Comments regarding Paradise Garden

I just received my daylily in the mail. It gave me the impression that it was ready to jump out of the box and climb right into my garden. It is very healthy, has a good root system, and is rarin' to go. I'm impressed!

I planted my daylily bulbs and can't wait to see how they look. Thank you for the "Bonus Plant" that was an unexpected surprise. The plants arrived just how I expected, in a timely manor and packed very nicely.I will be a repeat customer. Thank You!

After ordering from Paradise Garden before I was always pleased with my shipment, however this time the hosta I ordered was placed in a too small box for the tall leaves to fit properly. The plant arrived with all the leaves broken off. I contacted the service department and they will replace the plant. The plant itself would have been beautiful had not it been damaged. I will continue to order from Paradise Garden.

I ordered three different plants that were shipped from three different vendors. The roses arrived first in excellent condition (the packaging was bent from the shipping, but the plant was much bigger than I expected and completely healthy!) The clematis arrived the next day with the box again bent, but the plant in excellent condition and it is already climbing! The daylily arrived last and was also much bigger than I expected and also in excellent condition! My mother (whom the plants were a gift for) is a Master Gardener and just loved the size and condition of all three plants! Both of us will recommend Paradise Garden to other mail order gardeners!

The plants arrived sooner than I expected, were larger than I thought they would be and were in excellent condition. I will definitely order from Paradise Gardens again.

I recently ordered day lilies through this company. They arrived in good condition and had several "bonus plants' thrown in. The second half of the order did not arrive within the week and I emailed the company. They told me the remainder of my order was from a different grower and I received that order in another week. I would order from this company again.

Just received my Clethra Ruby shrub. It was very large and packaged in a nice box to withstand the transportation. I also wanted to note the fast shipping I was surprised it had arrived so soon.

This was my first order, all my plants looked great. The packaging was so neat! It was my first order but it won't be my last!!

I have ordered many times from Paradise Gardens and have been overjoyed and pleased every time, except this time. I received confirmation of my order -- 1 Eupatorium and 2 Coreopsis -- and today I received my plants. I opened the box to find only the Eupatorium, and an invoice that had my 2 Coreopsis crossed off with "N/A" written beside it. I have never had this happen before. The shipping is too expensive to only order one plant. I even considered not ordering this time because I only wanted 3 items. But I went on Paradise Garden's site and immediately went to the customer service e-mail to explain my disappointment. I know they will make things right -- they always have. They relay the orders to nurseries that ship the items, so it is THAT nursery that I am annoyed with. So while this is a bit disappointing, I still think this is a reputable company that will go out of its way to please the customer.

I purchased Pumpkin Kid from Paradise Garden and it arrived quickly and in really good shape. It was the largest plant (fans) I have ever received from a mailorder nursery! I will definitely be buying here again.

I received my hostas from Paradise Gardens and they were in great shape. It's hard to believe that plants can be packaged in such a way that the soil is still moist and had no damage to their leaves. I'm very happy with this company and definitely intend on purchasing live plants from them again. Good job!

All of the plants were large and well packed, however, the box should have been marked "This side up" as the box was tossed about some. One plant was a little bedraggled but it seems to be recovering nicely now that it's been planted. Overall, I was very pleased.

I ordered several daylillies and they came in great shape. I immediately planted them and within a week there was new growth and I am looking forward to the blooms. As a first time buyer I was skeptical about mail order but now I am willing to try again.

I received my hardy fuschia and hibiscus plants earlier than I expected. Both were in excellent condition and, from their appearance, will probably flower this season.

I would DEFINITELY order from Paradise Garden in the future.

My clematis plants arrived well-packed and in great condition. The plants were also larger than I expected. I am very pleased with my purchase!

