I was sooo wondering what this plant was going to look like in bloom! Was I delighted today to find it come in blue! I do not kow what it is but it is lovely and blooms in our woods!

Well, the focus of this shot was lost in bad lighting so I am going to have to shoot this again. But that big tree in the middle is an oak tree. It jas a huge parasite growing on it called poison ivy... the ivy literally covers this huge oak from toe to head, then the floor of the tree is surrounded by ground growing poison ivy.... nasty if you are allergic. So far in 10 years of lurking in the woods and constantly in this weed.. no rashes ....yet.... and we mow it, walk through it and it gets on our clothes, on our equipment and the urisol that is in the plant is on our everything. You really have to be careful if you have the allergy. Some people quake at he sight of this nasty weed!

Extracting this picture today has really made my day! It is the second of daylilies here to bloom. It is a brand new born seedling here that is a child of Stella de oro. It is the first of its kind! I am so hoping it has picked up Stellas reblooming charactoristic! I is the same size as Stella, but look at that lovely eye!

It is an open pollinated flower, by that I mean, it was pollinated by some incect and not by human hands.

Sally, Lol at the Beetle Blooms! Glad you liked our pics!

BB, were you saying for me to post something on the bog forum? Or were you talking to someone else?

Poison Ivy... my DH is one that just has to walk by it to break out. Winds up having to go to the dr. for shots/ rx's. He has had it 2 x's just recently and both times he had been planting stuff in an area by a fence on our land. We have yet to see the culpit yet though. It's hiding there somewhere though!

BB, the daylilly is really pretty! (we cross-posted)

WHite peony....hmmmm this is weird. None of my pinks look like they are going to bloom... tooo much rain I gues.. looks too as if we lost a few. Either that or the ice storm hurt them.

yardqueen, what is your secret on the brugs? They are fab!

Emory, TX(Zone 8a)

If I have a secret, I don't know it either! LOL I just water them and feed them plain ole MG. Sometimes the ready to feed and sometimes the shake and feed. I really do need to do "the recipe" they talk about on the brug forum, but I haven't mixed any up. I have the ingerdients...

I think right now they have been enjoying the weather we have had and I think they also are celebrating getting out of the greenhouse! Most of them were in the greenhouse in tubs of water from Nov to April! That is really not good for them.

Beautiful flowers everyone!
Thank you for the new thread Candee, lovely foxtail lilies.
Yardqueeen, Thanks so much for the Cannas, they look magnificent!

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

Wow I am overwhelmed by all the lovelies here.
Blossom you have your spiderwort in a great area when it can run wild and free, as for mine it encroaches everything around it, hence my dislike. I havent seen or even thought of milkweed since I was a kid, thanks for the memories of playing with those pods.
Yardqueen how do you root hydrangea. Yours is lovely, I transplanted mine from last year and think it looks a lot better in the new spot. Have to laugh when you say they bloom even when tiny as I have had mine for 10 years and have yet to get one single bloom. That salmon rose is a real beauty. Agapanthus that is quite stunning as I really like the unusual!
Sally, nice bugs LOL!

Well now blossom this can't be good. It rained and stormed so hard a tree came down and I could not get to our house the usual route then I was stranded in the car for 1/2 hour as I could not get into the house because of the marble size hail would have crushed my tiny skull LOL, and then the temps dropped and 3 hours later there is still ice on the deck and nasturiums and in the yard?
