June flowers...

Yes...yes...I know--I am generous to a fault! But--giving is one of the pleasures I can partake in among friends and feel the satisfaction of having done something good.

Thanks for the link. I like the variety of plants they have listed.

Think hellebores, Happy. And pulmonaria. Once they get rooted in, they're very drought tolerant and thrive in dry shade. (You can see the pulmonaria blooms in the corner of this photo.)

I thought I had a newer photo that showed the pulmonaria foliage, which is very pretty, but I'm not finding it. Did you get any of the clustered bellflowers from me? They do well in dry shade too.

I hope things slow down for you soon, Happy. We missed you.

Hart, my Pulmonarias are always reverting to plain green. I'm giving up on them.

I wonder what causes that? Maybe it's the variety? Mine haven't done that at all. One pretty one I have is Diana Clare. No spots but the leaves are silvery. I thought maybe that one would lose some of the silver as the summer went on but it hasn't. The other one I have is Mrs. Moon, which has white spots and it stays spotted all summer too.

The Roy Davidsons we got in the mini-coop last year haven't been here long enough for me to say how they do.

Mrs. Moon, which I probably need to move because the hellebores are encroaching.
I'm going to go ahead and start us a new thread because this one is getting pretty long.

Hart and Gita..need to find where you all live so I can sneak in one night and dig up your beautiful clustered bellflower plants! Hope you don't have an attack dog guarding your property! Will you all be at the Swap meet in Frederick on Feb. 27th? Hope to see you there!

Pippi--

My Clustered Bellflowers are only in their second year and are not too clumped yet to share. Maybe next year?

Yes! i got them from hart--she has plenty! Took them a year to get going in my bed--I see all kinds of small shoots all around it--as they are known to spread a lot.
The bed I have them in I call my "YUK" bed--where very few things grow--due to tree roots. These WILL grow there--as hart grows them in almost pure rocks--and they thrive.

YES! I will be going to the Seed Swap in Frederick. Probably riding up with sally--as i always do.

I have lots of seeds! Will list them any day now on the Swap Thread. You can also check out my Trade List--I have most of them posted there--and most of them have pictures attached. Will work on the pictures for the rest of them as soon as I can.
Just click on my name and then follow down to "Gita's Trade List to see.

Looking forward to meeting you! Gita
