Bec, I picked up those little fences at the General Dollar store, 3 to 4 $ for a 5 piece section. They come in white or green. Nice for keeping little doggies out of the beds.

Chris, funny how you say little doggies....I had to wrap my new blue and yellow garden in chicken wire temporarily until I find a solution to keep Wall-e out of it.

Stormyla, Thanks for the info on the iris, I'll mark all those names down.
Jen, Thanks for the tip on the Bleeding Heart I pinched off my flower stems today. I think Columbine will do the same thing but I always forget about that.
I was wondering about the flower stalks on my heuchera. Should they be cut back when they are finished?
Reminder while we are talking about pinching back flower stalks. Don't forget to keep your Chrysanthemums pinched back this month so you have a nice fall display and cut your asters back, too.
Talking Roses, I have a friend that has a small rose garden and is replacing all of her older ones with the Knockouts. She says they are beautiful and so easy to care for.
Hart here is my America. I just love this rose the color is wonderful and they have been holding up very well under my less than tender care. LOL

So many pretties! Everything is beautiful. Jen, I love old fashioned flowers like bachelor's buttons. My mom, who is crazy about anything blue, always grew those when I was a kid.

Your America is gorgeous, Holly.

I'll have to take some new photos tomorrow. I've been too busy the past couple of days.

Norristown, PA(Zone 6b)

Bec, Is that stock a perennial?

Lady, Your clematis is very pretty.

Jen your Magic Rose is beautiful and those foxglove look so good. Now I've got loads of dicentra to shear. Thanks!

Holly, That America rose is gorgeous and looks perfect trailing along your fence. Is your Honeysuckle fragrant? I was thinking to cut the mums some time later this month. How far back do you cut yours?

I traded off my Splish Splash a few years ago and have been kicking myself ever since. :>( Dumb move.

Okay, here's part of my haul from Walmart yesterday. I found these barberries on clearance for $3 and the lily on clearance for $2.25. The other plant is basket of gold.