I recieved my order of daylilies today. They came from two separate vendors. One box came with instructions on how to care for them prior to planting and much more. Both boxes contained more flowers than ordered. All the lilies were in good shape with large roots. I can not wait to see them in bloom. Thank you, and I will keep you in mind when I start my garden of Iris's

This was my first time ordering from Paradise Garden. I received a gift certificate for Christmas. Nice website with lots of choices, including hard to find items - good prices as well. It seemed to take a while to start receiving my plants but considering that we just had a frost the other night, their timing was appropriate. I have received about 3/4 of my order so far and have been astounded at the size of the plants - they're Huge compared to other plants I've ordered online or through catalogs. I planted the 3 daylilies and they've already started to grow bigger - can't wait to see them in bloom. Just yesterday I received 2 ornamental grasses and a shade perennial and they were even better than the daylilies. I will definitely order from Paradise Garden again.

Plants (Miscanthus- Huron Sunrise and Clematis-Liberation) were more expensive than other mail order but when they came I could understand why. Good size plants. Shipped well. I also like the fact that they carry more than just the run of the mill varieties. I can't wait to see my peonies in the fall!

I received part of my order last week.... daylily Rosy Returns.... lily was in excellent condition and with a much larger root system than I anticipated!! Very Nice!!!

I had ordered a few daylilies from Paradise Garden; So Lovely, Miss Tinkerbell and Chicago Ruby. Their were more eyes of each daylily then I expected that I was able to share them with my parents! Will order again.

Received my daylillies yesterday and planted them today. Much bigger than I expected! They are very healthy and I hope they do well.

I have received all my orders in a timely and well boxed manner. Very pleased with the products. I'm sure they will grow well and be everything I want.

This was the first time I ordered from Paradise Gardens. Their website is beautiful and easy to use. Their customer service is excellent both over the phone and through email.

I ordered two clematis. The box was damaged in shipping, but in spite of the ruff ride the plants looked healthy and intact upon arrival. The plants had been sufficiently protected with packing materials by the nursery who sent them. One plant seemed to have a small root system considering the large six inch pot it was in, but I suppose that's better than being in a small pot and rootbound.

Just recieved 3 hostas today: 'super nova', 'Sum of all', and 'carnival'. All are very happy and healthy and at least the size I would find in local nurseries. Shipped in 6 inch pots, not bare rooted. More than one eyed plants. I couldn't be happier with the experience!

I ordered a Blue Angel Hosta and a gift certificate for my Mom for Mother's Day. The Hosta arrived this morning in superior condition. I had read about how they sell bigger plants than anywhere else, but I wasn't prepared for this ENORMOUS Hosta. It is healthier and taller than any Hosta I've seen at any local garden center and I have many to choose from locally! My mother loves Paradise Garden's products and she recommended them to me, so her Gift Certificate was a huge hit! Thanks Paradise Garden!

This was my first order from Paradise Garden. Good ratings on this site encouraged me, but also PG had a miscanthus that I really couldn't find and wanted very much to have - Huron Sunrise. Imagine my surprise when this MAIL ORDER plant was the same size as those I have been driving 42 miles to a nursery to get. They were very forthcoming in telling me the source of the plant which, by the way, came with a Certificate of Quarantine Compliance relating to checks for gypsy moths and Japanese beetles, and noting that it was grown in a sterile, soilless medium. I have never received this type of information, and I was VERY impressed.

Packaging was first rate, and so was communication. Since this was my first order, it was a small one. I will not hesitate in the future.

The daylilies I received were HUGE. They were much larger than others I had ordered elsewhere. They were well packed and delivered very quickly. I would definitely order from them again.

This is only the 2nd company I have bought plants from online, and I bought MANY plants in two shipments from them. The plants all arrived in excellent shape and were packed extremely well, with the exception of 5 which wilted in a couple of days. When I wrote to the company, they were replaced very promptly at no charge and are doing well. I will use this company regularly and have told others about it as well.

I recently purchased some Clematis plants and I was very pleased with them when they arrived. They were in excellent health and much larger than the other plants I had ordered from various nurseries. In addition before I ordered them I received speedy feedback on some purchasing questions. I would have liked some planting instructions in the box that was shipped. I was able to get the instructions I needed from the website.

I just received my plants in the mail today and I am amazed! They were in such good health and so much bigger than other mail order plants that I have received. This is my first time purchasing plants from this company, but it most certainly won't be the last! I may place another order with them today because I am so pleased with this shipment!
