Cause the Dr.'s, are just giving educated guesses. I don't think they have all the answers.
Glad to hear the good news!
AMEN...
Incredible news...So very happy to hear and do the Dance too...
Thank you God for hear our prayers.
Tight ARMWRAPS.
Wonderful thing about doctors are.... God makes use of them to help heal us. :D
Yep.. Beth.. can you feel the love? Synda is so right.. this large group sincerely care deeply for one another.
Okay sistahs.. I'll be back later.
Woooooooowwweeeeeeee......... now when you're dancing with Judy, you'll definitely feel the Spirit!!!
Ok.. I'm off!
Oh Praise the Lord, Jaye! this calls for celebration - Carolina Concrete style!!! yup, that's just the ticket!
Welcome Beth - some of us live on here, at least briefly. others hang out every now and then. some just visit briefly. All are welcome - Jaye's place is a great place to hang out!
went to doc today. OK? still haven't seen neurologist, but that's next. (my SI sistahs will keep me on my toes.)
Jaye I thought about that the other day.And you may very well diagree, but here is what I see.....Some of Kel's family and Thanksgiving and how some don't appreciate all that they have been given.God does sometimes give us a shake and a chance to see what is in front of us.Whether we(they) see it, is how deep their faith runs........
Here is what God does sometimes........
Hey Bon, glad to hear you went to the Doc. That is a step in the right direction. What did he tell you? You have an appointment for the neurologist?
We need more pictures of your beautiful blooms, if you can find the time please?
OH Jaye!!! That is wonderful news. Talk about watching people that is so fun to do. And the best place to go is the shopping malls, lol. I can remember one time when my mom and I went to shopping. We were taking a break, having an ice cream cone and people watching. That was in the early 80's when the kids started wearing the mohawks. OH man what sites we saw, lol. We got to laughing so hard. Some people gaves us dirty looks, lol.
Hi Beth!!! Welcome to this wonderful crazy, loving bunch of "Sistahs".
Donna!! Hello, I was thinking of you the other day. So glad to hear things are working out for you guys!!!
Susan /TurtleChi dmailed Mariyln and said that she will be posting soon.
I just got a call from a girlfriend. She's here in Auburn, but her and her hubby are at a friend's house. She wanted to come over to visit. BUT she is also trying to play matchmaker, LOL. I told her "NO WAY" I'm not coming over there I'm filthy dirty been working out in the garden again. This guy has a really pretty house and has a cooktop island in his kitchen. That is one thing I want really bad. But I'm not to sure I want a man to go with it, lol. At least not for awhile. I have too many things I want to do by myself first.
Oh Bon, love all the cute little bunnies you have. Those are the nice kind, that won't eat everything! LOL
Cindy, meant to mention earlier. it is great to hear that you are still loosing weight, but sorry to hear the others at curves are so stuck up! They are they ones missing out on everything.
Keep up the great work.
LK
Oh bonjon, pics like that make me want to go to the mountains so bad. I miss all those beautiful trees, and the hills and the serenity of it all. I could be a hermit, no problem! lol
mcrochet, most of NC is so heavily forested, mostly oaks and pines, that folks visiting here from the west coast think we live in a national park!
but, no, this is just where we live. when I lived in the pacific northwest for 10 years, it took some getting used to, not having trees.....so I planted several. coming back, it was wrenching to the soul, for I'd become accustomed to wide open spaces and seeing for 10 miles. it was a claustrophobic feeling back here. my DILs won't move here, same reason. They've lived all their lives in wide openness. I visited where I'd lived until '87, in '07. Those planted trees are full grown and just gorgeous!
much of Florida is flat, isn't it? here, if we weren't going uphill or downhill, we wouldn't know where to go! south end of county/town is flatter. But....I grew up in North HILLS part of North Raleigh.
Thanks LK, with all that I have to do here I don't need Curves, but then I do because at Curves I work on other areas that need LOTS of attention, lol. The behind is going, going and can't wait till it is GONE. That is my problem area. On that note back to the garden. I made some stepping stones that are feet. Waiting for them too cure before I dump them out of the mold, plus I'm making a dragonfly out of styrofoam and Quickwall. Want to get it painted before I leave for Oregon. Will post pix when I'm done. BBL ^_^
My oldest lives in Raleigh. he loves it!
yes Florida is flat, flat flat, and then it is flat. That's the only part I don't like. I would love to live on a hill again,,,trees other than these scraggly pines. you would think that pine is the state tree.
but I do love Florida, and someday I will live in Florida in the winter and the carolinas in the summer. lol, someday.
