Sophie's Saga ........ look how much she's grown!!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

It's lookin' really good!!! Will Patches' play area be under the main shed part?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Wow, that is going up super fast!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

As to that first class cold frame.......just think, you could take Sophie and Patches for a spin through the lettuce aisles on their birthdays. LOL

Thomaston, CT

LOL, Louise---that is a given!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

WHOO HOO!!! It's going up lickety split! Perchance does Brian do patios?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

This is the little devil that Patches has starring wars with over the food dish. He grunts and stomps his foot but this brave little guy sneaks in and steals some food anyways.

Looking good!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I want it done yesterday but DH & DS wanted to go fishing. lol Not complaining really, they are moving right along.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

They catch anything?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Um yes, but the 'Old Men' got shut down by the 'youngin'! lol
My Brother only caught one keeper (big enough to eat) out of 5, DH only caught 7 but kept none. Joshua on the other hand takes after his Mother.^_^ He caught 11, but threw them all back even though they were 'keepers'. He said he didn't feel like eating fish just then and you can only keep 2 anyways and he couldn' t decide which ones to keep. lol

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Oh and he caught a Salmon too, the others were all Trout.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Cool. In a boat?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Nope, off the shoreline of a river in Northern Maine.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

What kind of roof are you going to put on it?

Thomaston, CT

Nice looking shed---I can think of many things to put in it!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

So DH is in the middle of building this shed and is reading how you can't fence in a rabbit as they wiil just tunnel it's way out. Oh well, back to the drawing board......the good news is Patches is now safe. I picked him up and put him in a dog kennel we had. He has been letting me pat him every day so yesterday I picked him up and stuck him in. He wasn't happy at first but he seems to be getting use to it . He has been initiating the contact so we figured he must be lonely.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Can he have a part of the cold frame for a cage....snazzy!! LOL

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Oh he'll have the best of what ever he gets im sure. With Mr. Bunnieman he can't go wrong. ^_^

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

I have no doubts!!! LOL

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

He went outside (DH) and sat in the rain today beside the cage. The cage is completely covered with a waterproof awning. Patches was nice and dry, DH was not. lol
It has shrubs and plants all around it so it is well camoflouged and I put all my Geraniums and Mums around it to repell insects and marigolds to help ward off predators.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Well, you could bury welded wire under the entire area you are going to fence in and then they couldn't tunnel out. . .

North Augusta, ON

Or, put a cement floor under 7 or 8 inches of soil ^_^

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Believe me, we've been brainstorming like crazy. Have to think of the harsh winters we have also, and how far from the house his home is,heat, ect....

Thomaston, CT

I'm sure he'll stay for the food---just put his fav stuff in the enclosure---guys think of their stomachs!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

OMG - you are going to heat the bunny house for a wild bunny? Brian has gone over to the furry side! LOL

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

I think if you just put chicken wire at the bottom of the fence, buried and curled inwards, that will prevent him from being able to tunnel. I don't think it needs to be very deep.

Karen

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

However - Patches probably wants to tunnel so maybe Brian should dig down 3' and then put in the chicken wire. That would make room for the bunny hot tub, too. lolololol And I thought I spoiled my cats! You go, Brian!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

I think Patches would like a swimming pool too with a little diving board.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

A bunny condo!! How cool. Oh, and you guys can use it, too.

Lyndonville, NY

Our bunny Ben loves a bath...only a couple inches cool water, and he is sooo happy in the summer.

I see a kiddy pool in the hoppening...I mean happening.

Rabbits usually live in tunnels under the ground in "normal" circumstances, so that could be he would burrow if natural instincts kick in. Very cool for them to dig in the dirt and lay also.

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

Been away for awhile, and couldn't wait to catch up with this thread. Wish I didn't have to read about the missing bunnies, but yayyyy for the bunny condo! And yayyyy for you and Brien! What a great idea you had, and he built.

As always, Ms. Sophie is beautiful. Thanks, Pix!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Hi Sharon! So nice of you to drop by, i've missed you. Have been very busy , two days in a row I had to go Wedding shopping in the City and just now catching up.
DD got shoes, and tiara bought, her veil and garter set ordered . Her gown was ordered a few weeks ago, it's cream with a truffle (brown) colored sash.
Her Birthday is tomorrow, she turns 30!! I bought her a smokey topaz tear drop surrounded by diamonds to wear on her wedding day. Life is good but very tiring lately!! lol

Bunny update....while I was in town, DH went and got Patches his own bunny hutch just like Sophie's. He is still in the mudroom, DH and I can't leave him outside with all this rain(21 days out of 30) we have an ungodly amount of mosquito's!!!!!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

um I just realized that I'm not as spoiled as Pixie's and Brian's bunnies. I'm just wondering... I'm cute.... I could live in a condo.... also have thumbs and could help with gardening chores.... did I mention I was cute?

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

Dahlia, if you go live in the bunny condo, I am going to live in your cottagey playhouse.

Celeste...we need to see pictures of your lovely daughter....

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Get your passport in order and come on down D-nut...you can have the new shed!
Oh, and it's OK if your lying about being cute as long as your thumbs work! LOL

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Will do Sharon, Sept. will be here before I know it!!

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

Is Sophie going to be in the wedding??

South China, ME(Zone 5a)
