Patches is the only one we've seen in about 5 days. DH heard the sound of a rabbit being attacked the other night so we know one is gone for good.

Our friend who lives about a mile away.(down our field, across the brook and up the hill to another field) said his cat killed one that looked like this....which is Thumper.

Brian has been very upset with the demise of all these bunnies in such a short time. I kept saying we needed a garden shed^_^ to put our tools, lawnmower, gazebo, ect.....
Well I was a little sneaky (as pixie's are known to be from time to time) and I told him if he built a shed on skids(movable), the rabbit would have another safe place to get under. I said that once Patches goes under the shed, fence in the area around it so he has a play area and is safe. Now I can see the wheels in his little head turning so I continue with my brainstorm outloud. I tell him if he makes it big enough and takes a piece of that solarium glass we have, and place it on the south side. I could have a HECK of a cold frame and grow lettuce for Patches and Sophie all the time. ^_^
How's that for being ingenious??
Sounds just about right to me, Pixie! I'm still trying to convince my son that if I let him have the barn, half has to be for a bunny!
Well Patches and I talked about it........and he agreed it was a good idea.
Then we sat down and had a serious talk with Dad...
Patches even showed him how his tail is starting to wrinkle from all this rain,
The wood was delivered yesterday and this was taken at 5 tonight. ^_^

He sat in one of the flower beds so so he could watch Brian build it. Never nibbled on one plant, just the clover. Good Bunny!!
