I will have tons of seeds, but since I have so many colors, no guarantees on what the babies will look like.

Another lemon yellow - all of the daylilies are loaded with blooms this year, probably because of our nice wet spring.

Your zinnias add such 'spark' to the beds- I'm wishing I'd planted the packets of zinnia seeds I could not resist in February.

Lili,do you dead head regularly?

North of Atlanta, GA(Zone 8a)

yes. I usually let the first few go to seeds and then deadhead them the rest of the season. That way, I'll have seeds for next year. Some people wait until the end of season, but I like to go ahead and do it and get it over with, just in case of early frost or something.

The California Giants zinnias get really tall - about 4-5ft.

Bea , do you know the name of the clematis ?
The four petals make it look like a butterfly.(very pretty)

Dallas, OR(Zone 8a)

Gardengus. There may be a marker but it is way back in the bed at this point in the season. I will try to
look when the fall cut back is in full swing. It is a pretty one, but took three seasons to get to this point. It was small 2" pot when I got it in 2006.

The creek along my garden is home to several mallard ducks - their ducklings have grown almost as large as the adults, but they still tag along with their mom!

The water lilies ("Colorado") are blooming now. The photo was taken at noon - the colors are so washed out - it's a beautiful bloom.

Leawood, I love how you have the lattice over the door for the climber. I might have to do that over my garage.