Bon, that is kinds fraky. Looks like you moved real fast, and caught something on the side? Very interesting for sure.
Love the trees too. No trees here, other than some mesquite, and a few live oak now and then!
LK
thanks synda! she was in the plant trading forum and noticed a new thread I created for yellow foliage bleeding heart. she found several. if I don't get a taker for a trade, that was going to be my next step, an on-line search. bless you for your quick response, sistah!
when I was looking for photos for taters, I saw that photo of the sunshine yellow foliage and remembered I wanted one. that's one of those "gotta have one" plants.
LK - it is kinda weird. think I figured out what it was.....
Lisa, Happy Birthday! Hope you had a great one.
Synda, I was just there. After the bills we had to pay this pay period we had $60 and there is too much that should be spent on. I ended up barrowing $40 from my Grandma from the medication I needed to get today.
Mom set up a deal with one of the ladies in her neighborhood to do some weeding; she helped but gave me her part this time. I can only work for about an hour at a time due to my ankle and knees, but I’m willing to come over every day till it’s finished. I’m also watching my friend’s son today. She got the same deal of a couple days of work and needed someone to watch him after his father went to work, so I’ll get a little off that.
This weekend I’m staying with my grandmother, she needs someone there due to her knee surgery. I’m not expecting and won’t ask, but it would be great if she’d pay me something for that and dog sitting.
At this point anything helps.
Beth, the more the merrier! Welcome to the thread.
Jaye, I’m so glad to hear that; prayers and the treatment going well and easy.
Bon, where did you live up here? Lack of trees and the Pacific Northwest are not words I’m used to being linked.
So what is it Bon?
I'll tell ya Linda Kay........

Super pretty!!!!!!!!
Oh I have those, Bleeding Hearts. They are in a big pot but I will be transplanting them around the new fish ponds come fall.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for my DGD... Amanda is going to be fine... largely due to the good Lord looking out for her... we're so grateful for that.
The xrays results showed that she did not have any head injury... *whew*
Amanda was riding with her friend down a 2 lane highway toward her house when the storm came up suddenly... they saw the tree starting to fall, and the friend slammed on the brakes. The tree hit the car on the passenger side, and spinned the car around. The tree broke the windshield of the car, and hit Amanda right in the mouth.
She saw a dentist first thing this morning, and had dental surgery this afternoon. Two teeth are completely gone, and three others are now in a brace to try to save them... although, it's not sure they'll be saved...
She has a bad gash and bruised up knee... but nothing is broke.
She has an appointment tomorrow with an eye doctor to see if there are any glass shards in her eye... something there, but nobody can see anything with the naked eye.
The friend driving got a gash on her arm, but she's ok.
The backseat passengers weren't harmed at all.
The way I see it... she's one lucky young lady... a split second either way, and that tree could have hit the top of the car, and crushed her head in... or hit the hood of the car and trapped her by the throat...
By spinning the car around, I think it saved their lives, and prevented more serious injuries.
The storms took our internet out last night, so I couldn't get on today to let you all know what was going on. Had storms heading right for us most of the day, and I wouldn't leave home to go to Steven's till about 2pm... The only thing I could do there was cook them a meal, and made sure they all had something to eat. Made a roast, potatoes, carrots, and gravy and steamed broccoli. Even Amanda tried to mash some of the potatoes with the gravy and eat what she could.
Mike and I came back home as soon as dinner was finished... so they could all go to bed... nobody over there has had any sleep.
Jaye... I'm so happy that you got good news too... Doing the happy dance for both of us tonight.
Phyllis... Millie is fine... we left her on the sun porch this afternoon while we were gone, and she didn't tear up anything... she was such a good girl.
BTW... you don't really want her back, do you? LOL
Hello Ladies;
Thank you all for the sweet Birthday wishes..I got roses from my girlfriend and a necklace from a coworker..My coworkers gave me a cake and ice cream on break which was nice..
As for my family they all called to wish me a Happy Birthday...
