Too Cute
Who are your Garden Helpers Part 3!
It's a BENJI DOG!! Sooooooooooooooo sweet! I bet she doesn't shed either! I just wanna plant a smooooch-a-roo right on that little nose and then roll around in the grass with her...lol!
Thanks Sharon for sharing your photo of Sunshine
I am glad so many of you enjoyed her
And, yes, Highmountain she would enjoy rolling in the grass with you
and anyone else who comes around
I know you can never heal the empty space a pet leaves when they pass,
but I did purchase Sunshine to help me heal.
I think it's the greatest tribute we can give to our furry friends . . . to miss them and to grieve so hard. It helps them to know how much they were loved and keeps them waiting at the Bridge for us . . .
Lexy-girl had a long and wonderful life with you, Julie, and don't bet she didn't know it. She's running free and in no pain now and watching over you to make sure that you take this transition well. And I'll bet she's so happy that you have your other pups there to fill the empty spaces.
Kathy
Oh Julie, I'm so sorry for your loss of your beloved Lexy. A good, old friend like her will always be with you in your heart.
Thanks again for the wonderful sentiments.
Kathy, you are right ... It makes my heart feel good to know that my pups have a wonderful world that allows them much more freedom than most dogs enjoy, and to know that they have had a happy life with me. It doesn't seem to ease the pain of missing them much though....Sigh....
I am not a big fan of this whole "circle of life" thing these days as the last year and a half has brought an awful lot of the bad side of it into my world. I did however get to enjoy the positive side of it this am when I got called into work as my brother had to stay home and have puppies (actually, it was his dog who had the puppies, but talking to him you would figure he was the only one involved!). Anyway, I got to stop by and see a sweet squirming little batch of yellow newborns on my way to work... how can a day be bad after that?
Oh, what fun!!! I love newborn puppies! Glad you had a happy beginning to your day, hope it continued.^_^
OK, bug patrol! They almost look plastic. Hope their evening is very successful!
They look like they're on steroids!!! Those bugs must be very nutritious. LOL
Speaking of bugs . . . .I heard tonight on All Things Considered on NPR that bats on the east coast are getting hit with a "white nose syndrome" that is wiping out whole colonies. Bat's eat 1/2 their body weight in bugs a day - females with babies even more. The fear is that the loss of the bats will result in millions of dollars in lost crops.
I saw my lone bat last night at dusk. She wasn't very big, but I'm hoping she was hungry for mosquitoes . . .

Yes, I read that story also. Hope it doesn't get out here.
Beautiful kitty Bea, sure looks contented to me. LOL
That is an interesting looking frog.
Kathy, we learned about the white nose syndrome at a bat seminar this spring, and it is really scary! I wish we had colonies here like they do in the east...they are so much fun to watch, and anything that eats mosquitoes is my bestest friend!
Bea, Feisty looks to be settled in just fine!
Cute frog mom!
So I have to share the first baby pics of my brother's puppies, especially since it is like a "which one of these things are not like the other" puzzle! Momma Sunny and her batch of 6 little ones...
Julie, How precious they are. I think Phoenix may need a little brother or sister.
Willow, I was all good with your pictures until you posted the tomato....now I'm hungry! I have been too impatient to let my matoes get ripe yet...the are good when they are ALMOST red too! I love your toad, and your birdhouse is wonderful!
Bea, I can not be tempted by puppies.... I can not be tempted by puppies.... I can not be tempted by puppies! Both DH and Mom would kill me! Phoenix is in a "thieving" stage and driving both of them nuts as they can't put anything down without it disapearing! Then when you catch her she looks at you with that sweet little face...........
Julie...I would love a big dog to take walks with ..but my little terrors (chihuahua's) & cat would not be pleased. I bet it is hard to get angry at Phoenix. She is so darling I bet it is hard to get mad at her. Good luck with the little thief!
That's a funny name for a rose.
Now that is so perfectly color coordinated that it must have been planned.
Yes.. I try to coordinate my home accessories to match my pets!! LOL! :)
My girls were groomed today. They are back to looking like poodles for a few days. Amber has purple bows to match her purple collar and Mindy has fuchsia bows to match her fuchsia collar. Mindy being black and Amber being cream they look pretty snazzy. In a week they will be back to looking like my little butter-butts.
Bea, Feisty must be one graceful cat! All of his poses are so dainty around things that would be so easily knocked off! That pic is just too wonderful! Your comment about sometimes wanting a big dog sounds so much like me but in reverse. We live in a teeny little mobile (the plan was temporary housing until we built, but now, who knows? Who likes to spend time inside anyway?) so I can't have my big puppies indoors. I often think that I would love to have a bitty one that I could snuggle with on the couch at night and have inside with me (it was heaven having Phoenix inside, but when she could reach the counters it was time to move to the "dog quarters"). I will stick with my big kids for now though, as I like the security of having them around when I am working on the edges of the woods!
Willow, I bet your babies look cute as buttons fresh from the groomer! Isn't it amazing how quickly fur can grow and make a well groomed pup look like a little wooly bear? We try to keep Mom's Gigit groomed, but she grows hair like it's going out of style!
Tilly, Your bunny butt is adorable!
You need a Bunny-butt LOL
Tyler is the best little/med. ? not sure what to call him. And very smart, he knows if you ask him for a certain toy he will find it. And cuddles nice, even tho he knows he is not to be on the furniture.
Willow, my DDH always called my Schnauzer Butt-er-nose when she needed grooming as you couldn't tell which end was which when she was all curled up in bed with us.
