(Zone 7a)

Mmm...cherries...I finished off the last of the Rainiers yesterday.

What flavor hot pocket?