As for my husband--No word,no card nothing....Well I guess I know where we stand...And yes he knows what today is..
Guess things don't change!
BJ, so glad to hear the good news about your Amanda! That could h ave been so much worse, it is obvious, that someone up above was watching out for them!

Lisa, so sorry that hubby forgot your Birthday! But sounds like you had a good day at work.
LK
Bon, did you ever figure out what the un identified object was in the picture?
Glad all are doing well...
Don't know about Laura but I am tired! We got a lot done at Dorothy's today...still have a good hard hour or two tomorrow to get finished up. Managed to get a bit done on my own weed collection after it cooled off a bit.
Did Pork steaks on the grill...baked Yam, steamed broccoli and a big salad for dinner. Ate way too much !!
Long night coming....have a bike frame the customer needs to pick up in the morning so Bill is going to be up late getting it finished up....unfortunately if he is up late, so am I.
Hope everyone has a good night.

Waving hello toeveryone, sorry I'm a tiny bit overwhelmed...
love you all sistahs..
see you tomorrow,
They are so cute Cody....and it looks like Angel is doing really well.....I am so happy for her.
When we lived in Taiwan the factory where we lived had a big Koi Pond.....there was one special little Koi that I always fed.... his tail stuck straight up like this __I instead of like normal fish. He got along just fine even if he did swim a little funny.
Have good night....
You too Synda...its bed time.
BJ, so happy that prayers were answered and that God was watching out for Amanda.
I too, have good news. My dad is feeling better and doesn't feel that he needs to up his appt time with the cardiologist. He sees him the first week of July. He still has the nitro pills in case there is a change, but he seems to be his old self again. Thank you all for your prayers for him as I'm sure that is what caused this turn around...
So happy to see little Angel all fat and doing well!
Good Morning, Wonderful News Joyce...So glad God is listening and answering all our Prayers.
Keep the Faith Sistahs...
Oh my gosh, took the kids bowling, didn't really want to bowl, was just going to watch, but they talked me into it.
So very first throw, shoes stuck to floor and tossed myself right down the alley!
ROFLOL...talk about a little embarrassing, for me it happened in s l o w motion, and I got a gutter.
Then the next I got a strike, so ha! The worst bowling floors ever, usually so shiney and polished these were dull and
icky. What can you do.
Well, my new weedwrench finally came so i will be working outside today! And yay, the sun is shining bright too!
Have a good day...See you on a break.
Good morning everyone! Thank God for another Blessed day!
TGIF!
Judy, so sorry you were trying to be a human bowling ball. Hope your not too sore today?
Joyce, so glad to hear your dad is feeling b etter. Just keep a close eye on him.
Where is everyone else? Time to rise and shine, coffee is on, with the waffles, and strawberries!
Good Morning Ladies !!
Yes, indeed she was kissed by God in that accident... Thank you all for your T & P.
Joyce... so glad you're dad is feeling better... another blessing.
Judy... hope someone had a movie camera... could win a prize on America's Funniest Videos... LOL No, really... hope you didn't hurt yourself.
Cody, that little gosling is definitely a fighter...
BJ, Jaye, Marion & Judy God has certainly been in your corner this week. I'm so happy for all of you. Hope everyone has a great day and weekend.
LK - labels? they come on a roll
Laura - you forget, dearie, what the OTHER side of Mt. Ranier looks like? your side, it's dark green. your state is mostly brown. Folks hear about rainy Seattle area only! those mts. stop all the rain on the west side, near the coast. Those fruit orchards in the middle of the state are IRRIGATED, planted where there were no trees to interfer. It's forested again just before Spokane. Oregon, same thing. Willamette Valley area, lush as can be. Rest is brown and dusty, winter wheat fields, until Pendleton. Driving, you tell which state you are in by that pesky deep gorge and BIG river, the Columbia, inbetween. maybe that's why they seldom say one or the other state, folks tend to label it "Pacific Northwest." if it wasn't for that gorge, you couldn't tell which state it was. that, and the sales tax - LOL!!!
We lived in Kennewick, the Tri-Cities, most introverted place ever, daily dust-blowing high winds. Climax vegetation: sage brush, rattlesnakes and tumbleweeds. the only place I've lived I would never live in again, but only because of the community mentality.
